“A CALL TO THE WALL…ONE NATION UNDER GOD”
1-712-770-4340 Code: 543555 # (Ongoing call…24 hours a day!)
We begin our hour by praising and giving thanks to God!
‘You are my hiding place;
You shall preserve me from trouble; You shall surround me with songs of deliverance. “
Psalm 32:7
We sing: You are my Hiding Place
“You are my hiding place,
You always fill my heart with songs of deliverance.
Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You.
I will trust in You.
And now, let the weak say I am strong, let the poor say I am rich, in the strength of the Lord.”
(Repeat)
~~~~~
The key assignment for the 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call is to intercede hourly for the safety and security of our President, Donald John Trump, and to pray for that which pertains to our nation!
We pray for our President’s protection and cover him with the Blood of Jesus.
Let him respond to every situation by the leading of the Holy Spirit!
We refer those to You who are plotting and planning the demise of our beloved President!
We say “No!” to them and ask that You expose and foil all their plans! Thank You, Lord!
We pray that the “elite medical establishment” will no longer block our doctors from prescribing hydroxychloroquine as a treatment for the coronavirus. Let the doctors be free to practice as You lead!
We bless our First Lady, Melania, their marriage, their son Barron and all their family members.
We bless our Vice President Mike Pence, his wife Karen and their family
and all those serving in this Administration.
We pray for the mass media, which is being used and exploited by the “father of lies.”
We ask that it either reverses course and reports accurately or be taken down.
We pray for the Federal Reserve Board members, to use their power to boost our nation’s economy.
Let them act in accord with what is good for the USA!
The 24/7 NSPC is praying for the 2020 National Elections,
positioning ourselves in intercession before the Lord on behalf of our President and nation!
COUNTDOWN: 140 days until the election!
Let us pray into this verse:
“Oh, how great is Your goodness, which You have laid up for those who fear You, which You have prepared for those who trust in You in the presence of the sons of men! You shall hide them in the secret place of Your Presence from the plots of man; You shall keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.”
Psalm 31:19-20
Strategic Focus for Wednesday
WELCOME THE KING OF GLORY INTO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
ONE NATION UNDER GOD, INDIVISIBLE, WITH LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL!
Safe Policing for Safe Communities
“The salvation of the righteous is from the Lord; He is their strength in the time of trouble and the Lord shall help them and deliver them; He shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in Him.”
Psalm 37:39-40
As the nation grapples with racial disparities in policing, the criminal justice system, and calls to dismantle entire police departments, President Trump held a briefing in the Rose Garden at which he signed an Executive Order on law enforcement reform, titled “Safe Policing for Safe Communities.” President Trump said: “The overall goal is we want law and order. It’s about justice also. It’s about safety.” A release from the White House, which preceded the signing, said: “Both public safety and public trust are crucial to the law enforcement mission. Tomorrow’s Executive Order will uphold clear and high policing standards, promote accountability in law enforcement, and help equip police officers for constructive community engagement.”
President Trump’s Executive Order order addresses:
- The “use of force” best practices;
- Information sharing… to track officers who have repeated complaints against them;
- Federal incentives for police departments to deploy non-police experts on issues like mental health, homelessness and addiction.
The White House said the order would “help law enforcement build trust and effectively serve the community as our first line of defense here at home,” and emphasized that President Trump “stands behind our dedicated law enforcement all the way.”
We pray:
- That this Executive Order will be a start in helping law enforcement to rebuild trust and effectively serve our communities, as our first line of defense here at home. Pray.
Let us stand in agreement with our President and pray into these key excerpts from his
Executive Order on Safe Policing for Safe Communities
- As Americans, we believe that all persons are created equal and endowed with the inalienable rights to life and liberty. A fundamental purpose of government is to secure these inalienable rights. Federal, State, local, tribal, and territorial law enforcement officers place their lives at risk every day to ensure that these rights are preserved. Law enforcement officers provide the essential protection that all Americans require to raise their families and lead productive lives. The relationship between our fellow citizens and law enforcement officers is an important element in their ability to provide that protection. By working directly with their communities, law enforcement officers can help foster a safe environment where we all can prosper. Pray.
- Unfortunately, there have been instances in which some officers have misused their authority, challenging the trust of the American people, with tragic consequences for individual victims, their communities, and our Nation. All Americans are entitled to live with the confidence that the law enforcement officers and agencies in their communities will live up to our Nation’s founding ideals and will protect the rights of all persons. Particularly in African-American communities, we must redouble our efforts as a Nation to swiftly address instances of misconduct. The Constitution declares in its preamble that one of its primary purposes was to establish Justice. Generations of Americans have marched, fought, bled, and died to safeguard the promise of our founding document and protect our shared inalienable rights. Federal, State, local, tribal, and territorial leaders must act in furtherance of that legacy. Pray.
- State and local law enforcement agencies must constantly assess and improve their practices and policies to ensure transparent, safe, and accountable delivery of law enforcement services to their communities. Independent credentialing bodies can accelerate these assessments, enhance citizen confidence in law enforcement practices, and allow for the identification and correction of internal deficiencies before those deficiencies result in injury to the public or to law enforcement officers. The Attorney General shall…allocate Department of Justice discretionary grant funding only to those State and local law enforcement agencies that have sought or are in the process of seeking appropriate credentials from a reputable independent credentialing body. Pray.
- State or local law enforcement agency’s use-of-force policies prohibit the use of chokeholds, a physical maneuver that restricts an individual’s ability to breathe for the purposes of incapacitation, except in those situations where the use of deadly force is allowed by law. The Attorney General shall create a database to coordinate the sharing of information between and among Federal, State, local, tribal, and territorial law enforcement agencies concerning instances of excessive use of force related to law enforcement matters…and shall include a mechanism to track…terminations or de-certifications of law enforcement officers, criminal convictions of law enforcement officers for on-duty conduct, and civil judgments against law enforcement officers for improper use of force…and for instances where a law enforcement officer resigns or retires while under active investigation related to the use of force. Pray.
- Since the mid-twentieth century, America has witnessed a reduction in targeted mental health treatment. Ineffective policies have left more individuals with mental health needs on our Nation’s streets, which has expanded the responsibilities of law enforcement officers. As a society, we must take steps to safely and humanely care for those who suffer from mental illness and substance abuse in a manner that addresses such individuals’ needs and the needs of their communities. It is the policy of the United States to promote the use of appropriate social services as the primary response to individuals who suffer from impaired mental health, homelessness, and addiction, recognizing that, because law enforcement officers often encounter such individuals suffering from these conditions in the course of their duties, all officers should be properly trained for such encounters.
- The Attorney General shall…identify and develop opportunities to train law enforcement officers with respect to encounters with individuals suffering from impaired mental health, homelessness, and addiction.
- The Secretary of Health and Human Services shall survey community-support models addressing mental health, homelessness, and addiction…and summarize the results of this survey… which shall include specific recommendations regarding how appropriated funds can be reallocated to support widespread adoption of successful models.
- The Attorney General…shall develop and propose new legislation to the Congress that could be enacted to enhance the tools and resources available to improve law enforcement practices and build community engagement. Pray.
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. spoke eloquently about the things we are dealing with when he said:
“Morality cannot be legislated, but behavior can be regulated. Judicial decrees may not change the heart, but they can restrain the heartless.”
The reality is that “the heart of the matter is a matter of the heart” and hearts can only be changed and transformed by the ONE Who made them. Let us pray into the following verses, asking the Lord for revelation, salvation and restoration for our nation!
We pray:
- For supernatural healing that will bring real reconciliation…beginning with that between God and man.
“And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses.”
Colossians 2:13
Pray.
- For people to come into right relationship with God, so that they can understand that what has seemed to be a “skin problem” is actually a SIN problem. Let them come to know that God made only one race…the human race…and the precious shed Blood of Jesus was for us all!
“And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth”
Act 17:26
Pray.
- That the Spirit of God will lead us into the true unity which is expressed by the love we show to one another.
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious oil upon the head, Running down on the beard, The beard of Aaron, Running down on the edge of his garments. It is like the dew of Hermon, Descending upon the mountains of Zion; For there the Lord commanded the blessing— Life forevermore.
Psalm 133
