Thursday, March 27, 2025 – The 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call
“A CALL TO THE WALL…ONE NATION UNDER GOD”
1-712-770-4340 Code: 543555 # (Ongoing call…24 hours a day!)
We begin our hour by praising and giving thanks to God!
“It is He Who sits above the circle of the earth, and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers,
Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, and spreads them out like a tent to dwell in.”
Isaiah 40:22
We sing: How Great Thou Art
Oh, Lord, my God, when I, in awesome wonder, consider all the worlds Thy hands have made,
I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder, Thy power throughout the universe displayed.
Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee: How great Thou art! How great Thou art!
Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee: How great Thou art! How great Thou art!
And when I think that God, His Son not sparing, sent Him to die, I scarce can take it in.
That on the cross, my burden gladly bearing, He bled and died to take away my sin.
Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee: How great Thou art! How great Thou art!
Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee: How great Thou art! How great Thou art!
When Christ shall come, with shout of acclamation and take me home, what joy shall fill my heart.
Then I shall bow, in humble adoration and then proclaim, my God, how great Thou art.
Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee: How great Thou art! How great Thou art!
Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee: How great Thou art! How great Thou art!

For us to receive and put on the Ephesians 6 “full armor of God” as we begin each hour,
that we might be protected as we continue to “stand in the gap” for our beloved country!
Pray.
The key assignment for the 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call is to intercede hourly
for the safety and security of our President, Donald John Trump,
and to pray for that which pertains to our nation!
We pray for his protection and ask that he be led by the Holy Spirit
so that he will discern truth and act for the good of the nation.
We bless our First Lady, Melania, their marriage and family, and cover them all with the Blood of Jesus.
Pray.
For those leaders that God has anointed, appointed, and elected,
as they take their places in the governments of each state and in our nation’s Capitol!
May they work together to clean up corruption in our government, and restore our electoral system.
Pray.
We will now spend the next 10 minutes praying for President Trump,
focusing our prayers against any demonic attacks against his physical body,
so that he will remain in good health, able to serve his entire 4-year term as our 47th US President!
Pray.
Strategic Focus for Thursday
WELCOME THE KING OF GLORY INTO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
ONE NATION UNDER GOD, INDIVISIBLE, WITH LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL!
ENGAGING IN A WARFARE OF LOVE: THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, GOD’S CHAMPION FOR WORLD EVANGELISM AND COMPASSION MINISTRY – PART 67
“All things were made through Him,
and without Him nothing was made that was made.”
John 1:3
Highlights from Senator Ted Cruz and Ben Ferguson’s interview Elon Musk in the White House – Part 4
Senator Ted Cruz and Ben Ferguson continue their sit-down interview with Elon Musk from the White House.
In Part 4 of their conversation, Elon shares his views on the future of humanity, from setting foot on Mars to the game-changing technology needed for a self-sustaining civilization beyond Earth.
Ted: You said that you were willing to spend a whole bunch of money… for free… to get NASA’s budget bigger… so we could go to Mars! So, when did it strike you: Okay, you’re going to have to do this?
Elon: It gets crazier. I couldn’t afford any of the US rockets, because as you know, the US rockets are way too expensive. Boeing / Lockheed rockets are crazy money; I didn’t have it, even with $180 M.
Ben: How much were they back then?
Elon: Well, with the additional stage to get to Mars, it would have been about $80 M. So technically, I could have afforded one of them, but I wanted to do two, in case one of them didn’t work. So, then, I didn’t have enough money for that. I was sort of prepared to waste half the money, and I figured if I had $90 M left, that’d be fine. So I went to Russia twice to try to buy ICBMs.
Ben: How’d that go? And who do you call?
Elon: The Russian rocket forces.
Ted: Do they sell ICBMs? Does that work? You got to tell us that story.
Elon: You know you can buy anything in Russia.
Ben: I want to know how you made that phone call and when you got there, how did that work?
Elon: And what do you tell your friends? Listen, I’m going to Russia to buy some ICBMs. I might not return. So it gets slightly less insane when you understand that the Russians had to demolish a bunch of their ICBMs because of SALT talks, basically an agreement between the United States and Russia to reduce the total number of ICBMs. Russia was obligated to scrap a bunch of their ICBMs. So you’ve look at the very biggest ICBMs. and convert those into a rocket, add additional stage and send something to Mars.
Ted: So those are big enough, with one more stage to get to Mars.
Elon: To send a small payload to Mars, yes. The SS18.
Ted: So you try to buy CBMs, do you succeed or no? Or do you figure out you got to build your own instead.
Elon: They kept raising the price on me. I figured they’re going to throw these things in the scrap yard anyway, so I should get a really good deal, right? The price started out at $4 M, then the next conversation they were at $8 M. Then the next conversation, they were like $19 M, and this is before we signed a contract.
Ted: By the way, was there another bidder or were you the only one trying to buy them?
Elon: I don’t know if there were other bidders, but if the price is increasing this much before the contract is signed, I was really going to get fleeced. So I got pretty frustrated there. Actually, in some cases, we got into shouting matches in Moscow. Some guy was shouting at me in Russian, and I’m shouting back at him! (Man, I should have recorded that.)
Ben: How many days were you there negotiating that first time? Was it ongoing?
Elon: These conversations took place over probably 6 months or so. The final trip there was with Mike Reffinue, who later became a NASA administrator. I actually realized in the course of this that my original premise was wrong, that America actually has plenty of will to go to Mars, but needs a way to Mars that is affordable and that doesn’t break the budget.
Ted: As you know, we couldn’t even get to the space station. We needed the Russians to get us to our own space station. That was embarrassing…really was pitiful.
Elon: I’m not sure most Americans know just how much we’re being fleeced. I think they got up to like $90 M a seat, for a seat that cost them $10 M. Yeah it was before SpaceX. That’s a lot of money.
Pray.
Ted: So a few months ago you and I were down in Boca Chica with the President for a Starship launch. It’s incredible what you built in Boca Chica. Five years ago it was an empty beach at the southern tip of TX. Now it’s a city and a factory where you’re building a rocket ship a month with incredible precision. But one of the things you said to me there is your philosophy on intellectual property…I talk to lots of CEOs who say: “We fight to guard our IP” but you had a very different approach. What’s your view of patents of the week, patterns of for those that innovation slowly.
Elon: Patents are for the weak,…for those who innovate slowly!
Ted: I literally do not know anyone else in business who would say something like that, it was a startling! What you said is: “Look, I assume everyone will steal everything, but by the time they steal it will be five generations beyond and it won’t matter.”
Elon: Yes, at Tesla, we open-source patents and we said anyone can use them for free. We only do patents at Tesla to avoid patent trolls causing trouble. So we try to look ahead and say, okay, patent trolls are going to file patents to block some things, so then we open source patents to make them free. I mean it when I say patents are for the weak. There are a few cases, in say, pharmaceuticals, where it might cost you a billion dollars to do a Phase 3 human trials, but then subsequently, the drug is very cheap to manufacture. So cases there are some in my opinion, which would massively reduce what can be patented. And say, because the whole point of patenting is to maximize innovation, not inhibit it. And in my opinion, maybe a controversial opinion, most patents inhibit innovation, they do not help it. So in my opinion, we should massively reduce what can be patented, because the whole point of patenting is to maximize innovation, not inhibit it. And in my opinion, most patents inhibit innovation, they do not help it. There are cases, such as a clinical trial that might cost a billion dollars, but then someone could immediately copy those drugs for a few dollars, and no one will pay for the billion-dollar pill. So you have to address the free rider problem; other than that, there should be no patents. The ideas are easy.
Ben: You want ideas to flow maximum to people, to get there faster and do things bigger.
Elon: The idea is the easy pot. The herd execution is the hard part. As the old saying goes, it’s 1% inspiration, and 99% perspiration.
Ted: I’ll say the perspiration part, you’re really damn good at also.
Pray.
Ted: Your companies are actually building stuff…cars, spaceships, things that, if they don’t work, it’s a real problem. The precision you manufacture things, how do you get that level of precision? How do you build a culture? You’re amazing at thinking outside the box. But what’s interesting is you may even be better at execution. How do you execute so effectively?
Elon: Well, I take a physics fresh principles approach to everything. It’s not as though I wanted to “in source” manufacturing. It’s just that I was unable to outsource it effectively. The idea at the beginning of Tesla was that we would outsource almost all the manufacturing, but then it turned out there were no good companies to outsource manufacturing to. It wasn’t peaceful. Outsourced manufacturing actually is the exception of the rule. Over time, we had to insource almost everything for Tesla… same for SpaceX. I became very good at manufacturing because I had to… no choice. At this point, I might know more about manufacturing than any human ever has, because I’ve manufactured so many different things and so many different arenas. I think probably more than anyone ever has.
Ted: Look, that sounds like an astonishing statement, but it’s not crazy. You’re somehow running Tesla, running SpaceX, running X and running the Boeing Company and Norlink and doing DOGE.
Pray.
TEd: How much do you sleep in a given night?
Elon: About six hours and average.
Ted: It wouldn’t have shocked me if you said three or four.
Ben: How many hours do you work a day?
Elon: I work almost every working hour.
Ted: Ben, he’s not kidding that. When Elan and I were first getting to know each other, I suggested we grab dinner sometime, and you said, I don’t eat dinner.
Elon: I don’t have social dinners, really.
Ted: The idea of going to a restaurant for two hours…it was just a matter of fact: ”Why would I go to dinner?” You work.
Elon: Yeah, I’ll have lunch, and have it brought in during meetings and continue meeting!
Pray.
Ben: How many nights have you slept at your offices, in your career, percentage wise? When you say, “I just got to take this nap because my body forces me to.” and I’ve got to get back to work fast and efficiently, without going somewhere else.
Elon: Well, I guess it started out with the first company; we were able to rent a leaky office which was $500 / month. The cheapest apartment we could find was $800 / month. We only had about $5K between my brother and I, so we got some couches that converted into beds, and then we’d turn the beds back into couches before anyone came. We would shower at the YMCA down the road…so that literally was what we did for several months. I was in great shape, working out at the Y. I’ve never thought to count it, but several hundred days, maybe, I don’t know.
Ted: So you’re now the richest man on earth? Do you still sleep at the office?
Elon: Well, that’s true…
Ted: Maybe on Mars, we’ll find someone else.
Elon: I think if someone is a sovereign head of a country, they’d be de facto richer…by a lot.
Ted: It’s been a pleasure, Elon. Thanks for being with us.
Pray.
We pray:
We rejoice in the brilliant mind that God has given Elon Musk. We pray that in his search for truth and life throughout the Universe, he will discover the Creator and Source of Life and all Truth. Pray.
