for the safety and security of our duly elected President, Donald John Trump,
and to pray for that which pertains to our nation!
We pray for his protection, for our First Lady, Melania, and their marriage
and for all the members of their family.
We cover them all with the Blood of Jesus.
We ask that in every situation and decision, President Trump will be led by the Holy Spirit!
Pray.
We pray for ourselves and our loved ones, and corporately put on the full armor of God!
We lift up the family of our beloved Repeka Nuusa, who stepped into the Lord’s Presence on Tuesday night!
We continue to pray for healing for Deborah Cole…
that she may be healed totally of cancer that is attacking her!
Pray.
Strategic Focus for Saturday
WELCOME THE KING OF GLORY INTO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
ONE NATION UNDER GOD, INDIVISIBLE, WITH LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL!
The Battle for the Survival of the Nation! – Part 19
“Fear God and give Him glory, because the hour of His judgment has come,
and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and the springs of water.”
Revelation 14:7
As we learned yesterday, Critical Race Theory (CRT) has nothing to do with COVID-19 and nothing to do with “race”. It has to do with the power grab by the left to systematically dismantle religion and banish God from the lips, minds, and hearts of the faithful. Seeking to remove God and His Name from America, it will stop at nothing to destroy people, places and things along its way.
We pray:
- That as God’s people give Him “glory and honor and praises” and worship Him as the ONE and ONLY GOD, Sovereign over the United States of America, He will hear and answer our prayers for our nation. Pray.
The debate over CRT came to the forefront when President Trump banned federal agencies from using critical race theory materials in their training. The director of the Office of Management and Budget under President Trump wrote to the heads of federal agencies last September, saying:
“It has come to the President’s attention that Executive Branch agencies have spent millions of taxpayer dollars to date ‘training’ government workers to believe divisive, anti-American propaganda. These types of ‘trainings’ not only run counter to the fundamental beliefs for which our Nation has stood since its inception, but they also engender division and resentment within the Federal workforce.”
The Trump administration’s letter sparked headlines… and backlash. However, it received praise from Republicans, many of whom are wary of left-leaning curriculum that presents anti-American sentiments, especially when used for educating children. Pray.
On his first day in the White House, the “usurper” Joe Biden dissolved the Trump administration’s “1776 Commission.” He tossed it, along with its first (and last) report, which called for “a return to patriotic education” focusing on how generations of Americans overcame racism to live up to the nation’s founding ideals. *** Dr. Carol Swain, who served on that “1776 Commission”, spoke to us about it on our Shabbat Call last night!
In the early 21st century, critical race theorists addressed a number of issues, including police brutality and criminal justice, hate speech and hate crimes, health care, affirmative action, poverty and the welfare state, immigration, and voting rights. Now, CRT has systematically pervaded many other aspects of society.
- It has strongly influenced fields outside the confines of legal studies, including women’s and gender studies, education, American studies, and sociology.
- CRT spin-off movements have also taken hold in Asian American, Latinx, LGBTQ, Muslim, and Native American communities! Pray.
A proposed new “rule” has been “released” by the Education Department which demonstrates the Biden administration’s intention to teach American students that historical racism remains deeply embedded in today’s America.
- This rule outlines new priority criteria for a $5.3 million American History and Civics Education grant, as well as materials for K-12 educators to use. Specifically, the Education Department cited the “1619 Project” as an example of the kind of content it wants to promote in history and civics classrooms across the country…and use taxpayer dollars on!
- Introduced to the public through The New York Times (“a leftist liberal rag”) the “1619 Project” attempts to cast the Atlantic slave trade as the dominant factor in the founding of America...instead of ideals such as individual liberty and natural rights.
- The initiative has been widely panned by historians and political scientists; critics call it a bid to “rewrite” US history through a left-wing lens, and some historians have criticized the project over inaccuracies… such as the blatant lie that the American Revolution was fought to preserve the institution of slavery…rather than for seeking our independence from Great Britain. Pray.
In contrast to the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776, the traditional date when the foundational principles of the United States were framed, the project challenges students “to reframe U.S. history by marking the year when the first enslaved Africans arrived on Virginia soil as our nation’s foundational date,” (referring to the date of 1619).
- The New York Times essay put forth a central assertion: that “the year 1619 is as foundational to the American story as 1776…(that) black Americans, as much as those men cast in alabaster in the nation’s capital, are this nation’s true ‘founding fathers.’” Pray.
- Twisting and distorting the truth, the 1619 “curriculum” urges students to “consider” such vile suggestions as: “What evidence can you see for how ‘some might argue that this nation was founded not as a democracy but as a slavocracy?’” (Reminiscent of the serpent speaking to Eve in the garden?) Pray.
Thomas Mackaman, a history professor at King’s College in Pennsylvania, said that, in his view, the American Revolution didn’t establish a “slavocracy,” as the Times essay suggests, but it instead brought slavery into question in a way that had never been done before by “raising universal human equality as a fundamental principle.” Pray.
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), along with 37 Republicans, penned a letter to Biden’s Education Secretary, Miguel Cardona, urging him to remove the “1619 Project” from federal grant programs, arguing that it skews American history for divisive political ends. The Republicans expressed concern that the Biden administration is:
- seeking to prioritize funding educational programs that incorporate the ideas of the 1619 Project and critical race theory into their teaching of U.S. history and civics,
- reorienting bipartisan programs “away from their intended purposes toward a politicized and divisive agenda.”
Pray.
“Our nation’s youth do not need activist indoctrination that fixates solely on past flaws and splits our nation into divided camps. Taxpayer-supported programs should emphasize the shared civic virtues that bring us together, not push radical agendas that tear us apart. Families did not ask for this divisive nonsense. Voters did not vote for it. Americans never decided our children should be taught that our country is inherently evil.” Pray.
In their letter, the Republicans characterized the “1619 Project” as “putting ill-informed advocacy ahead of historical accuracy,”
- They argued that it serves to “double down on divisive, radical, and historically-dubious buzzwords and propaganda. “
- They contended that “actual, trained, credentialed historians with diverse political views have debunked the project’s many factual and historical errors, such as the bizarre and inaccurate notion that preserving slavery was a primary driver of the American Revolution.” Pray.
- They concluded their letter with a call for the Education Department to “withdraw these Proposed Priorities and refocus on civic education and American history programs that will empower future generations of citizens to continue making our nation the greatest force for good in human history.” Pray.
Several states have taken up the fight against critical race theory in their education systems. Praise God! It is being denounced, rejected and thrown out of one state after another!
- Idaho Republican governor Brad Little signed House Bill 377, banning the Marxist indoctrination program in public schools statewide, into law. The historic legislation makes the Gem State the first to legally reject ideas that the United States of America was founded on white supremacy. Christopher Rufo, of the Manhattan Institute, lauded the decision on social media: “VICTORY: Idaho becomes the first state in the nation to ban critical race theory indoctrination in public schools. Governor Brad Little signed the bill into law, which will prohibit schools from promoting race essentialism, collective guilt, and neo-segregation. A historic win!” Thank You, Lord!
- More than 200 people rallied at the New Hampshire State House to urge schools to stop indoctrinating children with Critical Race Theory (CRT). It was described by demonstrators as “a set of divisive concepts aimed at increasing racial tensions.” Thank You, Lord!
- The Texas Senate passed a bill last week to prevent the states’ teachers from being forced to comply with any mandates to teach critical race theory. Texas’ Republican Lt. Governor Dan Patrick said. “Texans reject critical race theory and other so-called ‘woke’ philosophies that maintain that one race or sex is inherently superior to another race or sex or that any individual, by virtue of his or her race or sex, is inherently racist, sexist or oppressive.” These divisive concepts have been inserted into curriculums around the state, but they have no place in Texas schools. When Texan parents send their children to school, they expect their students to learn to think critically without being forced to consume misinformation about our country’s founding and the biases of advocacy groups that seek to belittle our democracy and divide us.” Thank You, Lord!
- Tennessee Republicans have a bill that would ban the state’s schools from teaching CRT. Thank You, Lord!
- Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, in unveiling new education spending for his state in March, said: “Florida civics curriculum will incorporate foundational concepts with the best materials, and it will expressly exclude unsanctioned narratives like critical race theory and other unsubstantiated theories,” Thank You, Lord!
Republicans in other states have pushed back against the DOE rule, saying local leaders have authority over education in their states, not the federal government. A grassroots swell of Americans, mostly on the right, are pushing back against the ideology and argue their tax dollars should not be used to fund it. Pray.
The Biden administration’s push for critical race theory has become a major talking point for conservative grassroots organizations. It also provides a rallying point for Republicans to refute Biden and use his views for fundraising and campaigning going into 2022.
- “On Day One, through executive order, I will immediately instruct the Georgia Department of Education to prohibit the teaching of Critical Race Theory within our public schools. It’s time for our schools to stop teaching our kids to hate America.” – Vernon Jones, Republican candidate for Governor of Georgia
- “If you’re looking for institutional racism, it exists within Critical Race Theory. Ban it. At every level. It is the new Jim Crow.” – Conservative author and speaker Candace Owens. Pray.
We pray:
- That Americans, especially parents, will rise up with one voice, to speak out and push back against critical race theory and every other vile, unsubstantiated, hellish theory attempting to be foisted on our students by the Godless, radical left. Pray
- That President Trump will continue to make his views known to the people of the nation about issues like CRT, encouraging them to defend our heritage and protect our children from these lies! Pray
- That President Trump will respond to our letter and set an “appointed place” and an “appointed time” for our meeting with him! Pray.
