As we continue to pray for the President and his entourage…we give thanks to God for the powerful messages the President is delivering to those in the Islamic and Jewish realms, both natural and spiritual! We speak the complete coverage and protection as President Trump meets with the PLO leader today in Bethlehem…and then visits sites precious to Israelis and all of us who treasure of Hebrew roots. Cover them as they depart Israel this evening and head to Belgium. We pray that he has time to rest and recover strength to face the major “religious” spirit that seeks to dominate and control the EU. As we take communion, we pave the way!

Knowing our Identity in Christ
“…if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.”
As the President moves through today’s events, may he be ever mindful of Who’s he is and what that means. Let him be keenly aware of his identity in Christ and enable him to do all that is pleasing to God, so that even his enemies will be at peace with him!
Today’s schedule:
· Meeting with PLO President Abbas in Bethlehem. President Trump will convey his administration’s hope to facilitate an agreement that ends the conflict and urge Palestinian leaders to take steps that will hopefully help lead to peace.
· Laying a wreath at the Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial (* See notes and picture below)
· Visit to the Israel Museum in the Givat Ram neighborhood of Jerusalem.
Read each scripture aloud and pray into it on behalf of our President and nation!
· Galatians 3:26 For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.

President Trump will participate in a memorial ceremony at Yad Vashem on Tuesday, 23 May 2017 at 13:00. While the President’s visit to Israel is brief, he requested to commemorate the six million Jewish victims of the Holocaust by participating in a memorial ceremony in the Hall of Remembrance. During the ceremony, the President will rekindle the eternal flame and lay a wreath on a stone slab under which ashes from extermination camps are buried. El Maleh Rachamim, a Jewish prayer for the souls of the martyrs’ of the Holocaust, will be sung.
Yad Vashem has become the global center for gathering and disseminating information about the Holocaust and seeks to meaningfully impart the legacy of the Shoah for generations to come. The Hall of Remembrance was the first commemoration site established at Yad Vashem on the Mount of Remembrance. Its walls are made of basalt boulders brought from the area surrounding the Sea of Galilee, and its angular roof gives it a tent-like shape. Engraved on the mosaic floor are the names of 22 Nazi murder sites, symbolic of the hundreds of extermination and concentration camps, transit camps and killing sites that existed throughout Europe. The Eternal Flame continuously illuminates the Hall, its smoke exiting the building through an opening at the highest point of the ceiling. Before it stands a stone crypt containing the ashes of Holocaust victims.
