Strategic Focus for Saturday
“Resistance”
“Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed,
and those who resist will incur judgment.”
At this hour, there are many individuals either intentionally or misguidedly serving the purposes of darkness, seeking to resist, undermine and ultimately overthrow Donald J. Trump, the duly elected President of the United States. The craziness seems to know no end! From the celebrities that are in America’s living rooms each night, to the grown adults running around Washington, DC with the likenesses of female body parts on their heads, or news reporters falsely reporting on White House events, when they are adamantly and admittedly leaders of the “resistance”? These are all over the top, and should be recognized and called out as such.
• “Celebrities” such as Snoop Dogg have been depicted shooting Trump in a music video.
• Madonna mentioned “blowing up the White House” during the so-called DC “Women’s March”
• Leftist “comedian” Kathy Griffin held up a likeness of President Donald Trump’s severed head for all to see, including his family!
What can be said of an entire group of people who are one-upping each other to cross the line into such “star-studded”, foul-mouthed vulgarity and insanity? Such violent resistance, vicious actions and hateful speech are downright evil, narcissistic and denote mental illness. It is damaging to our psyche as a nation and to our children and needs to stop!
Since losing the election, radical leftist Democratic Party leaders have been calling for a “Resistance Summer” (akin to Arab Spring)…and President Trump pulling us out of the Paris Climate Accord this week only enraged them more. They will NOT be confused by facts about so-called “global warming”:
• December 2008, 650-some scientists refuted the concept of global warming.
• Ivar Giaever, Nobel Prize winner for Physics, said, “Global warming has become a new religion”
• UN IPCC scientist from Japan, Dr. Kiminori Itoh, said that global warming fears are “the worst scientific scandal in the history…when people come to know what the truth is, they will feel deceived by science and scientists.”
• Environmental scientist Delgado Domingos of Portugal says, “The present alarm on climate change is an instrument of social control, a pretext for major businesses and political battle.”
Climate change, a globalist money laundering scheme to redistribute wealth, uses scare tactics of unproven and fraudulent “science” and when Trump put an end to it, saying it was “a terrible deal that crushed hardworking Americans and handed over our country’s future to global power brokers. Now those very same special interests – the fake news media, Hollywood lobbyists, and the entire corrupt establishment – are attacking us from all fronts”, the fallout became intense.
Definitions of “resistance”:
• The act or an instance of stubbornly resisting
• A force that tends to oppose or retard forward motion
• An underground (or shadow) organization engaged in a struggle for a country
• Ability to withstand a destructive agent or condition
We can disagree with governing authorities, but we’re called to honor, pray for, influence and communicate with them in a respectful way. As Christians, we need to lead the way in THIS RESISTANCE!!

• “Even in your mind do not curse the king…” Ecclesiastes 10:20
• “As free people, do not use your liberty as a covering for evil… Fear God. Honor the king.”

• “Let every person be subject to the governing authorities…render to all what is due them…respect
to whom respect is due, fear to whom fear is due, and honor to whom honor is due” Romans 13:1,7
Genesis 1:28 defines man’s role in the environment, “And God blessed them, and God said unto them, be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion…over every living thing that moves upon the earth.” And after the great flood of Noah’s time, God promised in Genesis 8:22, “While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.” Jesus said in Matthew 24:4, “Take heed that no man deceive you.”
We should not be deceived by those using fear of the earth’s destruction to create a new religion and a new social order. We should use these earthly facts and the Biblical truth to educate others about this political scam.
What is our appropriate response / RESISTANCE?
• Pray to engage with our families, in our communities, our workplace, and with our friends.
• As guided by the Holy Spirit, find the right words and the right attitudes to start conversations and make the argument about how insidiously dark and radically dangerous our society is becoming.
• Recognize the results of ineffective “church” in our own country. The problem is a sin problem resulting from not enough LIGHT shining into the darkness. We need to be that LIGHT! RESIST!
“For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God;
and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?”
