Sep 25, 2020 – Prayer Focus
Friday, September 25, 2020 – The 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call
“A CALL TO THE WALL…ONE NATION UNDER GOD”
1-712-770-4340 Code: 543555 # (Ongoing call…24 hours a day!)
We begin our hour by praising and giving thanks to God!
“Return, O Israel, to the LORD your God,
for you have stumbled because of your iniquity.”
Hosea 14:1
We sing: Come Back to Me
Come back to me with all your heart, don’t let fear keep us apart.
Trees do bend, though straight and tall; so must we to others’ call.
Long have I waited for your coming home to me and living deeply our new life.
The wilderness will lead you to your heart where I will speak.
Integrity and justice, with tenderness you shall know.
Long have I waited for your coming home to me and living deeply our new life.
You shall sleep secure with peace; faithfulness will be your joy.
Long have I waited for your coming home to me and living deeply our new life.
Long have I waited for your coming home to me and living deeply our new life.

The key assignment for the 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call is to intercede hourly for the safety and security of our President, Donald John Trump, and to pray for that which pertains to our nation!
We pray for our President’s protection and cover him with the Blood of Jesus.
We ask that he respond to every situation by the leading of the Holy Spirit!
We say “No!” to those planning his demise, and ask You to expose and foil all their evil plans!
We ask for angelic beings to be stationed to stand guard over and protect the WHITE HOUSE,
and for open doors, to be able to ask the President to call our people to a National Day of Repentance.
We pray for ourselves and our loved ones, as we put on the full armor of God!
We pray specifically for our sister, Repeka Nuusa (CO) who’s been given a diagnosis only God can reverse.
We pray for the coronavirus to be taken down by Almighty God…no second wave…no more spikes…
just the full and complete destruction of the virus in the United States!
We bless our First Lady, Melania, their marriage, their son Barron and all their family members
We bless our Vice President Mike Pence, his wife Karen and their family
and all those serving in this Administration.
We pray for the mass media, which is being used and exploited by the “father of lies.”
We ask that it either reverses course and reports accurately, or be taken down.
We pray for the Federal Reserve Board members, to use their power to boost our nation’s economy.
Let them act in accord with what is good for the USA!
The 24/7 NSPC is praying for the 2020 National Elections, positioning ourselves in intercession
before the Lord, asking for a LANDSLIDE VICTORY for President Donald John Trump!
COUNTDOWN: 40 days until the election!
Let us pray into this verse:
“If you return to the Almighty, you will be built up; you will remove iniquity far from your tents.”
Job 22:23
Strategic Focus for Friday
WELCOME THE KING OF GLORY INTO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
ONE NATION UNDER GOD, INDIVISIBLE, WITH LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL!
The Remnant Shall Return
“So rend your heart, and not your garments; return to the Lord your God, for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness; and He relents from doing harm.”
Joel 2:13
Today, in Washington, DC, final preparations are being made for the public events scheduled there tomorrow, both on-site and through worldwide broadcasts. We lift up the organizers of the events, in particular of THE RETURN, and PRAYER MARCH 2020, asking that all are blessed and protected as they and their participants bring their prayers before the King of Kings on behalf of our nation!
Pray as the Spirit leads for each of these events.
We are in a series about “Repentance” – our primary focus at this critical hour in our nation’s history! God is calling His people to “come back to Him with all our hearts”… not to “let fear keep us apart.” That is the very essence of the message of these Ten Days of Awe…and we are urged and exhorted to remember, to repent and to return! His scepter is extended to us…and He is pouring out quantities of grace beyond measure! Our part is to believe, respond and receive!
“At this present time there is a remnant according to the election of grace. And if by grace, then it is no longer of work””
Romans 11:5-6
Pray.
As we continue to learn together on our repentance journey, we turn our attention to Shear-Jashub, someone in the Bible who may not be well-known…but he is the son of one who is quickly recognized…Isaiah, the prophet.
The Lord said to Isaiah, “Go out now to meet Ahaz, you and Shear-Jashub your son”
Isaiah 7:3
Isaiah took his son Shear-Jashub with him to meet King Ahaz, the ruler during that time. Ahaz was facing a crisis in his nation; his enemies were surrounding him, ready to attack from outside and within…(the king of Syria from outside and the king of Israel, one of his own family, from within) intending to bring his kingdom down. It was a time not unlike our own! Pray.
The name Shear-Jashub means “the remnant shall return”…and God’s promise for this season…despite the push back from the enemy around us…is the same! In our case, “to return” means “repenting and humbling ourselves before God”. Shear-Jashub’s name also symbolized how God saved a remnant of Judah, when Israel was cast away.
The name Isaiah means “Yahweh has saved.” Repentance brings salvation, and like Isaiah, when we walk in the salvation of the Lord, we walk by faith, not by what we see or the difficulties of our limited circumstances. Certainly, the enemies that we face are real and threatening…however, we hold on to the promises of God by faith. In the following verse Isaiah admonishes King Ahaz (and us) to “take heed, and be quiet; do not fear or be fainthearted” Isaiah 7:4. We are to guard our hearts and control our emotions, to be still and rest in Him…and have NO FEAR!
We pray:
- Lord, help us to realize that You are waiting for us to wake up, rise up and return to You. Let us have no other priority these days than to achieve that goal. Pray.
Isaiah encouraged the frightful King Ahaz to ask for a “sign” in his crisis…and “sign” is the same word for “miracle” in the Bible. The Lord encourages us to ask for a miracle in the time of crisis.
”But Ahaz said, “I will not ask, nor will I test the Lord!”
Isaiah 7:12
Asking for a miracle is not testing or tempting God as Ahaz thought…it is an act of faith. Many believers repeat the same mistake today. They don’t ask for a sign or miracle, thinking they should not “test” God or bother Him with their issues. (when actually, many of us try and solve our own issues…which is even worse.) We do not ask for miracles because we don’t trust God to do them!
Remember how Jesus said that He couldn’t do many miracles in Nazareth because of their unbelief. In yet another instance, when the boat was rocking and the disciples were panicking, Jesus spoke to the storm and calmed it, then asked them: “Where is your faith?” Since Ahaz refused to “ask” for a miracle, the Lord Himself “gave” one – the sign of Immanuel.
“Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.”
Isaiah 7:14
We who are in Christ carry the “sign” of Immanuel…which means “God with us”…everywhere we go! It is not just a promise; we already have it. All we need to do is activate that “sign”…which is His Presence…by faith.
He has promised to be with us always….and just as the Father called the Israelites back to Himself in Hosea 14:1
“Return, O Israel, to the LORD your God, For you have stumbled because of your iniquity”
Jesus is calling us to Himself!
“The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.”
2 Peter 3:9
We pray:
- That we will willingly and joyfully surrender every area of our lives to the Lord…our families, our relationships, our ministries, our careers, possessions, dreams and hopes…committing it all to Him! Pray.
There is another sign Jesus spoke about: the sign of Jonah.
“He answered and said to them, “When it is evening you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red’; and in the morning, ‘It will be foul weather today, for the sky is red and threatening.’ Hypocrites! You know how to discern the face of the sky, but you cannot discern the signs of the times.”
Matthew 16:2-3
People follow a lot of signs on a daily basis. Weather reports or weather apps are used, so that based on the weather forecast, we know if it is going to rain or snow and we can plan ahead! But there is a sign that Jesus wants us to be more concerned about.
“A wicked and adulterous generation seeks after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonah.”
Matthew 16:4
We face the same dilemma today. We plan our day ahead by faith in the forecasts, but we don’t exercise faith in God as much like we do the weather. We have faith for everything except believing the whole gospel. This is the fight we face on a daily basis in life. Those who stay connected to God can discern the opportune time for miracles and supernatural miracles that is available to us through Christ.
There are two categories of people that keep seeking for more signs. The wicked generation and the adulterous generation. This pretty much distinguishes the two groups of people in the world.
- The wicked one is the unregenerate or those who are not born-again. They are in bondage to the god of this world, and have not yet “heard’ the call into salvation.
- The second group is the adulterous generation…they have a spouse but are unfaithful to Him! Christians who are not fully committed to God are compared to adulterers…God is a part of their lives… but not the center. Thus, they are not fully committed to Him. They may call themselves “believers” and may go to church, but they lack faithfulness because they continually nurture other love relationships…and He is a jealous God! Pray.
So what is the sign of Jonah? Jonah is famous for being thrown into the sea… at his own request…then swallowed up and preserved in the belly of a big fish for three days. Later, at God’s command, he was spit out safely. Jonah’s experience parallels Jesus’s death, burial and resurrection…he was in the belly of the fish for three days, and Jesus was buried and resurrected from the dead on the third day. The message and the power of the gospel is the sign of Jonah.
Jesus underwent the same process as Jonah, and all who faithfully follow Jesus will go through a death, burial and resurrection process. This is the mystery of the gospel. That gospel works in our lives on a daily basis…causing us to repent for our sins, die to ourselves, live for Christ and to carry our crosses as we walk in resurrection power daily. May we allow that power to work in and through us every moment! Pray.
Jesus is God-Man, conceived by the Spirit and born of a woman, to dwell with us, teaching and training those who gathered around Him, showing them (and us) the way to a restored relationship with the Father! When we embrace the gospel in its fullness, our lives don’t need any other signs but these two: the sign of Immanuel and sign of Jonah. They are more than enough for a person to live a victorious life here on earth.
God so loved the world that He gave these signs to the believers and unregenerate alike, that whosoever believes in Him shall live life to the fullest in Christ on earth. Unfortunately, in a fallen world we tend to go in circles and keep seeking for more signs because of our lack of understanding of the scriptures and our unbelief.
God favors those who are in a relationship of trust with Him. A person who lives as a fully surrendered son walks in obedience and trusts the Lord. “TRUST and OBEY for there’s no other way…”
Having been received by the Lord through the spirit of adoption, we no longer depend on our own strength, or will or flesh. Our life depends on the power of the resurrected Christ living within us! Let us lay hold of these signs / miracles: His Presence (the sign of Immanuel) and the power of his death and resurrection (the sign of Jonah).
We pray:
- Lord, give us the humility to receive, believe and walk in the signs / miracles that You have given us and let them be fully activated and operative in our lives today. Pray.
- Teach our President to TRUST and OBEY, so he can walk in that fullness and be inspired as he senses Your Presence with him every day. Pray.
- Surround President Trump, our Vice President Mike Pence, and all who are rightly aligned with You in our government, with ministering angels who will protect and guard them! Pray.
- May we all enjoy eternal life…here and now…as we walk in the heavenly realm here on earth each day. Pray.
