The key assignment for the 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call is to intercede hourly for the safety and security of our President, Donald John Trump, and to pray for that which pertains to our nation!
We pray for our President’s protection and cover him with the Blood of Jesus,
asking that he will respond to every situation by the leading of the Holy Spirit.
We refer those to You who are plotting and planning the demise of our beloved President!
We say “No!” to them and ask that You expose and foil all their plans! Thank You, Lord!
We bless our First Lady, Melania, their marriage, their son Barron and all their family members.
We bless our Vice President Mike Pence, his wife Karen and their family
and all those serving in this Administration.
We bless the Federal Reserve Board members.
May they serve with integrity and honor, doing what’s right for our nation’s economy!
The 24/7 NSPC is praying for the 2020 National Elections,
positioning ourselves in intercession before the Lord on behalf of our President and nation!

WELCOME THE KING OF GLORY INTO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
A CALL FOR A NATIONAL DAY OF REPENTANCE – Part 14
“Go through, Go through the gates! Prepare the way for the people;
Build up, Build up the highway! Take out the stones, Lift up a banner for the peoples!”
Isaiah 62:10
Across this country and around the world, this clarion call from Scripture is being heard again today as it comes directly from the mouth of the Lord! We hear and respond! In order for Him to manifest His GLORY in our nation once again, we must clear the way of the “stumbling stones” – the sin of our nation – that have kept us from moving forward (KADIMA!) We are His people, and He is calling us back to Himself, and to do that we must humble ourselves, allow ourselves to receive the conviction of the sins of this nation, and then, as we pray and seek God’s face, and turn (repent) from our wicked ways, HE WILL HEAR, and FORGIVE OUR SINS, and HEAL OUR LAND!
We pray:
During the Civil War, as President Abraham Lincoln struggled to mend this divided, war-torn nation, he wanted to “recenter” Americans around God and prayer. The proclamation he issued on March 30, 1863 called for a “Day of National Humiliation, Fasting, and Prayer.” Lincoln’s proclamation had a message that is applicable to us in the United States today, as our nation is once again deeply divided. His words bear strong similarity to the words of 2 Chronicles 7, as he speaks of God, and calls Americans to turn back to Him in prayer and repent! Lincoln was a man of God, quick to acknowledge God’s sovereignty, and confess the critical ROLE of God in human affairs. His “call to repent before God” is echoed in the recent
CALL FOR A DAY OF CORPORATE REPENTANCE

on November 3, 2019.
If we are willing to hear this call and to receive the burden of “conviction of the sin of this nation” in our hearts, we will be empowered to pray effectively in repentance for our nation! We have been praying for that willingness to have God penetrate our hearts and permeate them with that deep conviction, and then cause us to saturate the ground of all 50 states, Washington, DC and all our territories with our tears. Then, He will hear and heal our land!
We pray:
Nancy Grunewald (one of our 24 /7 Facilitators from WA) shared this recollection from the writings of her husband’s Great-Grandmother Georgia Benedict Bullock. (It has been printed in the Chicago Times-Herald.)
This young Christian girl shares a powerful, first-person remembrance of the National Day of Repentance in 1863 declared by President Lincoln. May her reflections of how she was impacted by her participation in it bring tears to our eyes and a lump in our throats as we intercede for our nation at this hour.
We pray:
“I was a girl in my early teens when the war came, but my memories are very clear, and there is one of which I seldom speak because the very thought of it stirs my heart, and to talk of it brings the tears. Never can I forget how I was impressed by the days of fasting and prayer proclaimed by Mr. Lincoln in the dark days of our country’s peril. Though born and reared in Illinois, I was brought up with a New Englander’s regard for the Sabbath, and it was a holy day to me; but never have I known a Sabbath so solemn, so filled with awe as one of those days of fasting and prayer.
It was a quiet day, as if Nature herself mourned. The leaves hung motionless on the trees, and the very sunlight I remember, impressed me strangely as it came in through the open doors and windows and lay in patches on the floor. My home was with my guardian’s family and they, with their youngest son in what was called the “bloody nineteenth Illinois,” kept the day sorrowfully. It was as if one lay dead in the house. My guardian did not go to his place of business, but spent the greater part of the day with the big family Bible open before him; and the mother went into her room and closed the door. No work was done about the house, the table was not spread for breakfast nor for dinner. I was told to get something for myself if I wished. But I could not eat; the food seemed to choke me; neither could I pray. I looked out to my playhouse under the trees, but I should sooner have thought of going there on Sunday. So I sat still looking curiously at my guardian as he turned the leaves of his Bible, or at the closed door behind which I knew my guardian’s wife wept and prayed.
Out on the street and over the town the same silence reigned. No open stores, no whistles from the mills, no whir of machinery, no playing of children in the yards, nothing but oppressive silence until the church bells called the people together for public service and quiet groups went along the street to their places of worship.
All day silence rested over our home, and as I look back over the years into the room in which I sat that day, something of the same awe fills my soul and there is the same choking feeling in my throat, and I am a girl again, listening breathlessly to the news of the battlefield, or to the prayer to God for our soldier boys, and to Save the Union.” (End of remembrance)

Julia Ward Howe’s “Battle Hymn of the Republic” was first published on the front page of The Atlantic Monthly of February 1862…a year before Lincoln’s proclamation. It has been sung at significant moments in our history, and was performed in St. Paul’s Cathedral on September 14, 2001, as part of a memorial service for those lost in the 9-11 attacks. We sing it today, soberly, as we call upon God to move once more in our nation! HalleluYah!
