For us to receive and put on the Ephesians 6 “full armor of God” as we begin each hour,
that we might be protected as we continue to “stand in the gap” for our beloved country!
Pray.
The key assignment for the 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call is to intercede hourly
for the safety and security of our President, Donald John Trump,
and to pray for that which pertains to our nation!
We pray for his protection and ask that he be led by the Holy Spirit
so that he will discern truth and act for the good of the nation.
We bless our First Lady, Melania, their marriage and family, and cover them all with the Blood of Jesus.
Pray.
For those leaders that God has anointed, appointed, and elected,
as they take their places in the governments of each state and in our nation’s Capitol!
May they work together to clean up corruption in our government, and restore our electoral system.
Pray.
For God’s blessing and intervention in the life of Joe Hoft and his family,
bringing a miraculous resolution to the issues threatening and attacking him!
Pray.
We will now spend the next 10 minutes praying for President Trump,
focusing our prayers against any demonic attacks against his physical body,
so that he will remain in good health, able to serve his entire 4-year term as our 47th US President!

Strategic Focus for Thursday

ENGAGING IN A WARFARE OF LOVE, PRAYING FOR THE SALVATION OF OUR NATION
AND THE RESTORATION OF OUR FOUNDING PRINCIPLES – PART 109
“This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.”
John 17:3
Today is Day 8 of our 9-day intercessory assignment in which we are praying for the end of the war between Russia and Ukraine. We are reminded of our threefold focus for these 9 days:
1) interceding for President Trump as he works to bring the war between Ukraine and Russia to an end;
2) praying toward the 9th of May, on which we will serve a Restraining Order and a Notice of Eviction to the principality known as the “Prince of War” that is positioned above the Kremlin in Moscow;
3) “standing in the gap,” proclaiming the Covenant on behalf of those who will commit their lives and hearts to the Lord as the nation of Russia experiences a new freedom in the Spirit, following the removal of the demonic entity that has held Russia captive!
Pray.
We are preparing to complete our assignment tomorrow, and we are offering this brief overview of the history of Russia to enable our 24/7 intercessors to pray with a more complete understanding.
The Rus were a group of Norsemen, Scandinavian Vikings who were conquerors, traders and settlers, primarily from Sweden, who settled and ruled along the river routes between the Baltic and Black Seas during the 8th to 11th centuries AD. The Rus played a crucial role in establishing the Kievan Rus, a state that was foundational to the development of Russian and Ukrainian identity. They were often referred to as Varangians, and were the basis for a medieval kingdom that gave rise to modern Russia, Belarus, and Ukraine. They came from the Baltic coast, migrating south and establishing a state among the Eastern European Slavs. Pray.
Legacy: The Kievan Rus’, founded by the Rus’, is considered a foundational state in the history of Eastern Europe, and its legacy is still evident in the national identities of Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus. The Rus’ were led by Rurik and his followers (Varangians), who settled in the Ladoga region (modern Russia) around 862.. They established a settlement at Novgorod and later, under Oleg, captured Kiev, which became the capital of Kievan Rus’. Descendants of Rurik formed a dynasty that ruled for over 700 years. They were the foundational ruling dynasty of the Kievan Rus’, and later the Tsardom of Russia, until the death of Feodor I in 1598. Pray.
Assimilation and Slavicization While initially maintaining some of their Scandinavian customs, the Rus’ increasingly adopted Slavic culture and language. Intermarriage with Slavic tribes led to the emergence of a new ethnic identity, contributing to the formation of what would later become the Russian people. Pray.
Worship: In pre-Christian Slavic belief, the two primary gods worshipped in Kievan Rus’ included:
Perun was considered the main god, supreme, associated with lightning, thunder, and war;
Veles, known for his connection to the underworld, was also associated with magic and shamanism, sometimes depicted as a shapeshifting serpent.
According to some sources and historians, there was an attempt in the 9th century to Christianise Kievan Rus’. Vladimir the Great (the king) converted from Slavic paganism to Byzantine Christianity in the 980s. There was a mass baptism, which became the iconic inaugural event in the “Christianization” of the state of Kievan Rus (dubbed the Baptism of Rus’). However, that was “a marriage between the church and the state” which manifested throughout all the history of Russia. Pray.
We pray:
That the people of Russia, from the youngest to the oldest, from the most conservative to the most liberal, will have “definitive encounters” with Jesus Christ, and receive Him as Lord and Savior. Pray.
That any attraction to or worship of ancestral gods will be completely expunged from their hearts and minds, so they are FREED from the bondage of darkness and can enter into a relationship with the ONE TRUE GOD! Pray.
That the people of our nation will stand alongside President Trump, and remain engaged in this BATTLE TO SAVE AMERICA until VICTORY is won! Pray.
Protect and strengthen our 24/7 family and bring in new intercessors, in particular, Godly men and those of the next generation who are called to this assignment with us, to pray for our President and our beloved nation! Prepare us for our NEXT STEPS in this Battle to Save America! Pray.
