Monday, May 25, 2020 – The 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call

We begin our hour by praising and giving thanks to God!
“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people He has chosen as His own inheritance.
Psalm 33:12
We sing: The Star Spangled Banner
Oh, say can you see by the dawn’s early light, what so proudly we hailed at the twilight’s last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight,
o’er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming?
And the rockets’ red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
gave proof through the night that our flag was still there;
Oh, say does that star-spangled banner yet wave o’er the land of the free and the home of the brave?
Oh! thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand between their loved home and the war’s desolation!
Blest with victory and peace, may the heav’n rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation.
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just, and this be our motto:
“In God is our trust.”
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave o’er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

The key assignment for the 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call is to intercede hourly for the safety and security of our President, Donald John Trump, and to pray for that which pertains to our nation!
We pray for our President’s protection from the coronavirus and cover him with the Blood of Jesus.
Let him respond to every situation by the leading of the Holy Spirit!
We refer those to You who are plotting and planning the demise of our beloved President!
We say “No!” to them and ask that You expose and foil all their plans! Thank You, Lord!
We pray that the “elite medical establishment” will no longer block our doctors from prescribing hydroxychloroquine as a treatment for the coronavirus. Let the doctors be free to practice as You lead!
We bless our First Lady, Melania, their marriage, their son Barron and all their family members.
We bless our Vice President Mike Pence, his wife Karen and their family
and all those serving in this Administration.
We pray for the mass media, which is being used and exploited by the “father of lies.”
We ask that it either reverses course and reports accurately or be taken down.
We pray for the Federal Reserve Board members, to use their power to boost our nation’s economy.
Let them act in accord with what is good for the USA!
The 24/7 NSPC is praying for the 2020 National Elections,
positioning ourselves in intercession before the Lord on behalf of our President and nation!
COUNTDOWN: 163 days until the election!

Memorial Day 2020 – Cherish our Freedom
“You are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.’
1 Peter 2:9-10
On November 19, 1863, after the Union army defeated the Confederacy at the Battle of Gettysburg, President Abraham Lincoln dedicated the Soldiers’ National Cemetery in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Surveying the site where Americans on both sides of the Civil War sacrificed their lives, Abraham Lincoln urged his listeners to “resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain – that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom – and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.”
Those powerful words are as true today as they were then, so let us pray them now…for our beloved nation!
We pray:
- “that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom – and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.” Pray.
Memorial Day, originally known as “Decoration Day”, was set apart to honor those soldiers Lincoln spoke of – both from the Union and the Confederate armies – who died during the American Civil War. By the 1900s, it had become a day to celebrate all Americans who died while serving in the military and in 1967, it was legally named Memorial Day.
On this Memorial Day, we once again remember those who so bravely sacrificed their lives so that we might enjoy our freedom. Our thoughts and prayers are with all those who grieve the loss of precious loved ones who gave that LAST FULL MEASURE OF DEVOTION on behalf of our nation…who selflessly sacrificed their lives at different times throughout our nation’s history so that we can live in freedom. That FREEDOM came at a precious price…and true patriots treasure it! Pray.
Peter speaks powerfully when he tells us that we are God’s special people, who are called to proclaim His praises, for we
“who once were not a people but are now the people of God,
who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy”.
This nation has a mission…a DIVINE ASSIGNMENT…and we will complete our mission and fulfill our assignment!
Whatever comes against us will be taken down and vanquished, for God is leading us on…KADIMA! to victory! Pray.
On this Memorial Day, May 25, 2020, Americans in various places throughout our country are:
- being denied their freedoms by heavy-handed governors and mayors;
- being told that they must comply with outrageous restrictions that are unconstitutional;
- being prevented from worshiping in their churches or from traveling to visit family members;
- or simply being able to commemorate Memorial Day by planting a flag on a fallen warriors gravestone.
Benjamin Franklin, one of our Founding fathers, said: “Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.” We will not be deceived…nor will we be intimidated! We stand as one nation under God…on behalf of liberty and justice for all. The liberties we enjoy were hard won by those who were willing to pay the price…and time after time, that price was their lives! Let us once again resolve that our noble dead did not die in vain..and refuse to abide by these unlawful rules!
Freedom is never free. Today, every red-blooded American patriot better be willing to fight for those freedoms, and never give up, never back down…for if we succumb even a little…it’s a slippery slope…and other losses will follow!
We pray:
- For all those who made that ultimate sacrifice so that we have the freedom we enjoy today! Pray.
- For all our troops deployed in harm’s way, for their families and loved ones who they endure the hardship and uncertainty that comes with having their loved ones deployed throughout the nations we defend! Pray.
- For our President, who is paying the price every day, spending himself for this nation and her people! Pray.
Deeply moved by the losses he witnessed during a WWI battle in 1915, a Canadian doctor, Lt. Col. John McCrae penned the poem “In Flanders Fields” to honor his fallen comrades. Let us reflect on it and pray into it now.

In Flanders fields the poppies blow between the crosses, row on row, that mark our place;
and in the sky the larks, still bravely singing, fly scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the Dead.
Short days ago we lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow, loved and were loved,
and now we lie in Flanders fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe: to you from failing hands we throw the torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die, we shall not sleep, though poppies grow in Flanders fields.
Pray.
Another poem, “It is the Soldier”, was composed by Charles M. Province. It reminds us of the price paid by the members of our military that enables us to have these freedoms today! Again, read, reflect and pray!

It is the Soldier, not the reporter who has given us freedom of press.
It is the Soldier, not the poet who has given us freedom of speech.
It is the Soldier, not the campus organizer who has given us freedom to protest.
It is the Soldier, not the lawyer who has given us the right to a fair trial.
It is the Soldier, not the politician who has given us the right to vote.
It is the Soldier who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag,
And whose coffin is draped by the flag, who allows the protester to burn the flag.
Pray.
As we close out this hour on Memorial Day, let us join our hearts and voices in singing our final prayer:
GOD BLESS AMERICA
While the storm clouds gather far across the sea,
let us swear allegiance to a land that’s free.
Let us all be grateful for a land so fair, as we raise our voices in a solemn prayer…

- Lord, we thank You for the freedom, grace and mercy You have extended to this, our beloved nation…the United States of America. Keep us and guard us as Your property and possession, for we belong to YOU and to no other! You are our God and we are Your people! Bless America, from sea to shining sea. Bless our President and our Godly leaders, and remove those who are not righteous. We pray for Americans everywhere, that they will come to acknowledge, receive, and joyfully bless You, our Lord and King! Pray.
