Wednesday, November 13, 2019 – The 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call

We begin our hour by praising and giving thanks to God! 

“Let justice run down like water, and righteousness like a mighty stream.”

Amos 5:24 

We sing:

I’ve got a river of life flowing out of  me; It makes the lame to walk and the blind to see.

Spring up, O well, within my spirit! Rise up and tell, so all can hear it!

  The key assignment for the 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call is to intercede hourly for the safety and security of our President, Donald John Trump, and to pray for that which pertains to our nation!

We pray for our President’s protection and cover him with the Blood of Jesus, 

asking that he will respond to every situation by the leading of the Holy Spirit.

We refer those to You who are plotting and planning the demise of our beloved President! 

We say “No!” to them and ask that You expose and foil all their plans! Thank You, Lord! 

We bless our First Lady, Melania, their marriage, their son Barron and all their family members.

We bless our Vice President Mike Pence, his wife Karen and their family 

and all those serving in this Administration. 

We  bless the Federal Reserve Board members.  

May they serve with integrity and honor, doing what’s right for our nation’s economy! 

The 24/7 NSPC is praying for the 2020 National Elections, 

positioning ourselves in intercession before the Lord on behalf of our President and nation!  

COUNTDOWN: 357 days until the election! 

Let us pray into this verse:

 “It is a joy for the just to do justice, but destruction will come to the workers of iniquity.”

Strategic Focus for Wednesday 

WELCOME THE KING OF GLORY INTO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA 

History belongs to the Intercessors!

“He has shown you, O man, what is good; 

and what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?” 

Micah 6:8

We’ve all heard the statement: History belongs to the intercessors!  At this perilous hour in our nation’s history, AMERICA’S intercessors must redouble our prayers for the Body of Christ to awaken, arise and act as God requires…as our scripture verse from Micah says.  We are commanded to “do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with our God”...in every part of life, with no exclusions!

As citizens of the United States, we are to be responsible  to care for and be accountable for what takes place here! We are to have oversight, to manage, oversee, supervise our government and not allow anything that is corrupt to infect it or cause it to operate in any other way than our Founders intended!  

As intercessors who are also citizens, we have an even larger responsibility!  Not only is it our responsibility to care for this nation, but we are to remain vigilant and pray as the Spirit leads us, exercising both natural and  spiritual oversight as the Ekklesia in the United States!  

Part of every citizen’s responsibility is to vote our Biblical values when we go to the polls...not along a party line, but in alignment with those who are upholding the WORD OF GOD! We are  to speak to those in our realms of influence, sharing the TRUTH, and then calling upon them to do the same! 

We pray: 

• That there will be a renewed passion in prayer for our 24/7 family and for all other intercessors across this nation. 
• That we will increase our intercessory “BACK UP” so that we might all complete the assignments we’ve been given on behalf of our nation!  
• That we would be covered by the Blood of Jesus and protected as we continually intercede for our President, our nation and our people.

A beautiful example of our verse above, to “do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with our God” is seen in one of our former Presidents…Harry S. Truman. Let us read this short story about Harry and Bess Truman, and then pray that their example would be followed by those who serve this nation now.

Harry Truman was a different kind of President. He probably made as many, or more important decisions regarding our nation’s history as any of the other 42 Presidents preceding him. However, a measure of his greatness may rest on what he did after he left the White House.

The only asset he had when he died was the house he lived in, which was in Independence, Missouri. His wife Bess had inherited the house from her mother and father, and other than their years in the White House, they lived their entire lives there.  As President, Harry Truman had paid for all of his own travel expenses and food, and when he retired from office in 1952, his income was a US Army pension, reported to have been $13,507.72 a year. When Congress learned that he was paying for his own postage stamps and personally licking them, it granted him an “allowance” and, later, he received a retroactive pension… of $25,000 per year.

• Following the inauguration of President Dwight D. Eisenhower, Harry and Bessgot in their car and drove home to Missouri… by themselves. There was no Secret Service escort, or anyone assigned to follow and protect them.

• When he was offered corporate positions at large salaries, Truman declined. He said:  “You don’t want me. You want the office of the President, and that doesn’t belong to me. It belongs to the American people and it’s not for sale.”
• Even later, on May 6, 1971, when Congress was preparing to award him the Medal of Honor on his 87th birthday, he refused to accept it, writing, “I don’t consider that I have done anything which should be the reason for any award, Congressional or otherwise.”

We pray:

• Lord, thank You for this “visual aide” of a man who modeled humility, righteousness and justice for us!
• Show us how to defeat the spirit of mammon in our lives in such personal ways, daily, in the choices we make! 
• Cause our nation to move into alignment with You and the morals and values that were so evidently demonstrated through this one life of our former President! 

Sadly, modern politicians have found a new level of success in cashing in on the public trust! Some former Presidents have garnered untold wealth, and many in Congress also have found ways to become wealthy personally enjoying the “fruit” of their offices. Many have prostituted the position and used the influence that accompanies their offices for personal gain…causing them to be “for sale” to the highest bidder! 

We pray:

• Father, forgive us as a nation for putting a price on what is a sacred trust! 
• Forgive us for being unjust in our dealings with one another and on behalf of the nation! We particularly pray into the impeachment proceedings, where one party which is in control is denying equal access to the other! Deal with it, Lord, and expose every part of the darkness that is operating there! 
• We pray that You will touch our nation’s leaders once again, and infuse them with the same level of integrity and humility that was seen in President Truman.
• Thank You for the integrity modeled by President Trump as he serves YOU and this nation! We ask that You continue to uphold him, and prevent any weapon that is formed against him to have effect!

Specific Prayer Topic for Today

Praying for our Supreme Court and the Judicial System

There are those who have followed today’s scriptural admonition, and are being persecuted for it! They have done justly, loved mercy, and walked humbly with God, and the forces of darkness have been dealt death blows through them!  Today, attorney Harry Mihet, from LIBERTY COUNSEL, will deliver his closing arguments in the case of Planned Parenthood vs Sandra Merritt. As you read this, he is in court in San Francisco defending pro-life hero Sandra Merritt from Planned Parenthood’s revenge suit demanding millions from her. The jury will take the case and a verdict could come in at any time. Because of bias in the courtroom, Harry told us “it will take an absolute miracle to pull out of a victory,” Harry said. He added, “God is able. His will be done!”

We pray:

• for Sandra Merritt, who has stood valiantly for LIFE, at the risk of her own! 
• For Harry Mihet, who will be addressing the jury and urging them to acquit Sandra on all counts.

There are  other firms representing the various defendants, and we speak blessings over each of them  and their clients, who are being persecuted for standing for LIFE! Please read the list and then pray for all the firms and defendants as a group!
