Thursday, October 23. 2025 – The 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call

We begin our hour by praising and giving thanks to God!
“Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God,
that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His Name.”

For us to receive and put on the Ephesians 6 “full armor of God” as we begin each hour,
that we might be protected as we continue to “stand in the gap” for our beloved country!
Pray.
The key assignment for the 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call is to intercede hourly
for the safety and security of our President, Donald John Trump,
and to pray for that which pertains to our nation!
We pray for his protection and ask that he be led by the Holy Spirit
so that he will discern truth and act for the good of the nation.
We bless our First Lady, Melania, their marriage and family, and cover them all with the Blood of Jesus.
Pray.
For those leaders that God has anointed, appointed, and elected,
as they take their places in the governments of each state and in our nation’s Capitol!
May they work together to clean up corruption in our government and restore our electoral system.
Pray.
For God’s blessing and intervention in the life of Joe Hoft and his family,
bringing a miraculous resolution to the issues threatening and attacking him!
Pray.
We will now spend the next 10 minutes praying for President Trump,
focusing our prayers against any demonic attacks against his physical body,
in particular, the issuance of the demonic decree (“fatwa”) by the Iranian Ayatollah,
calling on Muslims to take his life.
Let him remain in good health, so he can serve his entire 4-year term as our 47th US President!

Strategic Focus for Thursday
WELCOME THE KING OF GLORY INTO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
ENGAGING IN A WARFARE OF LOVE, PRAYING FOR THE SALVATION OF OUR NATION
AND THE RESTORATION OF OUR FOUNDING PRINCIPLES – PART 275
“The heart of the king is in the hand of the Lord, Like the rivers of water; He turns it wherever He wishes.” Proverbs 21:1
The record for the longest partial government shutdown in US history is 35 days, which occurred during President Trump’s first term. The current government shutdown is now reaching a point of crisis after 23 days, where it has now become the longest full government shutdown in US history. The leaders of Congress—Senate Majority Leader John Thune, Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries—refuse to set aside partisan differences and non-essential legislative battles. As a result, Congress is unable to pass a clean continuing resolution to swiftly reopen the government and restore provision to 1.6 million federal employees and their families in financial distress. Playing the partisan blame game has led to a stalemate with 11 failed votes to end the shutdown. Pray.
“But my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”

There are approximately 800,000 furloughed federal workers and 1.4 million essential personnel working without immediate pay, who have missed two paychecks, facing delayed mortgages, depleted savings and mounting credit burdens. ICE agents are currently being paid due to the Trump administration reallocating funds, yet the National Guard continues to support ICE agents without pay. Essential workers, such as air traffic controllers, border security agents, TSA personnel, CDC staff, National Guardsmen and the Capitol Police continue to serve without pay. It is a cruel irony that Congress withholds financial provision from the very public servants that protect them, as the Capitol Police is the federal force that protects the US Capitol, Congress and the Supreme Court. Promised back pay awaits but immediate financial hardships continue for federal workers and their families, as bills and landlords do not pause for politics. Pray.

Financially vulnerable Americans living paycheck to paycheck also suffer from this shutdown despite not being federal employees. Over 48 million SNAP and WIC recipients depend on government benefits for groceries. If Republicans do not concede to Democrats on extending ACA tax credits, 24 million Americans are at risk of up to 400% health insurance premium hikes under the Affordable Care Act, including early retirees facing surges from $442 to $1,700 monthly. Pray.

As we are now in election season, the Democrats could weaponize the shutdown to siphon away economically strained independents and undecided moderate Democrats to their side and increase turnout of Democratic voters burdened with financial distress. The current government shutdown would be detrimental to Republicans if it extends further into the November 4th elections. The following Democratic and Independent Senators have demonstrated willingness to partner with Republicans in bipartisan unity to swiftly end the government shutdown: John Fetterman (Pennsylvania-D), Catherine Cortez Masto (Nevada-D), Angus King (Maine-I), Kyrsten Sinema (Arizona-I), Mark Kelly (Arizona-D), Mark Warner (Virginia-D), Tim Kaine (Virginia-D) and Chris Coons (Delaware-D). Pray.

Psalm 133:1
President Trump has targeted DEI initiatives for mass reductions-in-force (RIFs), which have been halted by U.S. District court injunction. However, it is in the Republicans’ best interest to postpone the fight for DEI layoffs for post-election season, meaning after November 4th and strategically concede to Democrats on the non-essential issue of ACA tax credits to quickly end the government shutdown, which could threaten Republican wins for the current election season. Only 60 votes are required in the Senate for cloture to end the filibuster spearheaded by Chuck Schumer and a simple majority in both chambers to pass funding, including Republican concessions on ACA tax credits if necessary for bipartisan reconciliation. Pray.
We pray:
Turn the hearts of John Thune, Mike Johnson, Chuck Schumer, and Hakeem Jeffries to end the 23-day shutdown crisis with 60 Senate votes and simple bicameral majorities for a clean continuing resolution to end the shutdown. Pray.
Soften the hearts of Senators John Fetterman (Pennsylvania-D), Catherine Cortez Masto (Nevada-D), Angus King (Maine-I), Kyrsten Sinema (Arizona-I), Mark Kelly (Arizona-D), Mark Warner (Virginia-D), Tim Kaine (Virginia-D) and Chris Coons (Delaware-D) to partner with Republicans in bipartisan unity, swiftly ending the government shutdown and restoring pay to hardworking federal families. Pray.
That the people of our nation will stand alongside President Trump, and remain engaged in this BATTLE TO SAVE AMERICA until VICTORY is won! Pray.
Protect and strengthen our 24/7 family and bring in new intercessors, in particular, Godly men and those of the next generation who are called to this assignment with us, to pray for our President and our beloved nation! Prepare us for our NEXT STEPS in this Battle to Save America! Pray.
