Praying in agreement with our President
19 “Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask,
it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven.
20 For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst.”

(Barbara Potts, who is actively engage in prayer ministry in the DC / Maryland area, wrote this. Let us read it, one portion at a time, agree with it, continuing intense intercession with and for our President at this hour!)
As I was studying President Trump’s words in his Inaugural address, I sensed it was important for us to be in agreement with him in his passionate and positive declarations. I noticed that he said, “we” (never “I”) I added “with God’s help” – which He inferred with his words – especially about God’s protection. President Trump is new in his executive role AND new at being a Christian! I sent this out to my prayer network…Barbara

As I meditated on a copy of President Trump’s inaugural address, I was drawn to the many decisive declarations that he made that will frame the future direction of America. And so I was impressed to write a response… We CAN make America great again – WITH GOD’S HELP! So let us join together in prayer in this “great national effort to rebuild our country and to restore its promise for all of our people.”
In his opening remarks, President Trump said that January 20th 2017, will be remembered as “the day of the transfer of power, when the people became the rulers of this nation again.”
Accepting this transfer of power, we agree with and declare that we, the citizens of America, are now joined together with God in a “Great national effort to rebuild our country and to restore its promise for all of our people.”
As President Trump took his oath of office, he declared an “oath of allegiance to all Americans. We share one heart, one home, and one glorious destiny.” Quoting from the Bible, President Trump said, “how good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity.” “When America is united, America is totally unstoppable.” It is written that Unity brings down the blessings from God. So Father, we ask You to pour out a Spirit of Unity across our land to bring forth the destiny that You have for America – “One nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”
President Trump “issued a new decree that ‘from this day forward, a new vision will govern our land. From this moment on, it’s going to be America First.’” Lord, will You bless, and breathe life into President Trump’s declarations:
America will start winning again, winning like never before. America will seek and secure friendship and goodwill with the nations of the world
America will reinforce old alliances and form new ones
America will unite the civilized world against radical Islamic terrorism, which will be eradicated from the face of the earth.
President Trump’s recurring theme was a “total allegiance to the (Constitutional) vision of the United States of America” and a call to patriotism and unity… “When you open our heart to patriotism, there is no room for prejudice.”“A new national pride will stir our souls, lift our sights, and heal our
divisions.” Father – will You bless, and breathe life into President Trump’s call to patriotism and unity
Together (with God’s help)…
We Will Make America Strong Again.
We Will Make America Wealthy Again.
We Will Make America Proud Again.
We Will Make America Safe Again.
Our country will thrive and prosper again
Together, We Will Make America Great Again.
In his closing remarks, President Trump declared that this country is “protected, and will always be protected by the military and law enforcement, and, most importantly, we are protected by God.”
Father – extend Your hand of mercy, grace and protection over our nation. Restore our foundation of Freedom and Liberty. And bring forth your LIFE and HEALING, so America will once again be a light shining to the nations of the world.
From a recent prophetic word from Johnny Enlow: Heaven is in a very interventionist mode with America at this time, and it is going to take some getting used to for many who don’t understand America’s assigned role among the nations. The United States was formed and fashioned with a foundation of freedom and liberty as a gift to the nations. The nations of the world were hopelessly stuck in dead-end cycles of tyranny, war, and devastation. America was and still is the interruption into those cycles, and the call extends well beyond anything we have so far seen.
Following the massacre on the Gettysburg battlefield, President Abraham Lincoln spoke these words of hope for the future of the deeply divided nation: “…that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom –– and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.”
President Trump’s Inaugural address echoes this declaration by President Lincoln: “So WE CALL FORTH a NEW BIRTH OF FREEDOM AND UNITY over THIS nation – that this new government OF THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE, and FOR THE PEOPLE will not perish from the earth!”
It is written: “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.” So Father, we pray that You will honor the declarations of President Trump and fulfill Your purposes concerning the national destiny for America, for without Your intervention to bring America back to God, we are without hope. For, as John Adams said, “Our (God-breathed) Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”
Standing with you to see our nation healed and restored to God – shining as a Light to the nations!
