Thursday, November 27. 2025 – The 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call

We begin our hour by praising and giving thanks to God!

For us to receive and put on the Ephesians 6 “full armor of God” as we begin each hour,
that we might be protected as we continue to “stand in the gap” for our beloved country!
Pray.
The key assignment for the 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call is to intercede hourly
for the safety and security of our President, Donald John Trump,
and to pray for that which pertains to our nation!
We pray for his protection and ask that he be led by the Holy Spirit
so that he will discern truth and act for the good of the nation.
We bless our First Lady, Melania, their marriage and family, and cover them all with the Blood of Jesus.
Pray.
For those leaders that God has anointed, appointed, and elected,
as they take their places in the governments of each state and in our nation’s Capitol!
May they work together to clean up corruption in our government and restore our electoral system.
We also pray for the protection of members of this Administration,
especially those in the Cabinet, and law enforcement agencies, such as ICE, FBI, CBP, et al.
Pray.
For God’s blessing and intervention in the life of Joe Hoft and his family,
bringing a miraculous resolution to the issues threatening and attacking him!
Pray.
We will now spend the next 10 minutes praying for President Trump,
focusing our prayers against any demonic attacks against him.
Let him remain in good health, so he can serve his entire 4-year term as our 47th US President!

AND THE RESTORATION OF OUR FOUNDING PRINCIPLES – PART 310

In America, Thanksgiving is one of our top holidays…one that most people really love celebrating! We often think of it as a time when families get together, and there’s a lot of food and fun and festivities…and football games! The actual tradition of Thanksgiving goes back almost 400 years…to some of the first Christian settlers to arrive in America; they were called the Pilgrims. As they came here, they were very Biblically oriented, having come through what was called the “Reformation” which was a “back to the Bible movement” that started back in the thirteenth century…calling people back to living by God’s Word.

The Pilgrims were people who really took their faith seriously, so when they came to America, they had a lot of difficulties; they landed at a bad time of the year; it was really cold, they were months late in getting here, and they really didn’t land where they wanted to they lend…but much further north and in a much rougher region of the country. It wasn’t working out right…but nonetheless, they still found that they were able to survive that first year. It was very difficult for them; nearly half of them died that first year, but as they got ready to go into the second year, they had enough to be able to survive the next winter, so that’s when they called it a “time of Thanksgiving.” They gather together with their neighbors, the Wampanoag Indians, with whom they had signed a great treaty…there were great relationships between those two peoples…the Anglo and Wampanoags…and had three days of festivity, fellowship, athletic events, like running and shooting contests, wrestling, and great feasting. That’s really what we look to as the origin of Thanksgiving in America.

It’s interesting that those same people had had trouble with drought, and because of the drought, they called for a time of prayer and fasting, seeking God’s help, because if they didn’t get rain at the right time, the crops wouldn’t grow, and they wouldn’t be able to survive the winter. So it developed that, out of the pilgrims, came a tradition in America that in the spring, when we really need the rain to come, we have “a day of fasting and prayer and humiliation” and in the fall, after the rain has come and we have an abundant harvest, we have a time of Thanksgiving! While we consider the time of Thanksgiving as a very significant holiday, we often forget that that was preceded by a time of fasting and prayer and humiliation.

That takes us back to the fact that the pilgrims who celebrated Thanksgiving were really a covenantal people. They understood covenant…and that came from the Bible. You have God’s covenant that He made with Adam and Eve, and the covenant He made with Noah, and the covenant He made with Abraham, and the covenant with David, and so many other covenants…and covenants are always a two-way contract…”if you’ll do this, I’ll do this.” For example, with the covenant made with Abraham: because God knew that Abraham would teach his children after him the ways of God, that he would faithfully teach his family and his descendants, He made a covenant with Abraham. So there were things on both sides. When you look at this covenantal kind of perspective, it’s interesting that often times, Christians will look at 2 Chronicles 7:14 that if God’s people will pray, He’ll hear from heaven and heal their land…but before that, it says “if My people will pray…and humble themselves and turn from their wicked ways”… in other words, those things we have to do as Christians.

So when we look at Thanksgiving, it’s a good time to remember that, yes, we thank God for His blessings, but this is part of the Covenant. We need to back up and say:
What is it that I need to be doing right now?
What do I need to recommit myself to?
What part of God’s ways do I need to re-embrace and change my life to conform to those words?
If we can do that, it leads to great times at Thanksgiving…the result of humbling yourself and doing what God wants and then enjoying the blessings that He brings as a result. So that’s kind of the back story of Thanksgiving in America. It really is a time to thank God, and it’s also the result of things we’ve been doing up to that point that have led to those blessings!

We pray:
In humble gratitude for all the Pilgrims underwent in order to “prepare the way” for the generations that followed them, enabling us to live in this covenant country… over which God is sovereign! Pray.
That when we look back on this Thanksgiving, we will know that we have truly prepared our hearts by embracing the things necessary to conform our life to His will, His plan, and His purpose for us. Pray.
That the people of our nation will stand alongside President Trump, and remain engaged in this BATTLE TO SAVE AMERICA until VICTORY is won! Pray.
Protect, strengthen, and cover our 24/7 family in the Blood of Jesus against all warfare and witchcraft. Bring in new intercessors, in particular, Godly men and those of the next generation who are called to this assignment with us, to pray for our President and our beloved nation! Prepare us for our NEXT STEPS in this Battle to Save America! Pray.
