We pray for his protection, for our First Lady, Melania, and their marriage
and for all the members of their family. We cover them all with the Blood of Jesus.

For the restoration of Donald Trump to his rightful office.
In every situation and decision, let our President be led by the Holy Spirit,
so that he learns the truth and acts accordingly, for the good of the nation.

For protection, provision, and peace
for all working to expose the fraud and corruption of our elections!
As the SAVE AMERICA movement gains momentum, let those leaders that God anoints and appoints
take their places in the governments of each state and in our nation’s Capitol!

AMERICANS! WAKE UP! Our Constitutionally guaranteed rights are being compromised and the radical left is trying to take them away permanently! Let’s pray into this latest assault on our right to bear arms!
The text of the 2nd Amendment to our Constitution reads:
“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State,
the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”
As always, when interpreting the Constitution, we begin with the Constitution’s text. The 2nd Amendment’s text can be separated into two clauses:
- The first part (which lawyers usually call the “prefatory clause” goes to the Amendment’s connection to the Founding generation’s commitment to the citizen-soldier, organized around local militias. This language expresses at least one of the Amendment’s core purposes—preserving “the security of a free State” through a “well regulated Militia,” comprised of members of the local community. Pray.
Many Founders feared a national army filled with professional soldiers. History taught us that these sorts of armies might lead to tyranny. Instead, the Founders thought it better to protect ourselves through local militias formed through groups led by our community’s leaders and formed by members of the local community. The 2nd Amendment would protect our ability to arm ourselves so that we can carry out our local militia duties without fear of the national government disarming us. So, this language is about federalism, protecting the powers of state (and local) governments and limiting the powers of the national government. Pray.
- The second part of the Amendment goes to the substance of the right itself. (Lawyers call it the Amendment’s “operative clause.”). This text expresses a core “right of the people” – the right “to keep and bear Arms.” And at the Founding, like the rest of the Bill of Rights, this text protected against the national government “infring[ing]” that right. (It didn’t apply to state governments.) Pray.
This past Wednesday, the US Supreme Court decided to allow Illinois’ strict new gun control law to remain in effect, denying an emergency request for an injunction. It means that the measure, which places bans on what it calls “assault weapons,” will remain intact while lower courts deliberate on the matter.
An Illinois gun store owner filed a petition with the high court to block the ban on a range of firearms as well as magazines that hold more than 10 rounds. The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit is considering the gun store owner’s case against the state. The Chicago-based Court hasn’t yet issued a final ruling on the law, although the decision will likely be appealed regardless of the outcome. Neither the Supreme Court nor Justice Amy Coney Barrett, who received the emergency request from the gun shop owner, explained why it decided not to issue an injunction, and no public dissents were made available. Pray.
In a separate case, a federal judge blocked the gun law. However, the Seventh Circuit Court has placed that decision on hold, while also expediting consideration of at least five different cases challenging the Illinois law. The Illinois Supreme Court is considering a similar lawsuit against the measure. Earlier in 2023, the state passed the “Protect Illinois Communities Act” that bars the purchase, sale, delivery, and manufacture of so-called “assault weapons” and the aforementioned magazines. It specifically named AK-47-style rifles and AR-15-style rifles as “assault weapons” under the law, which also requires that those who previously purchased semi-automatic rifles to register their ownership with Illinois State Police.
According to Public Act 102-1116 (HB5471) Frequently Asked Questions about the law: “Illinois residents cannot purchase an AR 15 or assault weapon beginning January 11, 2023 unless subject to one of the narrow exemptions.” And the FAQ says the law bans “a magazine, belt, drum, feed strip, or similar device that has a capacity of, or that can be readily restored or converted to accept, more than 10 rounds of ammunition for long guns and more than 15 rounds of ammunition for handguns; or any combination of parts from which a device described can be assembled.” Pray.
Pro-Second Amendment groups have repeatedly criticized the law as unconstitutional, and gun rights activists, including Robert Bevis, a gun store owner in Naperville, filed lawsuits to block the state law as well as a similar local ordinance that was passed in the city of Highland Park. Bevis told a local news outlet that he believes the statewide ban violates Americans’ 2nd Amendment right to keep and bear arms. “I wake up one morning, I come into work and find out that they are going to ban assault weapons the following week. It’s unconstitutional. Our 2nd Amendment provides us a right to keep and bear arms, and this is taking away.” Pray.
Many have said that the term “assault weapons” is a politicized term. “The term itself—‘assault weapon’—is a made-up term by the gun control people in the late ‘80s when they were trying to conflate semi-automatic rifles with machine guns. It’s a made-up term that has absolutely no meaning,” said Dan Eldridge, who owns Maxon Shooters Supplies in Des Plaine.. The guns that were outlawed in the state were described by Eldridge as “semi-automatic, center-fire rifles that accept detachable magazines.” He noted that AR-15-style rifles are popular across the United States and that several million people own such firearms in the state of Illinois alone. “It’s America’s favorite rifle platform, and it is that because it is highly adaptable to all shapes and sizes of people,” Eldridge said. “Easily accessorized. Built on a standard. Available at a wide variety of price points and features. It really is a ‘modern sporting rifle,’ as the industry likes to call it.” Pray.
The lawsuit names the City of Naperville, Chief of Police Jason Arres, and the State of Illinois as defendants. Illinois enacted a statewide ban earlier this year, but it has since been blocked by state and federal court judges amid ongoing litigation. While gun control advocates argue that the laws are needed to help curb violence, gun rights advocates say the move is unconstitutional. Pray.
We pray:
- That the SCOTUS will rule to protect the 2nd Amendment rights of all Americans, and that “the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” Pray.
- That those who try to seize our arms will be defeated at every level, and citizens will remain armed and vigilant in order to protect themselves and their families. Pray.
- That the people of our nation will stand alongside President Trump, and remain engaged in this BATTLE TO SAVE AMERICA until VICTORY is won! Pray.
- That the members of Congress will fully investigate and try the “usurper” Biden, Obama, Clinton, Comey, and all the corrupt individuals concerned, convicting them of treason and restoring righteousness and justice for all!! Pray.
- Protect and strengthen our 24/7 family and bring in new intercessors who are called to this assignment with us, to pray for our President and our beloved nation! Prepare us for our NEXT STEPS in this Battle to Save America! Pray.
