For us to receive and put on the Ephesians 6 “full armor of God” as we begin each hour,
that we might be protected as we continue to “stand in the gap” for our beloved country!
Pray.
The key assignment for the 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call is to intercede hourly
for the safety and security of our President, Donald John Trump,
and to pray for that which pertains to our nation!
We pray for his protection and ask that he be led by the Holy Spirit
so that he will discern truth and act for the good of the nation.
We bless our First Lady, Melania, their marriage and family, and cover them all with the Blood of Jesus.
Pray.
For those leaders God has anointed and appointed, to be elected and work together,
cleaning up corruption and restoring election integrity,
so righteousness will prevail in every race in 2026.
Bring the SCOTUS Justices into alignment with God’s purposes in making their decisions!
Protect all the members of the Trump Administration,
especially the Cabinet, military, law enforcement agencies, such as ICE, FBI, and CBP.
Pray.
For God’s blessing and intervention in the lives of Joe Hoft, Tina Peters,
and WH Chief of Staff Susie Wiles,
as they each need miraculous resolutions to the issues threatening and attacking them!
Pray.
We will now spend the next 10 minutes praying for President Trump,
focusing our prayers against any assassination attempts or demonic attacks against him.
Let him remain in good health, so he can serve his entire 4-year term as our 47th US President!

As we pray for the safety and security of the nation during these 21 days of preparation for our country’s May 17th Day of Rededication to God, we are including inspirational prayers and proclamations from throughout our American history. As we look back at what was prayed and proclaimed previously, we will also look forward to seeing the fulfillment of those prayers in our lifetime…as we enter the Golden Age of America!
Today, we will read about and pray into the First Prayer in Congress, in 1774
When the First Continental Congress convened in Philadelphia in September 1774 to coordinate a colonial response to British encroachments, the delegates faced not only political uncertainty but profound ideological and regional diversity. Despite their differing denominational backgrounds, one of the first motions proposed— offered by John Adams and supported by Samuel Adams — was that the Congress begin its proceedings with prayer. Rev. Jacob Duché, an Anglican clergyman from Christ Church in Philadelphia, was invited to lead the opening devotion on September 7. Despite initial concerns over denominational divisions, the prayer service proved unexpectedly unifying. Rev. Duché opened with an extended prayer and then read aloud from several chapters of Scripture, including Psalm 35 — a reading that John Adams would later describe in a letter as “profoundly stirring.” The gathering turned into a lengthy and solemn devotional session, reportedly attended with deep emotion by the delegates, including George Washington. The positive reception of this inaugural prayer led the Congress to institutionalize the practice. A chaplain was appointed, and each subsequent session of Congress was thereafter opened with prayer — establishing a precedent that continues in both the House and Senate to this day. Far from being a ceremonial formality, the prayer was regarded by many delegates as a source of moral clarity and national purpose during a time of political crisis and impending conflict.
“O Lord our Heavenly Father, high and mighty King of kings, and Lord of lords,
Who dost from Thy throne behold all the dwellers on earth and reignest with power supreme
and uncontrolled over all the Kingdoms, Empires and Governments;
look down in mercy, we beseech Thee, on these our American States,
who have fled to Thee from the rod of the oppressor and thrown themselves on Thy gracious protection,
desiring to be henceforth dependent only on Thee.
To Thee have they appealed for the righteousness of their cause;
to Thee do they now look up for that countenance and support, which Thou alone canst give.
Take them, therefore, Heavenly Father, under Thy nurturing care;
give them wisdom in Council and valor in the field;
defeat the malicious designs of our cruel adversaries;
convince them of the unrighteousness of their Cause
and if they persist in their sanguinary purposes, of own unerring justice, sounding in their hearts,
constrain them to drop the weapons of war from their unnerved hands in the day of battle!
Be Thou present, O God of wisdom, and direct the councils of this honorable assembly;
enable them to settle things on the best and surest foundation.
That the scene of blood may be speedily closed;
that order, harmony and peace may be effectually restored,
and truth and justice, religion and piety, prevail and flourish amongst the people.
Preserve the health of their bodies and vigor of their minds;
shower down on them and the millions they here represent, such temporal blessings
as Thou seest expedient for them in this world and crown them with everlasting glory in the world to come.
All this we ask in the name and through the merits of Jesus Christ, Thy Son and our Savior.”

Each day, as we intercede for the May 17th event, pray over each aspect of the gathering, in particular, for the protection of all attending and participating; the space in which it will take place in DC; and for safety and security all across our nation. Ask for God’s intervention to stop any plans of the enemy to interfere with or disrupt this Rededication. Take time now to pray into the overall Rededication as the Spirit leads!

Other matters to be covered in prayer today:
Rescheduling of the China Summit: On April 21, 2026, during the “America Reads the Bible” initiative, President Trump, sitting in the Oval Office, read 2 Chronicles 7:14: “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” We ask that he will set apart uninterrupted time to fully prepare his heart for the National Rededication of America to God, without the pressure of international travel.
Pray that President Trump has the wisdom to take time to prepare for proper consecration and seek God’s face without any distractions. We ask that the planned May 14-15 Beijing summit with President Xi be rescheduled to a later date, so our President can give his full attention to the Rededicate 250 National Jubilee. Let him enter this solemn season of national rededication with unhurried time to pray, seek Your face in humility, and receive fresh strength and wisdom for the fullness of America’s destiny. Pray.
Pending Virginia Redistricting Ruling by SCOVA: Due to the ongoing legal challenge before the Supreme Court of Virginia (SCOVA) in Scott v. McDougle (which was most likely “stolen” by a last-minute mail-in ballot drop), the Democrats’ redistricting referendum remains uncertified and blocked by a lower court injunction. A favorable ruling for Republicans would strike down the Dems’ amendment on procedural and constitutional grounds, preventing Democratic gerrymandering that would compromise the current GOP 5-seat margin in the House of Representatives.
Pray that SCOVA would rule swiftly and decisively in favor of the Republican plaintiffs, upholding the ruling by Judge Jack Hurley, and protecting the integrity of the congressional mapping process. We ask that SCOVA justices prioritize constitutional procedure over political bias, nullifying the referendum. Pray.
We pray:
In gratitude for an early recognition by our Founding Fathers that, during times of crisis and conflict, prayer is a source of moral clarity and national purpose. May it be ever so in our nation. Pray.
That as various individuals are given the honor of opening Congressional sessions in prayer, may that “platform” be reserved only for those praying to and in the Name of the one true God. Pray.
That the people of our nation will stand alongside President Trump, and remain engaged in this BATTLE TO SAVE AMERICA until VICTORY is won! Pray.
Protect, strengthen, and cover our 24/7 family in the Blood of Jesus. Bring in mature Christian men and women, and call the younger generation to this assignment with us, as we pray for our President and our beloved nation! Prepare us for our NEXT STEPS in this Battle to Save America! Pray.
