Saturday, September 21, 2019 – The 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call

“A CALL TO THE WALL…ONE NATION UNDER GOD”

1-712-770-4340 Code: 543555 #

We begin the hour today by praising and giving thanks to God

“Oh come, let us worship and bow down (shachah), let us kneel before the Lord our Maker.

For He is our God, and we are the people of His pasture, and the sheep of His hand.”

Psalm 95:6-7

“Shachah!” is Hebrew for “worship and bow down! ”

We sing:

“Come let us worship and bow down… (shachah)

Let us kneel before the Lord, our God, our Savior!

Come let us worship and bow down…(shachah)

Let us kneel before the Lord, our God, our Savior!

For He is our God and we are the people of His pasture, we’re the sheep of His hand,

yes, the sheep of His hand!”

The key assignment for the 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call is to intercede hourly for the safety and security of our President, Donald John Trump, and to pray for that which pertains to our nation!

We pray for our President’s protection and cover him with the Blood of Jesus,

asking that he will respond to every situation by the leading of the Holy Spirit

and not allow himself to be provoked into going to war with Iran or any other nation!

We refer those to You who are plotting and planning the demise of our beloved President!

We say “No!” to them and ask that You expose and foil all their plans! Thank You, Lord!

We bless our First Lady, Melania, their marriage, their son Barron and all their family members.

We bless our Vice President Mike Pence, his wife Karen and their family

and all those serving in this Administration.

We bless the Federal Reserve Board members

May they serve with integrity and honor, doing what’s right for our nation’s economy!

The 24/7 NSPC is praying for the 2020 National Elections,

positioning ourselves in intercession before the Lord on behalf of our President and nation!

COUNTDOWN: 410 days until the election!

Let us pray into this verse:

“Do your best to preserve the unity which the Spirit gives

by means of the peace that binds you together.”

Ephesians 4:3

God’s Battle Plan

“…when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushes against the people

of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; and they were defeated.

2 Chronicles 20:22

President Trump has often expressed his faith in God, both publicly and privately! Those who have met with and prayed for and with him have shared both his sincerity of faith and his childlike innocence before God! Every day, he must weigh and discern that which comes before him, and make crucial decisions about major issues confronting the US and our allies!

With all the attacks on his character, actions and decisions, and the myriad of attempts to undermine him from those in both parties, it is critical that we, who have been “called to the wall” of this nation in intercession, continue to cover him with the Blood of Jesus and surround him in prayer, encouraging him to stand strong…through it all!

On the international scene, we are praying that he will not allow the US to be provoked to go to war with Iran. We are also watching what is taking place in the elections in Israel and praying into the anticipated Israeli Peace Plan, which is expected to be announced in the near future! We stand firmly with Israel and against any division of the land! This is a serious issue…one which requires intense prayer.

In 2017, Representative Louie Gohmert (R-TX) said of a proposed two-state solution: I can’t vote for the resolution, when we are advocating what Joel 3 says will bring judgment down upon our nation for trying to partition Israel. Can’t do it.”

The Old Testament chapter cited by Gohmert prophesies that, after God has brought back His exiled people to their land, He will judge all nations for scattering them and for dividing His land.

Yesterday, we looked at a map showing the key areas in Israel where both Jews and Arabs had settled, and saw how much of the Holy Land has been occupied by Arabs, who have presented themselves as “Palestinians” but have no rights to the land. The word Palestine (Arabic: فلسطين‎ Filasṭīn), as the country is called in Arabic, is not Palestinian‑Arab in origin (the Arabs of the region rarely used it before 1948). Filastin” refers to the biblical “Philistines” whose name the ancient Romans gave to the country in an attempt to obliterate the Jews’ connection to it.The PLO (Palestine Liberation Organization) purports to represent the Palestinian people, and is recognized by the UN as such!

We have a situation where two groups are claiming the same land, one which has been given their rights by God, the other demanding theirs in the name of their god. Those like President Trump, who are trying to resolve the situation and bring peace to the region, are facing a problem that has almost no hope of a satisfactory resolution, especially if they want to remain in alignment with the Word of God and not divide the land! What is the answer?

Let us look at 2 Chronicles 20:1-30, which tells us how another leader, King Jehoshaphat, dealt with a similar situation! Read each scripture portion, then pray into it with the current situation in Israel and the escalating conflict with Iran in mind.

“It happened after this that the people of Moab with the people of Ammon, and others with them besides the Ammonites, came to battle against Jehoshaphat. Then some came and told Jehoshaphat, saying, “A great multitude is coming against you from beyond the sea, from Syria; and they are in Hazazon Tamar” (which is En Gedi). And Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek the Lord, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah. So Judah gathered together to ask help from the Lord; and from all the cities of Judah they came to seek the Lord.

We pray

Then Jehoshaphat stood in the assembly of Judah and Jerusalem, in the house of the Lord, before the new court, and said: “O Lord God of our fathers, are You not God in heaven, and do You not rule over all the kingdoms of the nations, and in Your hand is there not power and might, so that no one is able to withstand You? Are You not our God, who drove out the inhabitants of this land before Your people Israel, and gave it to the descendants of Abraham Your friend forever? And they dwell in it, and have built You a sanctuary in it for Your name, saying, ‘If disaster comes upon us – sword, judgment, pestilence, or famine – we will stand before this temple and in Your presence (for Your name is in this temple), and cry out to You in our affliction, and You will hear and save.’

We pray:

And now, here are the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir – whom You would not let Israel invade when they came out of the land of Egypt, but they turned from them and did not destroy them – here they are, rewarding us by coming to throw us out of Your possession which You have given us to inherit. O our God, will You not judge them? For we have no power against this great multitude that is coming against us; nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are upon You.”

We pray:

Now all Judah, with their little ones, their wives, and their children, stood before the Lord. Then the Spirit of the Lord came upon Jahaziel the son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, a Levite of the sons of Asaph, in the midst of the assembly. And he said, “Listen, all you of Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you, King Jehoshaphat! Thus says the Lord to you: ‘Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s. Tomorrow go down against them. They will surely come up by the Ascent of Ziz, and you will find them at the end of the brook before the Wilderness of Jeruel. You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem!’ Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, for the Lord is with you.” And Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground, and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem bowed before the Lord, worshiping the Lord. Then the Levites of the children of the Kohathites and of the children of the Korahites stood up to praise the Lord God of Israel with voices loud and high.

We pray:

So they rose early in the morning and went out into the Wilderness of Tekoa; and as they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Hear me, O Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem: Believe in the Lord your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper. And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed those who should sing to the Lord, and who should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army and were saying: “Praise the Lord, For His mercy endures forever.” Now when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushes against the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; and they were defeated

We pray:

The people of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of Mount Seir to utterly kill and destroy them. And when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, they helped to destroy one another. So when Judah came to a place overlooking the wilderness, they looked toward the multitude; and there were their dead bodies, fallen on the earth. No one had escaped. When Jehoshaphat and his people came to take away their spoil, they found among them an abundance of valuables on the dead bodies, and precious jewelry, which they stripped off for themselves, more than they could carry away; and they were three days gathering the spoil because there was so much

We pray:

And on the fourth day they assembled in the Valley of Berachah, (“blessing”) for there they blessed the Lord; therefore the name of that place was called The Valley of Berachah until this day. Then they returned, every man of Judah and Jerusalem, with Jehoshaphat in front of them, to go back to Jerusalem with joy, for the Lord had made them rejoice over their enemies. So they came to Jerusalem, with stringed instruments and harps and trumpets, to the house of the Lord. And the fear of God was on all the kingdoms of those countries when they heard that the Lord had fought against the enemies of Israel. Then the realm of Jehoshaphat was quiet, for his God gave him rest all around.”

Specific Prayer Topic for Today

Praying for the Mass Media in our Nation

The latest “media mass hysteria” over a whistleblower’s complaint that “reportedly involved allegations President Trump made a troubling and unspecified ‘promise’ to a foreign leader” is based on precious little information. That has not stopped journalists from convicting Trump in the court of public opinion and predicting his imminent demise.

We pray:

  • Enough is enough! We say “NO!” and ask You, Lord, to shut their mouths…and cause their tongues to stick to the roofs of their mouths!
