“A CALL TO THE WALL…ONE NATION UNDER GOD”

1-712-770-4340   Code:  543555 #

We begin the hour today by praising and giving thanks to God

“Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.”

James 4:10

We sing:

“Humble thyself in the sight of the Lord! Humble thyself in the sight of the Lord!

And He shall lift you up…higher and higher…and He shall lift you up!

Humble thyself in the sight of the Lord!  Humble thyself in the sight of the Lord!

And He shall lift you up…higher and higher…and He shall lift you up!”

The key assignment for the 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call is to intercede hourly for the safety and security of our President, Donald John Trump, and to pray for that which pertains to our nation!

We pray for our President’s protection and cover him with the Blood of Jesus,

asking that he will respond to every situation by the leading of the Holy Spirit.

We refer those to You who are plotting and planning the demise of our beloved President!

We say “No!” to them and ask that You expose and foil all their plans! Thank You, Lord!

We bless our First Lady, Melania, their marriage, their son Barron and all their family members.

We bless our Vice President Mike Pence, his wife Karen and their family

and all those serving in this Administration.

We bless the Federal Reserve Board members.

May they serve with integrity and honor, doing what’s right for our nation’s economy!

The 24/7 NSPC is praying for the 2020 National Elections,

positioning ourselves in intercession before the Lord on behalf of our President and nation!

COUNTDOWN: 401 days until the election!

Let us pray into this verse:

“By humility and the fear of the Lord are riches and honor and life.”

Proverbs 22:4

Strategic Focus for Monday

WELCOME THE KING OF GLORY INTO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

A CALL FOR A NATIONAL DAY OF REPENTANCE – Part 1

“When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land,

or send pestilence among My people,

if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face,

and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land

Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to prayer made in this place.

For now I have chosen and sanctified this house, that My name may be there forever;

and My eyes and My heart will be there perpetually.”

2 Chronicles 7:13-16

Vice President Mike Pence has frequently quoted 2 Chronicles 7:14. He seems to be asking the Body of Christ to come together, fall on our knees, and confess the sin of the nation, repenting corporately, with ONE VOICE before God. Once that is done, God says he will hear us, forgive us and heal our land! Simple enough, but in order to do that, we must first be convicted of our sin, and be willing to repent, not just give “lip service”!

“These people draw near to Me with their mouth, and honor Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me.”

Matthew 15:8

We have truly become one in this ministry of the 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call, and through that unity, God has cultivated a deep and profound love for one another, for our President and for our nation. That “anointing of love” has enabled us to be able to pray effectively for our nation as we engage in a WARFARE OF LOVE.

Now God is asking us if we are willing to receive the burden of “conviction of the sin of this nation” in our hearts. As we agree, we will be empowered to pray effectively in repentance for our nation!

We pray:

  • Lord, we ask that You would birth in our hearts a conviction of the sin of our nation and then allow us to come corporately before You, from all across this nation, be convicted, and earnestly confess and repent for our nation’s sins…so that You, Who hear Your children’s cry, will heal our land!

There is a great concern among many leaders that the Body of Christ is not seeing the danger being posed by the conspiracy operating against not only our President but the United States of America at this very hour! Americans are distracted by a never-ending stream of “urgent” matters, while the media floods the airwaves 24/7 with “fake news” in an attempt to control our minds and instill fear in our hearts!   What is taking place is not only against the President and his Administration; this plot is also against individuals and families, churches and communities. It is an all-out war against the American way of life…and it has already been launched! We, The People” are under attack! Without God’s intervention and the Body of Christ being willing to fight in prayer, what future have we in the USA?

We sing:

“Lord, have mercy on us, come and heal our land.  Cleanse with Your fire, heal with Your touch,

humbly we bow and call upon You now… O Lord, have mercy on us!  O Lord, have mercy on us!”

Tony Evans, pastor of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship in Dallas is one American who has recognized the need for a national, corporate repentance.  His message speaks for itself!

“Fellow pastors, the turmoil, corruption, inequity and distress we are experiencing in our nation today can be addressed. It can be reversed. Our culture can be transformed. Will it take humbling ourselves before the Lord? Yes. Will it take concerted and united prayer? Yes. Will it take an awakening in the body of Christ? Yes. However, all these things are possible if we will return to God’s Word, principles and precepts as the basis for our lives and seek His face and fire on behalf of ourselves, families, churches and land.

Nothing is too far gone or out of reach that God cannot revive it. Yet, in order to turn our nation to God, we – His people – must make a collective effort to return to Him first.

Revivals do not happen spontaneously. Awakenings do not happen unknowingly. Rather, they are first conceived in people’s hearts, then fed through prayer and fasting, which then give birth to the organization of and call for localized and collective solemn assemblies, thereby giving way to lasting transformation.

Whenever a solemn assembly or sacred gathering was called in Scripture, it often was called by those in leadership, whether that was a priest, prophet or king. Often it first would be called for a specific, smaller leadership sphere before spreading to the entire nation. In America, our historical records verify that prior to every national awakening, the spiritual leadership of the day placed a heavy emphasis on fasting and gathering for times of solemn assemblies, typically in smaller groups that then led to larger gatherings.

During its inception, God often will speak to people in separate locations, giving them a similar vision of the need for this type of gathering. As a result, synergy arises between denominations and leadership that might not have been there before.

A solemn assembly for the purpose of restoration is a sacred gathering in which God’s people, during a specific time of fasting and prayer, seek the renewal of their relationship with Him through the repentance of sin and the passionate pursuit of the return of His presence in their midst. It also can be defined as a specific move of God, by His Holy Spirit, through His leadership where He gathers the saints to Himself.

Biblical history is replete with a similar theme of the assembling of the saints and God’s subsequent restoration. After all, God has a heart for reconciliation. From the garden in Genesis to heaven in Revelation, God ushers a call repeatedly for reconciliation prior to issuing judgment. He is swift to spare if we will ask Him for new hearts and new spirits. This is His prescribed pathway to seeing hope restored and lives transformed.

“Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways,” says the Lord God.

“Repent, and turn from all your transgressions, so that iniquity will not be your ruin.

Castaway from you all the transgressions which you have committed,

and get yourselves a new heart and a new spirit. For why should you die, O house of Israel?”

Ezekiel  18:30-31

It is time we called the body of Christ together for a national, solemn assembly in order to seek God’s hand of healing in our land.”

We pray:

  • In thanksgiving for those leaders who are hearing what the Spirit is saying to the Church and are calling us to repentance! Let us agree quickly with You ”It seems good to the Holy Spirit and us!” Acts 15:28, and obey, following the “pathway” that You have established, so that our sin is forgiven, our national relationship with You is restored and our land is healed! AMEN!

During the Civil War, as President Abraham Lincoln struggled to mend a war-torn nation and recenter Americans around God and prayer, he issued a proclamation on March 30, 1863, calling for a  “Day of National Humiliation, Fasting, and Prayer.”  The text of Lincoln’s remarkable proclamation has both pertinent and pointed lessons for today, when our nation is once again deeply divided. This proclamation repeatedly references God, calls on Americans to turn back to prayer and acknowledges the importance that God plays in human affairs. It was indeed a “call to repent before God” which is appropriate for us today. May God help us hear it with all our hearts as we read it reflectively, taking time to soak up every word.

Lincoln's Call to National Repentance 1

“Whereas, the Senate of the United States, devoutly recognizing the Supreme Authority and just Government of Almighty God, in all the affairs of men and of nations, has, by a resolution, requested the President to designate and set apart a day for National prayer and humiliation.

And whereas it is the duty of nations as well as of men, to own their dependence upon the overruling power of God, to confess their sins and transgressions, in humble sorrow, yet with assured hope that genuine repentance will lead to mercy and pardon; and to recognize the sublime truth, announced in the Holy Scriptures and proven by all history, that those nations only are blessed whose God is the Lord.

And, insomuch as we know that, by His divine law, nations like individuals are subjected to punishments and chastisements in this world, may we not justly fear that the awful calamity of civil war, which now desolates the land, maybe but a punishment, inflicted upon us, for our presumptuous sins, to the needful end of our national reformation as a whole People?

We have been the recipients of the choicest bounties of Heaven. We have been preserved, these many years, in peace and prosperity. We have grown in numbers, wealth and power, as no other nation has ever grown. But we have forgotten God. We have forgotten the gracious hand which preserved us in peace, and multiplied and enriched and strengthened us; and we have vainly imagined, in the deceitfulness of our hearts, that all these blessings were produced by some superior wisdom and virtue of our own. Intoxicated with unbroken success, we have become too self-sufficient to feel the necessity of redeeming and preserving grace, too proud to pray to the God that made us! It behooves us then, to humble ourselves before the offended Power, to confess our national sins, and to pray for clemency and forgiveness.

Now, therefore, in compliance with the request, and fully concurring in the views of the Senate, I do, by this my proclamation, designate and set apart Thursday, the 30th day of April, 1863, as a day of national humiliation, fasting and prayer. And I do hereby request all the People to abstain, on that day, from their ordinary secular pursuits, and to unite, at their several places of public worship and their respective homes, in keeping the day holy to the Lord, and devoted to the humble discharge of the religious duties proper to that solemn occasion.

All this being done, in sincerity and truth, let us then rest humbly in the hope authorized by the Divine teachings, that the united cry of the Nation will be heard on high, and answered with blessings, no less than the pardon of our national sins, and the restoration of our now divided and suffering Country, to its former happy condition of unity and peace.  In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the United States to be affixed.”

By the President: Abraham Lincoln

 We pray:

  • That we gain a clear understanding of what You are calling us to, and will heed these verses!

“The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom, and before honor is humility.”  Proverbs 15:33

“Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time.”  1 Peter 5:6

  • That President Trump will hear what the Spirit is saying to the Church and lead us in a National Day of Repentance.
