As we intercede today for the President, the First Lady and their entourage…we ask for complete coverage and protection for them from all forces of darkness and evil that might seek to influence or affect them in any way! May the favor of God upon them increase steadily with each step in these crucial meetings. They are Yours. Lord! We entrust them to Your loving care! Use them for YOUR purposes.

Strategic Focus for Thursday
Belgium – EU – NATO
“People won’t talk about you anymore using words like ‘forsaken’ or ‘empty.’

Covenants are God’s idea. The core of all covenants is: “I, the eternal Creator, bridge the gap with the creature, by establishing a covenant; I promise to prosper and protect the creature, on the sole condition of submission on his part, forever”. (In short: “I am your God and you are my people.”) Europe was destined to enter into a covenant-relationship with Jesus, the King of the nations, and to become a disciple-nation, but connections with wrong covenant-partners prevented it from entering into the real covenant God wanted with this precious group of nations! Today, we pray for the redemption and renewal of this beautiful continent, which has been renamed Beulah, and for her marriage covenant with the King of Glory! – Helen Bos
Today’s schedule: Thursday, May 25th
· President Trump will meet with King Phillipe and Prime Minister Charles Michel of Belgium, along with the heads of state and governments in this, the host country for the NATO Alliance.
· The President will travel to the European Union headquarters in Brussels to meet with the European Union and European Council Presidents.
· He will meet Donald Tusk, President of the European Council, and Jean-Claude Juncker, Chief of the EU Commission. The President’s criticism of the EU had drawn a rebuke from Mr Tusk, who accused him of ”having ratcheted up the uncertainty facing Europe”.
· President Trump will have a working lunch with newly elected President of France, Emmanuel Macron.
· In the afternoon, Trump will speak at the unveiling of a NATO memorial in front of pieces of the Berlin Wall and the World Trade Center.
· PM…NATO Leaders Meeting and dinner. He will reaffirm America’s commitment to the alliance and repeat his insistence that for the good of the alliance, all members must share responsibility and share burden..
Secretary of Defense James Mattis will join the President before he travels to Sicily.
Here a few aspects for prayer for Europe and for President Trump visiting Brussels and meeting with NATO leaders as well as some EU leaders.
A short explanation of the EU structure with 27 member states.
· The EU Council, the EU Commissioners and the EU administration reside in Brussels. Three weeks a month, the EU parliament operates in Brussels, where most of the EU laws are designed and activities are implemented.
· The official seat of the EU-Parliament is in Strasbourg and all legal decisions of the Parliament are made in Strasbourg. Strasbourg is also the seat of the Council of Europe and the European High Court for Human Rights, with 47 member states.
· Spiritually, Strasbourg is the root and cradle of modern Europe with a lot of spiritual and strategic influence while Brussels is the operating government power and think tank. Art and architecture usually exposes the dominating spirits: the EU Parliament building in Strasbourg looks like drawings of the unfinished tower of Babel and in front of the building is a large statute of a bull (representing the highest Greek God Zeus) and a girl riding the bull (representing princess Europa who according to Greek mythology was seduced and raped by the Zeus who appeared to her in the form of a bull).
· Robert Schuman (the French founder of the European movement for peace, friendship and cooperation between France and Germany and the rest of Europe after WW2) was a God fearing man and laid very positive foundations, but the EU became dominated by secular humanism with a strong free mason influence. Hence the symbolism in Brussels is much more driven by secular humanist pride, money, success etc., all without need for God.
· However, God is at work. The number of Christians in the EU Parliament and administration is growing and in Brussels there are quite a few prayer activities within the Parliament as well as prayer houses in the city. In Strasbourg is also ongoing prayer but not as much yet as in Brussels.
· And so our prayer is that the Lord will uproot all the evil in the foundations of Europe and raise a new generation of leaders in government and administration who are filled with the spirit, anointed and without fear and who will beat the proven humanist fighters with the gifts of the spirit. (See Zech. 9,13 „I will rouse your sons, O Zion, against your (proven) sons, O Greece, and make you like the sword of a hero.“
· The current developments that lead to the Brexit (a result of prayer) and brought crisis to the EU as well as other signs and prophecies give us hope for a new season in Europe of openness to the Gospel and a holding back the emerging of an Anti-Christ government.
PRAYER POINTS:
Pray that this once “Christianized” continent, that has been so flooded with secular humanism, paganism and the occult, will be liberated and enabled to CHOOSE LIFE in CHRIST once more
In Germany and other European countries with strong secular humanist influence the media are absolutely cynical about Trump and are mocking everything Donald Trump is doing and saying. There is a lot of discrediting and lying about him going on. Pray that neither the global humanists nor the occult or the media will be able to influence or affect him in any way. Let´s pray a stop to all this nonsense!
Pray that Donald Trump and his wife will not be intimidated and that Donald is filled with a spirit of wisdom, power and authority to make his criticizers in Europe look like fools and that the lies and manipulation of the press be revealed to the public. Let President Trump will stand in the strength of the Lord and carry God’s fire into each of these meetings.
Pray also for his alliances in Europe. That good men and women partner with him and that this will be the beginning of a new quality in the relationship between Europe and USA of respect and honor in everything that God wants to be implemented between both continents. Also let the European leaders see again the godly heritage of the USA and let them become envious. God is in the foundation of Britain and also honored in the German constitution. However, in the European constitution God is not even mentioned. It is all driven by secular humanism.
Pray for the security of President and Mrs. Trump during this trip.
