We begin our hour by praising and giving thanks to God! 

“Teach me to do Your will, for You are my God; Your Spirit is good.

    The key assignment for the 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call is to intercede hourly for the safety and security of our President, Donald John Trump, and to pray for that which pertains to our nation!

We pray for our President’s protection and cover him with the Blood of Jesus.  

Let him respond to every situation by the leading of the Holy Spirit!

We refer those to You who are plotting and planning the demise of our beloved President! 

We say “No!” to them and ask that You expose and foil all their plans! Thank You, Lord! 

We pray that the “elite medical establishment” will no longer block our doctors from prescribing hydroxychloroquine as a treatment for the coronavirus. Let our doctors be free to practice as You lead! 

We bless our First Lady, Melania, their marriage, their son Barron and all their family members.

We bless our Vice President Mike Pence, his wife Karen and their family

and all those serving in this Administration. 

We pray for the mass media, which is being used and exploited by the “father of lies.”

We ask that it either reverses course and reports accurately, or be taken down.

We pray for the Federal Reserve Board members, to use their power to boost our nation’s economy. 

Let them act in accord with what is good for the USA!

The 24/7 NSPC is praying for the 2020 National Elections, 

positioning ourselves in intercession before the Lord on behalf of our President and nation!  

COUNTDOWN: 123 days until the election!

Strategic Focus for Saturday

WELCOME THE KING OF GLORY INTO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA 

ONE NATION UNDER GOD, INDIVISIBLE, WITH LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL! 

Independence Day – Celebrating 244 Years as a Nation!

“He who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.”

James 1:25

On July 2, 1776, after a long and wrenching debate, the Continental Congress voted on the final draft of our Declaration of Independence and declared our independence from England. It was unanimously resolved that, 

“These united colonies are, and of right, ought to be free and Independent States; 

that they are absolved from all allegiance to the British Crown; 

and that all political connection between them and the State of Great Britain is, and ought to be, dissolved.”

Over the next two days, the final edits were made to the document that would announce Congress’ decision to the world. On July 4, the document was finally sent to the printing press. Hence the masthead at the top: 

“In Congress, July 4, 1776. A Declaration by the Representatives of the United States of America.”

The printing of the Declaration of Independence on July 4th transformed what was a political decision by a relatively 

small group of delegates sitting in Philadelphia into a public document known throughout the entire world.  It was a public statement to the American people about what their kind of government was going to be…a transparent, democratic government…which Lincoln later said was ”of the people, by the people, for the people.” The virtues of our Declaration of Independence, the definitions and practices of freedom, prosperity and fair government,  shared internationally on July 4th, took on new life, thanks to the independence declared by a small band of bold and courageous Founding Fathers!

Pray.

  • In humble gratitude for allowing us to be part of this nation, which was “conceived in liberty and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal.” Pray.
  • For our 244 years as a nation, and the opportunity to experience the “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness” which comes through being in right relationship with You, Lord… and with one another! Help us to restore those relationships fully!  Pray.
  • For our President, who is Your son and our nation’s leader, that he might receive and cherish the guidance from Your Spirit moment by moment, so that he can navigate through troubled waters to safe harbor! Pray.

On July 3rd, John Adams wrote to his wife Abigail in far-away Boston, and exulted in the birth of our new nation: As this focus was being prepared,  tears streaming down in humble gratitude for the words penned by Adams, our first Vice President and the second President of the United States. His Independence Day message resonates in the hearts of patriotic Americans and inspires us to press onward “KADIMA!” in our quest to see our nation’s Godly foundations restored so that we might fulfill our destiny in the “end times harvest”!  Let us read and pray into this:

“I am apt to believe it will be celebrated by succeeding generations as the great anniversary festival. It ought to be commemorated as “the day of deliverance”, by solemn acts of devotion to God Almighty. It ought to be solemnized with pomp and parade, with shows, games, sports, guns, bells, bonfires, and illuminations, from one end of this continent to the other, from this time forward forevermore.  Pray.

You will think me transported with enthusiasm, but I am not. I am well aware of the toil and blood and treasure that it will cost us to maintain this Declaration and support and defend these states. Yet, through all the gloom, I can see the rays of ravishing light and glory. I can see that the end is more than worth all the means. And that posterity will triumph in that day’s transaction, although we should rue it, which I trust in God we shall not… Pray.

It may be the will of Heaven that America will suffer calamities still more wasting, and distress yet more dreadful. If this is to be the case, it will have this good effect at least. It will inspire us with many virtues which we have not, and correct many errors, follies and vices which threaten to disturb, dishonor and destroy us. The furnace of affliction produces refinement, in States as well as individuals…but I must submit all my hopes and fears to an overruling Providence, in which, unfashionable as the faith may be, I firmly believe.” Pray.

The prophetic nature of John Adams vision still makes the heart race and takes the breath away, some 244 years later. 

  • Predicting “illuminations” (an 18th Century term for fireworks displays) to celebrate Independence Day from “one end of the continent to the other” remains prescient, showing the visionary he was. At the time Adams wrote those words, the colonies occupied only a narrow, intermittent strip of settlements along the Eastern seaboard, so the very notion of a true continental nation looked wildly implausible, even unimaginable.  Pray.
  • Those who insist on dismissing or denying the nation’s deeply religious heritage should ponder the words of this “Atlas of Independence.” Adams expects that we will celebrate the nation’s founding through “solemn acts of devotion to God Almighty.” After bitter, exhausting political battles in Philadelphia (corresponding to simultaneous — disastrous — military battles conducted by Washington’s army in New York) he recognized the role of Providence in the ongoing struggle and, at a moment of exultation, proved himself not just a far-seeing leader, but a prophet. Pray.
  • In a prior letter to Abigail (in 1775), Adams went even further in emphasizing the association of patriotism and religiosity – a connection maintained with interruption from his time to our own. “Statesmen may plan and speculate for liberty, but Religion and Morality alone…establish the principles upon which freedom can securely stand. A patriot must be a religious man.” Pray.

With his words in mind, it makes sense to emphasize the always appropriate messages of “God Bless America” and “America, America, God shed His grace on thee,” and the last verse of “The Star Spangled Banner” which contains the lines – “And triumph we must, as our cause it is just, and this be our motto: In God is our trust.”  

We pray:

  • That all Americans will observe our nation’s founding in the spirit of our Founders – combining celebration with solemnity, and expressing our devotion to God and country. Pray.
  • That the heart and passion of our Founding fathers will be renewed within our generation and the generations to come, causing each to treasure and protect our God given freedoms and great American heritage! Pray.  

The Declaration of Independence closed with powerful words, which appealed to God to bless our righteous intentions, severed the ties that bound us to an unrighteous ruler, and decreed our freedom and right to be independent.  Our Founding Fathers pledged their lives, fortunes and sacred honor to see that take place! 

“We, therefore, the Representatives of the United States of America, in General Congress, Assembled, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions,  do, in the Name, and by Authority of the good People of these Colonies, solemnly publish and declare, That these United Colonies are, and of Right ought to be Free and Independent States; that they are Absolved from all Allegiance to the British Crown,  and that all political connection between them and the State of Great Britain, is and ought to be totally dissolved; and that as Free and Independent States, they have full Power to levy War, conclude Peace, contract Alliances, establish Commerce, and to do all other Acts and Things which Independent States may of right do. And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.

We pray:

  • That Americans will study, learn about and understand our history as a nation…and together, rejoice over all the good that we have done, and repent for that which we ought to be ashamed! Pray.  
  • Lord, bring Your people together,  in humility before Your Throne, to pray corporately, seeking Your will and way, that our nation’s wounds might be healed so that we can fulfill our destiny in Christ Jesus!  Pray.  
  • That this will truly be a happy and blessed celebration all across our nation, and that as families and friends gather, they will make time to thank God for our liberties and the privilege of living in the United States of America!  Pray.
