Wednesday, March 25, 2020 – The 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call
“A CALL TO THE WALL…ONE NATION UNDER GOD”
1-712-770-4340 Code: 543555 #
We begin our hour by praising and giving thanks to God!
“For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one,
and has broken down the middle wall of separation”
Ephesians 2:14
We sing: He is our Peace
He is our peace, Who has broken down every wall, He is our peace, He is our peace.
He is our peace, Who has broken down every wall, He is our peace, He is our peace.
Cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you, He is our peace, He is our peace.
Cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you, He is our peace, He is our peace.

The key assignment for the 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call is to intercede hourly for the safety and security of our President, Donald John Trump, and to pray for that which pertains to our nation!
We pray for our President’s protection from the coronavirus and cover him with the Blood of Jesus.
Let him respond to every situation by the leading of the Holy Spirit!
We refer those to You who are plotting and planning the demise of our beloved President!
We say “No!” to them and ask that You expose and foil all their plans! Thank You, Lord!
We bless our First Lady, Melania, their marriage, their son Barron and all their family members.
We bless our Vice President Mike Pence, his wife Karen and their family
and all those serving in this Administration.
We pray for the mass media, which is allowing itself to be used and exploited by the “father of lies.”
We ask that it either reverses course and reports accurately or be taken down.
We pray for the Federal Reserve Board members, to use their power to boost our nation’s economy.
Let them act in accord with what is good for the USA!
The 24/7 NSPC is praying for the 2020 National Elections,
positioning ourselves in intercession before the Lord on behalf of our President and nation!
COUNTDOWN: 224 days until the election!
Let us pray into this verse:
“You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is fixed on You,
because he trusts in You.”
Isaian 26:3
Strategic Focus for Wednesday
WELCOME THE KING OF GLORY INTO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
He is our Peace
“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace.
In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”
John 16:33
One of the names given to Jesus is the “PRINCE OF PEACE”. As His followers, we have the blessed assurance that we “may have peace” in Him! With minds “fixed” on Him, we can abide continuously in that peace…even in the midst of the toughest trials! Whenever we are facing uncertainty, troubles or sorrow, we need only to trust Him, remain calm, enter into His rest and abide in His peace. “He is our Peace”…and He has “overcome the world”!
At this hour, the Chinese virus / coronavirus / COVID-19 has, in one way or another, affected almost every person, family and community in our nation. Its impact on the American way of life has been profound. The only way to ward off anxiety and fear is to be securely anchored in Christ, knowing that the Prince of Peace has us firmly in His grip.
“In whose hand is the life of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind?”
Job 12:10
We pray:
- That as Jesus’ disciples, we will trust in Him, and remain in His peace…and as we do, we will exude His peace to those around us who may not yet have confessed Him as their Savior and Lord…opening the door for them and inviting them to enter into a relationship with Him!
Right now, the nation’s economy is being assaulted and there are critical decisions to be made. Saying the country was nearing the “the end of our historic battle” with coronavirus, President Trump emphasized his hope that the country will largely reopen for business by Easter — as his top economic advisor suggested Congress may soon pass an unprecedented fiscal stimulus package.
President Trump is weighing and evaluating all options regarding the timing for a “RESET”…the restarting of the nation once again, in order to sustain our economy, which has been virtually shut down due to the virus. Yesterday, he said: Our country has to get back to work, otherwise it’s going to be very hard to start it up again. We can’t lose the advantage that we have (and that he) would love to have the country opened up and just raring to go by Easter.”
We pray:
- That as the President considers all the ramifications of easing restrictions by Easter, that all Americans will continue to observe the guidelines of social distancing, hand washing and other protective measures to assure that the virus does not spread further.
- That he will be guided by the Holy Spirit in his decisions and will receive ONLY WISE COUNSEL from those who KNOW GOD and have HEARD FROM HIM in this matter. Any other counsel will not be considered!
As we are pondering the future, let’s take a look back …at American history, through the eyes of a WWII veteran. What he shares should both inspire and convict us! Read through it and then pray as the Spirit leads.
In the midst of this virus scare that is tormenting American, an 80+ year old man was asked by a younger friend if there was anything that he needed. He simply smiled and replied:
“Let me tell you what I need!
I need to believe that this is still the country my generation fought for…
I need to believe that this nation we died for will be handed over safely to our children and their children…
I need to know this generation will quit being a bunch of sissies…
that they will respect what they’ve been given…
and that they’ve earned what others sacrificed for.”
Pray.
The young man wasn’t sure where the conversation was going, so he sat there, quietly listening.
“You know, I was a little boy during WWII. Those were scary days.
We didn’t know if we were going to be speaking English, German or Japanese at the end of the war.
There was no certainty, no guarantees like Americans enjoy today.
No home went without sacrifice or loss. Every house, up and down every street, had someone in harm’s way.
Maybe their Daddy was a soldier, maybe their son was a sailor, maybe they had an uncle in the service.
Sometimes it was the whole family…fathers, sons and uncles, and having someone you love sent off to war…
it wasn’t any less frightening than it is today…it was as scary as hell..
Pray.
We didn’t have battlefront news. We didn’t have email or cell phones.
You sent them off to war…and you hoped…you prayed…
and might not have heard from them for months on end…if ever again!
Sometimes a mother would get a letter from her son… on the same day she learned about his death.
Pray.
And we sacrificed. You couldn’t buy things; everything was rationed.
You were only allowed so much milk per month, only so much bread, and toilet paper.
EVERYTHING was restricted for the war effort.
What you weren’t using, what you didn’t need, things you’d normally throw away…
they were saved and sorted for the war effort.
My generation was the original recycling movement in America.
Pray.
We had viruses back then, too…serious viruses…things like polio and measles.
It was nothing to walk to school and pass a house or two that was quarantined.
We didn’t shut down our schools or our cities, though.
We carried on, without masks, without hand sanitizer…and do you know what?
We persevered.
We overcame.
Pray.
We didn’t attack our President, we came together.
We rallied around the flag for the war.
Through thick or thin, we were in it to win…
and we would lose more boys in an hour of combat than we lose in entire wars today.”
Pray.
He slowly looked away… and there was a small tear in the corner of his eye. Then he continued:
“Today’s kids don’t know the meaning of sacrifice.
They think a sacrifice is not having coverage on their phone while they freely drive across the country.
Today’s kids are selfish and spoiled.
In my generation, we looked out for our elders.
We helped out with single moms whose husbands were either at war or dead from war.
Today’s kids rush the store, buying everything they can…no concern for anyone but themselves.
It’s shameful the way Americans behave these days.
None of them deserve the sacrifices their granddads made.
So, no I don’t need anything. I appreciate your offer but, I know I’ve been through worse things than this virus.
Pray.
Humbled by this man in his 80’s…and fighting back a tear of his own…all the young man could do was to thank the elderly gentleman for the history lesson, and leave his number, so he could be called in case of an emergency.
(Author Unknown…but definitely appreciated!)
We pray:
- That the younger generation will also be grateful for that elderly man…a patriotic American from a bygone era…one that has almost been forgotten. Although some may never fully understand the sacrifices made by those of the GREATEST GENERATION, may we all be eternally grateful to them. May we learn about them…and from them…and show them the respect they are due!
- That during this time of uncertainty, the millennials will think of the elderly they know and care for and interact with them, calling and checking on them, to let them know they are loved, and see if they have any needs they can help with.
- That after this crisis passes, all of us will have learned from what we have undergone, and remember, so that we are not held captive by similar situations in the future!
