An Open Letter to the Body of Christ
A Call to Prayer for Russia:
Welcoming the King of Glory into Russia
Serving the Restraining Order and Notice of Eviction to the Prince of War
“When He opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying, “Come and see.” Another horse, fiery red, went out. And it was granted to the one who sat on it to take peace from the earth, and that people should kill one another; and there was given to him a great sword.”
Revelation 6:3-4
Dear sisters and brothers in the Body of Christ,
Hudson Taylor, a British missionary to China, shared a vision in which he saw two World Wars, unrest in the nations for years, and an incredible spiritual awakening that would bring revival in Russia.
“I have seen a vision. I saw in this vision a great war that will encompass the whole world. I saw this war recess and then start again, actually being two wars. After this, I saw much unrest and revolts that will affect many nations. I saw in some places spiritual awakenings. In Russia, I saw that there will come a general, all-encompassing, national, spiritual awakening, so great that there could never be another like it. From Russia, I saw the awakening spread to many European countries, and then I saw an all-out awakening followed by the coming of Christ.”
“God’s offer” to Russia is redemption and revival. We understand that there is a role for the Body of Christ to play in that…as we together “stand in the gap” and pray for the precious people of this war torn nation! May a true spiritual awakening come to Russia, that will then encompass Europe, as the pioneer missionary saw. As his vision was accurate concerning the two world wars, may his vision concerning this spiritual awakening come true!
The clock is ticking on efforts to end Europe’s biggest conflict since World War II, one that has cost hundreds of thousands of lives. As President Trump’s administration considers whether or not a deal to end the 3 year war is within reach, Putin has declared a 3 day ceasefire in Ukraine from May 8th-10th. He ordered a full cessation of hostilities so that Russians can celebrate their May 9th “Victory Day,” memorializing the defeat of Nazi Germany in World War II and the restoration of peace in Europe.
It has been discerned through prayer that the reason Vladimir Putin cannot make a decision to pursue peace with Ukraine is because of the demonic entity called the Prince of War, that controls the Kremlin. President Trump, who clearly sees Putin’s ambivalence and wavering in his commitment regarding peace, said:
“I am not happy with the Russian strikes on KYIV. Not necessary, and very bad timing. Vladimir, STOP! 5000 soldiers a week are dying. Let’s get the Peace Deal DONE!”
In order to bring resolution to the situation, it is critical that President Trump understand the gravity of the spiritual warfare involved, so that he will have the wisdom and discernment to act in accord with what God has revealed.
Having this understanding, we are inviting those of national / global prayer networks to join with us in intercession.
1) For President Trump as he works to bring the war between Ukraine and Russia to an end;
2) Praying toward the 9th of May, on which a Restraining Order and a Notice of Eviction will be served on the principality known as the “Prince of War,” which is positioned above the Kremlin in Moscow;
3) Then, while corporately “standing in the gap,” we will proclaim the Covenant WELCOMING THE KING OF GLORY INTO RUSSIA.
As members of the Body of Christ worldwide, we are committing to this assignment on behalf of, and together with, those who will give their lives and hearts to the Lord, as the nation of Russia experiences a new freedom in the Spirit, following the removal of the demonic entity that has held it captive! We expect to see an end to the hostilities between Russia and Ukraine, as the Prince of Peace steps in and takes His rightful place.
Thank you for your prayerful consideration of this matter! We pray you will be moved by the Spirit and convicted to receive this assignment. Attached are two documents for your use on May 9th, when, as ONE BODY IN CHRIST, we will make these critical declarations corporately!
