Sep 13, 2022 – Notes A Call to the Wall

Sep 13, 2022 – Notes A Call to the Wall

09-13-22 “A Call to the Wall…to Pray for our President” 8-10 PM ET Tuesdays

24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call 712-770-4340 code: 543555 #

As we opened the call, we thanked God that He is on the Throne and in control, for we certainly are not! The entire nation is reeling and suffering from the inept faux government that is in power in DC, destroying and dismantling our country piece by piece! We cry out to God for rescue and restoration as we put on the armor He has provided us for this battle! We pray to receive the Ephesians 6 armor that God has so graciously given us.

“Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day

and having done all, to stand.

 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness,

and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.

And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God;

praying always, with all prayer and supplication, in the Spirit.”

Ephesians 6:13-18

We prayed corporately to receive…and wear the full armor of God with the dignity and grace it deserves.

Today, the Stock Market crashed several hundred points, causing alarm and reactions across the nation!

 This is a statement issued by President Trump today:

“Another, “I told you so-o-o.” The Stock Market is now, on top of everything else, CRASHING!!! One of the worst seven days in history, one of the worst years in history – and it will only get worse. Wasteful Green New Deal, and other, SPENDING! Interest rates will have to go way up in order to combat record INFLATION. The Fed no longer has a choice. This was all self-inflicted, no rhyme or reason. See what difference a Rigged Election can make? Like much else (Ukraine), should never have happened!!”

We prayed into this:

  • Danielle (SC) Your Kingdom of LIGHT will prevail and You will finish what You have started
  • Tommie (ID) I am reminded of when David was in the cave of Abdullah and his army started to rally around him. Send those to surround our President who will stand with him and fight for this nation!
  • Sharon (Paraguay) prayed into this matter!
  • Richard (AK) let us see the things that are wrong in this nation and get to the root of it, so we might be restored!

We are reminded that over ½ of the country voted for President Trump, and we agree that this election was stolen from us! We must resist this evil and fight for the USA against this enemy who is trying to destroy our nation! We pray for courage, bravery, boldness, and strength for the Children of LIGHT!

We prayed for the economy.

  • Bobby (WI) Thwart the plans of the enemy to destroy this nation and let us remember that You are with us!
  • Viviana (NY) We agree that people must be strong and bold in this hour. We hold the title deed to the USA and as the lesser magistrates, we take it back in the spirit realm and ask that the decree for that come from the Courts of Heaven. We pray for President Trump’s staff and allies who are being persecuted! Let the Special Magistrate step in and not allow anything found at Mar-A-Lago be used in the wrong way!
  • Mary Ellen (IL) No matter what we see, let us remember that You are in control! Let these things taking place cause the people to clamor for President Trump to be put back in office! Stir it up, Lord, so that claim is loud! Prior to today, many refused to take a stand, and now is the time to rise up!!
  • Danielle (SC) We are dealing with a form of Babylon, and are in a war for the souls of men. Laws are being flagrantly violated. As Cyrus ended the Babylonian captivity in his era. Trump will be put in place as a Cyrus to end the captivity at this hour!
  • Mary Ellen (IL) also saw Nehemiah seeing the devastation of Jerusalem, and President Trump will be rebuilding our nation…as we work, praise and worship and rebuild the wall!

Pastor Ioan shared the following with us, about the 13 Merciful Attibutes that the Lord revealed:

Elul and Selichot – The Season of Teshuvah (Today is the 18th day of Elul)

Selichot Services … The Hebrew word “selichah” colloquially means “forgiveness,” though in the Hebrew Scriptures it refers exclusively to God’s offer of pardon and forgiveness of the repentant sinner. For instance, in Psalm 130:4 we read, “But with you there is forgiveness (selichah), that you may be feared”.

The plural form of the word “selichah” is “selichot,” a word traditionally used to refer to additional prayers for forgiveness recited during the month of Elul (through Yom Kippur). These prayers and poems for mercy are usually recited before dawn, before the daily shacharit (morning) service (you can obtain a Selichot prayerbook at any good Jewish bookstore). The list of the Thirteen Attributes of God’s Mercy

(Shelosh Esrei Middot shel Rachamim) are the primary focus of the prayers, based on the Talmud’s statement that “Whenever the nation of Israel sins, let them pray this prayer (i.e., the Thirteen Attributes) and I shall forgive them” (Rosh Hashanah 17b).

In general, Selichot services are intended to inspire us to consider the direction of our lives and to undergo teshuvah. In Sephardic tradition, Selichot services begin at the start of Elul and run until Yom Kippur (similar to the 40 days Moses spent on Mount Sinai), though in the Ashkenazic tradition, they are recited late (i.e., midnight) on Saturday night before Rosh Hashanah.

Some of the prayers and music for the Selichot service are taken from the services for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, providing a transition between the “old year” and the New Year. A Chassidic tradition holds that the last twelve days of the year (i.e., Elul 18 to 29) correspond to the twelve months of the closing year: on each of these twelve days, the penitent should review the deeds and achievements of its corresponding month.

Appealing to God’s Compassion…After the Jews had committed the grievous sin with the Golden Calf, Moses despaired of the Jews ever being able to find favor in God’s eyes again. God, however (as explained in the Talmud (Tractate Rosh Hashanah 17b)) donned a tallit, and, in the role of a chazzan, showed Moses the order of the Thirteen Attributes of Mercy, called Shelosh Esrei Middot.

In the synagogue, the “Selichot service” is built upon a recitation of these thirteen merciful attributes that the LORD revealed. Exodus 34:6-7 (KJV)

“The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering,

and abundant in goodness and truth, keeping mercy for thousands,

forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty;

visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children and upon the children’s children,

unto the third and to the fourth generation.”

According to various traditional interpretations, these thirteen attributes of God’s Name may be understood as follows:

1. Adonai – I, the LORD, am the Compassionate Source of all of life and Ground all being; I am the breath of life for all of creation. I am the God of all possible worlds and Master of the universe. Everything that exists is an expression of my loving will and kindness: olam chesed yibaneh: “The world is built with chesed” (Psalm 89:3). Since the relative difference between existence and non-existence is infinite, God’s creation represents infinite kindness, and since you exist, you likewise are an expression of God’s kindness and love. You do not exist because God needs you but solely because your life is willed by God as an expression of His love.

2. Adonai – Though the LORD created the universe “very good”, He remained the Compassionate Source of life even after mankind sinned, and therefore the Name is repeated to refer to His loving relationship with alienated, fallen creation. I, the LORD, am also compassionate to one who has sinned and repented (i.e., the Creator gives us free will and the good gift of teshuvah). God created mankind for the sake of Teshuvah – that is, our return to Him. God desires atonement with mankind even after sin and therefore continues to give existence to the world. “He makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good and sends rain on the just and on the unjust” Matthew 5:45

Moreover, as the Savior and Redeemer of the world through Yeshua, the lord reveals kindness even to the evil, and even partakes of its presence by means of His sacrificial love on the cross. Since teshuvah can only exist after the advent of sin, Yeshua is called the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world Revelayiom 13:8; Ephesians 1:4 and 1 Peter 1:20

In this connection, it should be noted that while God “wills” evil (in the sense of allowing the actions of the wicked to occur), he does not desire it. The sages note that while the Creator supports the existence of both the wicked and the righteous, he loves the righteous, and only their actions are desired by Him. Psalm 1:6. God wills the brokenness of the sinner so that the soul can return to Him by experiencing His salvation, love, and blessing.

3. El – I, the LORD, am God the Almighty and Omnipotent;

4. Rachum – I, the LORD, am merciful (rachamim means “mercy” and rechem means “womb”);

5. Chanun – I, the LORD, am gracious; I pour out my favor freely to all of creation. (Chen is the word for “grace”);

6. Erekh Apayim – I, the LORD, am slow to anger and patient (the word Erekh means “long” and means “nose.” The idiom erekh apayim means “longsuffering, patient”);

7. Rav Chesed – I, the LORD, am abundant in love to both the righteous and the wicked;

8. Rav Emet – I, the LORD, am truthful and faithful in carrying out promises;

9. Notzer Chesed La’alafim – I, the LORD, retain chesed (love) for thousands of generations, taking into account the merit of our worthy ancestors (called zechut avot);

10. Nosei Avon – I, the LORD, forgive iniquity (avon), defined in the tradition as wrongful deeds committed with perverse premeditation; I “carry iniquity away” (nasa) for the penitent;

11. Nosei Pesha – I, the LORD, forgive transgression (pesha), defined as wrongful deeds committed in a rebellious spirit;

12. Nosei Chata’ah – I, the LORD, forgive sin (chet), defined as those wrongful deeds that were inadvertently committed;

13. Nakkeh – I, the LORD, will not cancel punishment, but I will clear the guilt for those who genuinely return to Me in teshuvah.

In addition to the Shelosh Esrei Middot, the chanting of a number of psalms and prayerful poems (piyyutim) are recited during services throughout the month of Elul. The tone of a Selichot service is set in Psalm 130:

“Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O LORD. Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications. If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand? But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.”

As Messianic believers, we affirm that forgiveness is obtained by exercising Emunah (faith) in the sacrifice of Yeshua as the kapparah for our sins, and by evidencing wholehearted teshuvah in our daily life. In Rabbinic Judaism, however, Selichot are said as a means of rendering a favorable verdict of “din,” or “judgment” by God during the Days of Awe. “Sin” (chet in Hebrew) means “failure in our relationship with the LORD.” Our goal should be to continually move closer to the LORD, but chet causes us to move away from Him.

Teshuvah means “return” and the period of Selichot is therefore set apart as a means of returning to the LORD.

We prayed corporately into this asking that God’s mercy remove those who are against Him and this nation, and lead them to repentance!

Lord, have mercy on us!

Lord, have mercy on us. Come and heal our land.

Cleanse with Your Fire, heal with Your Touch.

Humbly we bow and call upon You now.

Oh, Lord, have mercy on us.

Oh, Lord, have mercy on us.

We invited individual prayer:

  • Richard (AK) extend mercy to the wicked who will repent
  • Beverly (CA) let the fear of the Lord come upon those who are causing such destruction in our nation, and let them turn and repent!
  • Viviana (NY) let them start thinking of the good of the nation and remember that this is ONE NATION UNDER GOD, INDIVISIBLE and they must stop cooperating with those who hate America. We say NO MORE CORRUPTING of this nation! We cry out for a Holy Spirit revival in this land! Unite us in FIRE!

Maureen said that the call of God is to repent, and He is clear that those who repent will be forgiven! Those who choose NOT to repent will be lost! We can not waste our prayers on those who have clearly demonstrated that they have chosen to continue on the path of hating God and this nation! We must rise up in the Spirit of the American Revolution and remove them in the natural and let God deal with them in the spiritual realm!

Pastor Ioan agreed we must pray for everyone to come to repentance, and to rejoice when they do! When those who come to destroy our lives and our children come against us, we fight for our homes and our families!

Who is on God’s side? Who is on mammon’s? Whose voice will we listen to? Who’ll stand in the gap?

As we enter into these last 12 days of Elul, we cry out for Your mercy to those who will repent and receive it, and Your justice for those who will not!

We prayed into this, and then took individual prayers:

  • Desiree (NY) as we go forward in this month of Elul, let us go deeper in repentance. Let President Trump’s heart not be hardened, but soften it with Your love!
  • Ydia (FL) Imagine those who were not born here but came, worked hard in the USA, and started over again…we are thankful for being adopted and grafted in!
  • Viviana (NY) we thank God for those like Ydia that have embraced America for what it is. Now we ask that you close the border to those who are just coming in to get freebies. Change our immigration policies to prevent people from violating our borders!
  • Anita (NJ) she is half PR and half German, and lifted up those of military age and asked that those who are coming in will serve this nation honorably
  • Danielle (SC) comes in a spirit of repentance for America. Release a spirit of deep conviction over every state and every person in this nation! Let us realize that our sins have added to the sin of the nation. Circumcise our hearts, for we have wasted our time, talents, opportunities, and money and have put You in a lesser place. We say we have faith, but we have no action! We ask for forgiveness. Start with us during this special time…cause a shift into righteousness and VICTORY!
  • Mary Ellen (IL) when Jonah spoke out Ninevah was converted. Let us go in YOUR Way and speak out!

Maureen exhorted us to remember that when we repent and have settled matters between us and God, that we are to then arise and go out into the battle!
