Mar 22, 2024 – Notes Shabbat Call

03-22-24 Notes from the “International SHABBAT Celebration”

24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call

As we enter tonight’s call, we welcome the Presence of God and ask Him to help us to prepare our hearts for several observances this weekend: Palm Sunday, a National Day of Repentance, and the 6th Annual Night of Hosannas on Sunday, March 24th, and Purim, Saturday night through Sunday evening, which refers to the “lots” that the evil Haman cast to select the date of his proposed genocide of the Jewish people…the 13th day of Adar, the 12th month of the year on the Hebrew calendar. Haman’s plans were foiled by Mordecai and Esther, Mordacai’s cousin and adopted daughter, who became queen of Persia when chosen to marry King Ahasuerus / Xerxes. Purim celebrates the day of “deliverance with feasting and rejoicing among Jews. Around the world, the Book of Esther (Megillat Esther, in Hebrew) is read aloud. People cheer or boo when the heroes or villains are named and some wear costumes and masks to emulate the way Esther “masked” her Judaism from the King).

We will pray into this more after we pray to receive the Ephesians 6 armor of God, as we engage in the BATTLE OF THE BRIDE…A WARFARE OF LOVE on behalf of our beloved nation!

“Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day,

and having done all, to stand.

Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness,

and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace

above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.

And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;

praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit.”

Ephesians 6:10-18

We prayed corporately, receiving God’s armor and asking that we wear it with the dignity it deserves

Prayer requests:

For Jewish people worldwide, that they would come to know Yeshua, their Messiah.

Danielle (SC) Draw them to salvation (Jesus) and let them receive Him and the Kingdom!

For the end of the war in Israel, the complete defeat of Hamas and VICTORY for the Jews, so they will no longer be threatened with annihilation…“from the river to the sea.”

Kim (NY) as Your representatives, we petition You for an end to this war. We stand and partner with our

brothers and sisters in Israel and ask for peace! Let their enemies turn and receive truth and embrace

Israel.

For our own nation, which the forces of evil are plotting against! Deliver us from the evil that besets us and save You people! AMEN

Sherrill (TX) thanked God for the example of Moses, who told God if the people of Israel were

destroyed, it would not bring honor to Him. Save us, Lord, that You may be glorified, honored, and

respected by the nations of the world.

Following Sherrill’s prayer, we read the first two chapters of 1 John

1 John 1

1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of life—

2 the life was manifested, and we have seen, and bear witness, and declare to you that eternal life which was with the Father and was manifested to us—

3 that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ.

4 And these things we write to you that your joy may be full.

5 This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all

6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.

7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.

8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.

1 John 2

1 My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous

2 And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.

3 Now by this we know that we know Him if we keep His commandments.

4 He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

5 But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this, we know that we are in Him.

6 He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.

Ps Ioan then took us through these verses and explained them:

John spoke these words from his personal experience with Jesus. He welcomes all people to hear the truth and enter into fellowship with Jesus and the Father. John declares: “This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.”

As we become believers, there is a price to be able to walk in the light: we may NOT walk in darkness. “If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.” What is the answer? But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.” We, who are his and who walk in the light, need that continual cleansing to keep our relationship with the Father and Son. We must repent and turn back to God! Whatever is “not of God” in our lives has to go, and as we confess it as sin and repent, it is removed! “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

Regarding “unbelievers,” they are also invited to be cleansed and enter into that relationship. “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth (Jesus) is not in us.”

The great end-time revival will begin when people search their hearts and convicted, turn to the Lord, repenting.

In 1 John 2, John writes to believers! “My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin.” If we should sin, we have Jesus as our Advocate!

As we enter into Palm Sunday and journey through Passion Week, let the Holy Spirit show us where we have sinned. Then agree with Him, repent of it, and allow the Blood of Jesus to cleanse us.

We prayed corporately into this, reflecting on the depth of God’s love and mercy! HalleluYah!
