for the safety and security of our duly elected President, Donald John Trump,
and to pray for that which pertains to our nation!
We pray for his protection, for our First Lady, Melania, and their marriage
and for all the members of their family. We cover them all with the Blood of Jesus.

For the restoration of Donald Trump to his rightful office.
In every situation and decision, let our President be led by the Holy Spirit,
so that he learns the truth and acts accordingly, for the good of the nation.

for all working to expose the fraud and corruption of our elections!
As the SAVE AMERICA movement gains momentum, let those leaders that God anoints and appoints
take their places in the governments of each state and in our nation’s Capitol!

Democrats have made one particular legislation – HR 8404 – a top priority during the current “lame-duck” period, as the party prepares for ceding control of the lower chamber to Republicans. Violating the law of a HOLY GOD, they are doing that which is UNHOLY…seeking to codify federal protections for same-sex marriage through their (Dis)Respect for Marriage Act.
In true Orwellian doublespeak, HR 8404 is called the “Respect for Marriage Act,” but nothing could be further from the truth. In just four pages, it completely destroys marriage and states’ rights! This bill will push same-sex marriage into every state, even if the 2015 Obergefell decision is overturned, and any definition of “marriage” any state dreams up must be respected in all 50 states under this bill! So, one state can dictate marriage policy for EVERY state. If one state allowed incestuous marriage, the rest of the nation would be forced to recognize and respect that “marriage.” In addition, it empowers the U.S. attorney general and private individuals to sue individuals and could open the door for polygamy and polyamory (group marriages). (That was brushed off as a “drafting error” but they refused to fix it.) The next step will be a final vote on passage – which has now been scheduled for Monday, November 28th. If passed, the amended version will be returned to the House for its final vote, before being sent to the imposter in the White House for his signature! Pray.
There were 12 Republican Senators who joined with their Democratic counterparts in supporting the initial measure: Roy Blunt (R-MO), Richard Burr (R-NC), Shelley Capito (R-WV), Susan Collins (R-ME), Joni Ernst (R-IA), Cynthia Lummis (R-WY), Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), Rob Portman (R-OH), Mitt Romney (R-UT), Dan Sullivan (R-AK), Thom Tillis (R-NC) and Todd Young (R-IN). One of those Thom Tillis (R-NC), went on and on in his press release about how he helped “Secure Robust Religious Freedom Protections”…in an attempt to cover up the fact that he voted for a bill that had zero religious freedom protections! This bill literally throws open the door for massive persecution of people of faith! Let us pray that those Republican Senators who voted YES in previous roll calls will NOT do so again. As our verse today indicates, let them be visited in the night hours and have the fear of God put in them! Pray.
Those 12 Republicans gave up their most powerful bargaining chip in the Senate—that of the 60-person vote requirement for a bill to pass…based on the hope that it would later be amended to include a weak religious accommodation amendment. (Echoes of Nancy Pelosi saying: “We have to pass it to know what’s in it!”) Pray.
The authors of the “so-called religious freedom amendment” asserted that it would protect institutions from losing their tax-exempt status if they refuse to recognize same-sex marriages. Not so fast, says Mat Staver of LIBERTY COUNSEL. He said: “Members of the US Senate have proposed an amendment to HR 8404, the so-called Respect for Marriage Act, that fails to provide protection for people or organizations with sincerely held religious beliefs about biblical marriage. The proposed amendment does nothing to protect religious liberty because the Religious Freedom Restoration Act only applies to the federal government. Therefore, state action will not be affected.” Pray.
Nothing in HR 8404 or the proposed amendment will provide any protection for religious individuals or organizations,
- The Amendment severely restricts the purported exemption for religious organizations by restricting it to a limited subset of only nonprofit entities.
- The subsequent amendments to the bill exclude a large percentage of constitutionally and statutorily protected religious organizations.
- If HR 8404, the so-called Respect for Marriage Act, passes, gender will be irrelevant, not only in marriage but also in any aspect of American life.

In addition, Congress does not possess the constitutional authority to define marriage and to enact such legislation under Article I.
- In striking down the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), (the reverse of the ill-named Respect for Marriage Act), the Supreme Court stated in United States v. Windsor that “by history and tradition the definition and regulation of marriage…has been treated as being within the authority and realm of the separate States.”
- HR 8404 to DOMA are virtually identical…with the opposite conclusion.
- DOMA said that marriage would only be recognized at the federal level as between a man and wife.
- HR 8404 by contrast, expands that definition to include all individuals.
So, if Congress cannot enact the one, then the necessary constitutional corollary is that Congress cannot enact the other.
Staver said, “HR 8404 will trample upon religious freedom. It will undermine the 303 Creative case currently before the US Supreme Court and will force individuals who engage in artistic expression to violate their religious convictions concerning marriage. Congress has absolutely no authority to regulate marriage within the several states. This bill should be defeated now or it will be defeated in the courts later.” So, after that mad scramble in the Senate to try to add a narrow religious freedom protection amendment, Republicans are left relying on nothing more than a verbal promise from Democrats for an amendment that will provide very little protection for people of faith. Pray.
Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI) after voting against the motion to invoke cloture on the (Dis)Respect for Marriage Act, released this statement: “The Respect for Marriage Act is unnecessary, as the Obergefell decision is settled law and has no chance of being overturned. The Supreme Court in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization made clear no other right would be affected by its ruling. The Democrats have used this to create a state of fear over a settled issue in order to further divide Americans for their political benefit. The substitute amendment did not provide sufficient protection for those with strongly held religious beliefs and leaves a lane open for discrimination by activist groups, state governments and the IRS. Senator Lee proposed an amendment that would have prohibited the government from taking such action, and even offered to vote for the bill if they accepted it. I would have also supported the bill with his language. The fact that the bill’s sponsors rejected his offer speaks volumes. Religious liberty should be upheld for all and those with sincerely held religious beliefs should not be discriminated against for their views on marriage.” Pray.
We only need to change the votes of three senators to stop HR 8404. Most of the 12 Republicans voted to move the bill forward based on a verbal promise that Democrats would add an amendment to provide minimal religious accommodation. That amendment will be debated, and could blow up the bill and cause it to implode and self-destruct. We need to hold their feet to the fire and remind every senator to vote against this perversion of marriage. If this bill passes, it will make each state subservient to the worse marriage laws of another state or territory. And what about marriages from foreign countries? Some senators said that they never thought about this prospect. But now they are, and that’s why it’s not too late. Pray.
Make no mistake about where this bill will end up. The goal is to abolish marriage by deconstructing it and crushing religious freedom. We must block this bill, and the time is short. There will be a FINAL vote on Monday, November 28th. Make those calls to as many senators as possible…right now! Call the Capitol Switchboard 202-225-3121 and leave a recorded comment or speak to their staff and let them know you want them to VOTE NO on HR 8404. Feel free to use or adapt this script: “The Respect for Marriage Act is dangerous legislation. It is harmful to millions of Americans of faith who believe what the Bible teaches that marriage is between one man and one woman. It places the ideology of the LGBTQ ahead of religious freedom. This bill could harm Christian adoption agencies and require congregations and churches to solemnize same-sex marriages, as well as other ramifications you may not be considering. I am praying for you as you weigh this legislation that would be earth-shattering to religious freedom in our nation for people of faith.” Pray.
We pray:
- That those in Congress will refuse to enact laws contrary to the Law of God, and shut down this evil bill. Let it be a first fruit offering! Pray.
- With hearts of gratitude that President Trump is willing to step into the fray and lead us during these tumultuous timed! Guard, guide and govern his every word and action; protect him from all enemies, without and within; help him discern rightly about counsel given by those who advise him. Pray.
- In thanksgiving for all the conservative candidates who were elected to office. May they “stand in the gap” with our President, to engage in this BATTLE TO SAVE AMERICA, and call out and reject the “usurper” and those pulling his strings in this faux administration, removing them from office! Pray.
- Protect and strengthen our 24/7 family and bring in new intercessors who are called to this assignment with us, to pray for our President and our beloved nation! Pray.
