As we enter the SHABBAT call tonight, we thank God for the man He has given us to serve as our President during these trying times! We are blessed indeed as a people and as a nation!
Ps Ioan thanked God for His mercy, and asked that He be with us and speak to us tonight!
Let’s begin with receiving the full armor of God! Albert (CA) led us in that prayer!
“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. FROM JERUSALEM WATCHMEN: “BIBI NETANYAHU HAS UNDERGONE SURGERY FOR PROSTATE CANCER. The discovery of the tumor took place about 18 months ago, after a “successful surgery” for an “enlarged benign prostate,” he said. He spoke to his constituents, saying, “From you, citizens of Israel, I have only one request: Take care of your health. Get checked, and follow the doctors’ instructions.” We thank God the cancer was fully removed, and for his quick and complete recovery. May he rest securely, heal quickly, and be blessed and highly favored as the Lord allows him to lead His nation!

RE: President Trump’s trip to China: Let it be rescheduled until after the May 17th national rededication, so that he can be focused on the main event, the rededicating the nation to God! (And it was suggested that if possible, there might be a change to an intermediate meeting location, rather than Beijing.) We prayed into that!

From Genendal (GA) on Saturday, the White House Correspondents Dinner will take place, and President Trump is scheduled to attend. A letter has been signed by 250 “journalists” encouraging the WHCA to forcefully confront the President at the dinner. It accuses the President of attacking the First Amendment because he filed defamation lawsuits, showed favoritism to conservative voices, and pardoned the J6 Capitol rioters (which they claim sends the message that attacks on the press will be forgiven).
Then Daniel said to the king, “O king, live forever!
My God sent his angel and shut the lions’ mouths, and they have not harmed me,
because I was found blameless before him; and also before you, O king, I have done no harm.”
Then the king was exceedingly glad, and commanded that Daniel be taken up out of the den.

US envoys (Witkoff and Kushner) to depart tomorrow morning for Iran talks in Pakistan on Sunday
President Trump is dispatching Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner to Islamabad to hold talks on Sunday with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, who already arrived in Pakistan on Friday. This follows earlier unsuccessful rounds of talks and a recent two-week ceasefire extension, with an indefinite extension to the ceasefire now in place. A planned round earlier this week was canceled due to the lack of a unified response by the regime. Both Vice President JD Vance and Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf are on standby but not traveling to Pakistan until there are signs of progress between Aragchi and US envoys. Araghchi’s visit is described as brief, focused on simply conveying Iran’s proposals to the US via Pakistani mediators. Araghchi also plans stops in Oman and Russia. Lord, have mercy, and let him make the right decision to stop the conflict in a way that this threat is taken down for good!
Audrey (CA) said they have several members of their congregation who are serving in that arena, and they have been deployed longer than their families had expected. She prayed for DIVINE ENCOURAGEMENT for the service members and their loved ones! No discouragement, no fear, just faith-filled prayers!

Ps Ioan said that as he listened to these prayers for our military, he thought of this: On March 10, 1864, Union General Ulysses S. Grant was promoted to Lieutenant General and, “…assigned to the command of the armies of the United States.” Only two men in the history of the United States had previously held that position: George Washington and Winfield Scott, though Scott’s commission was by brevet. Now, Grant answered only to President Lincoln. He earned this prestigious title through key victories in the western theater, including the capture of Vicksburg on July 4, 1863, and the Union triumph at Chattanooga that November. Later, he became the nation’s first four-star general.
We rejoice that all that is taking place with our military is intended to build up, not tear down…and to bring about PEACE throughout the world!

We then looked at the words of the Birkat haMinim (the 12th “Blessing” in the Shmone Esrei) declared three times daily… as a “prayer”…but is actually a “curse” against Messianic believers.

and uproot the kingdom of arrogance (malkhut zadon),speedily and in our days.
May the Nazarenes (ha-naẓarim / noṣrim/notzrim) and the sectarians (minim) perish as in a moment.
Let them be blotted out of the book of life, and not be written together with the righteous.
You are praised, O Lord, who subdues the arrogant.”
Blessing Twelve: HaMinim – Against Heretics
This “blessing,” originally the nineteenth of the Amidah, was instituted at the council of Yavneh sometime after the destruction of the Second Temple, and was composed in response to the Essenes and early Messianic believers in Yeshua the Messiah.
Note that in its present form, this blessing does not seem to target Messianic Jewish believers (the key word “lamalshinim” is normally rendered “for the slanderers”), but the Talmud (Berakhot 28b-29a) states that the original form of this blessing had the term laminim, which is rendered “for the sectarians,” which was generally understood to be the Essenes and Messianic Jews of that time. “If the chazan makes a mistake in any other of the blessings they do not remove him, but if he makes a mistake when saying the Birkat HaMinim they remove him because he is suspected of being a min himself.” (Berakhot 28b).
In short, the “blessing” was used as a sort of litmus test by the Rabbinics: a Messianic Jew could faithfully recite the other eighteen blessings of the Amidah but could hardly invoke a curse on followers of Yeshua the Messiah. (In this way, persons not reciting the Birkat HaMinim were suspected of heresy and subject to cherem …excommunication).

We believe that this is the time when President Trump can cause this cursing to be taken out of their daily prayers. Let it be ended, so that the people of Israel can be freed from it! Let someone speak with the President on this soon, so that this deliverance can come! Give someone access to Marco Rubio, who can explain this to President Trump! (Ps Ioan had previously told us that part of his role in the USA is to proclaim the revival among the Jews. He explained how current-day Judaism is not the same as the Judaism of the Bible. After determining the authenticity of the photo, the Israel Defense Forces launched an investigation. Its findings concluded “the soldiers’ conduct completely deviated from IDF orders and values.” The IDF said it had removed from combat duty both the soldier who damaged the statue and the one who filmed the act, sentencing them to 30 days in military prison.

RE: Senate GOP Advances ICE / Border Patrol Funding Amid DHS Shutdown
As an alternative to nuking the filibuster, Senate Republicans passed a $70 billion budget blueprint early Thursday via an alternative strategy called reconciliation (50-48 vote) to fully fund ICE and Border Patrol for the rest of President Trump’s term. (This bypassed Democrats after an all-night session with failed Democratic amendments.) It aims to end the partial DHS shutdown that began in mid-February over policy disputes following fatal shootings of protesters. The bill is now likely to pass the House, thanks to the strong Republican majority and unity under Speaker Mike Johnson, who has prioritized funding ICE and Border Patrol first and indicated the chamber will take up the reconciliation measure promptly in order to resolve the shutdown.
