Strategic Focus for Thursday
Godly UNITY between the United States and Israel – Part 1
14 The Lord said to Abram, after Lot had separated from him,
“Now lift up your eyes and look from the place where you are, northward and southward and eastward and westward; 15 for all the land which you see, I will give it to you and to your descendants forever.
16 I will make your descendants as the dust of the earth, so that if anyone can number the dust of the earth, then your descendants can also be numbered.
17 Arise, walk about the land through its length and breadth; for I will give it to you.”

Today’s prayer focus is Part 1 of 3 being offered prior to the visit of President Trump to Israel next week. This will be his first foreign trip, to Saudi Arabia, Israel, and the Vatican, concluding with stops in Brussels on May 25th and Sicily on May 26th. The President’s time in Israel precedes Jerusalem Day, May 24th, commemorating the reunification of Jerusalem, which had been divided between Jordanian and Israeli troops after the war of independence in 1947.
On the campaign trail, President Trump voiced solidly pro-Israel positions. His campaign platform made no mention of an independent Palestinian state, and he expressed support for recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and vowed to move the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. During this visit, it is anticipated that President Trump will attempt to reopen the long-stalled peace talks. God grant him WISDOM as he does!
Let us pray:
· that the advance teams from Israel and the US assigned to plan and prepare for his movements in the land will work in harmony and serve God’s purposes in all that they do
· that the right people will be in place to provide Godly counsel, to inform and serve him during this trip (and that those who are not of God will have no influence at all)
· that whatever the President does, says, commits to or agrees to will be first and foremost be in alignment with the will of God
· that his decisions will prosper and serve the best interests of both the US and Israel.
· that the President will be willing to appear at the Western Wall with PM Netanyahu
· that America will continue to be a blessing to Israel and her people. Together, we cry out: “JERUSALEM UNDIVIDED!”
And I will bless those who bless you, and the one who curses you I will curse,
and in you all the families of the earth will be blessed.”
