We begin our hour by praising and giving thanks to God! 

“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust.”

    The key assignment for the 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call is to intercede hourly for the safety and security of our President, Donald John Trump, and to pray for that which pertains to our nation!

We pray for our President’s protection and cover him with the Blood of Jesus.  

Let him respond to every situation by the leading of the Holy Spirit!

We refer those to You who are plotting and planning the demise of our beloved President! 

We say “No!” to them and ask that You expose and foil all their plans! Thank You, Lord! 

We pray for ourselves and our loved ones, and put on the full armor of God!

We pray for the coronavirus to be taken down by Almighty God…no second wave…no more spikes…

just the full and complete destruction of the virus in the United States!

We pray that the “elite medical establishment” will no longer block our doctors from prescribing hydroxychloroquine as a treatment for the coronavirus. Let the doctors be free to practice as You lead! 

We bless our First Lady, Melania, their marriage, their son Barron and all their family members.

We bless our Vice President Mike Pence, his wife Karen and their family

and all those serving in this Administration. 

We pray for the mass media, which is being used and exploited by the “father of lies.”

We ask that it either reverses course and reports accurately, or be taken down.

We pray for the Federal Reserve Board members, to use their power to boost our nation’s economy. 

Let them act in accord with what is good for the USA!

We continue to pray that the President will not agree to any division of the Holy Land!

The 24/7 NSPC is praying for the 2020 National Elections, positioning ourselves in intercession 

before the Lord, asking for a LANDSLIDE VICTORY for President Donald John Trump!

Strategic Focus for Monday

Praying for our Upcoming National Elections – Border Security

“Violence shall no longer be heard in your land, neither wasting nor destruction within your borders; but you shall call your walls Salvation, and your gates Praise.”

Isaiah 60:18

One of the deepest longings of the human soul is to be safe and secure and God satisfies that need as He brings us true security in an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ! He is our Peace, our Refuge, our Freedom, our ALL in all!  

People flee countries that don’t have this unique combination of security and freedom. That’s why communist countries build walls… to keep people in. We need walls to keep people out!  People are literally “dying” to come to this “land of opportunity”… seeking freedom and prosperity…and neither of these are possible without secure borders. 

Everyone wants our homes to be safe, but the problem is that the security of our homes is affected by the security on our streets, which is affected by the security in our cities, which is affected by the security in our states and country. Security requires safe streets, reliable and adequate infrastructure, environmental protection and a welfare base kept to a sustainable limit. It also requires the rule of law which helps create a level playing field, enable the security and prosperity of America, and prevent the type of corruption and poverty seen in a fallen nation like Venezuela.

Do you have locks on your doors, an alarm system, and a yard that is fenced in so your children can play outside safely? Do you have passwords on your computers and bank accounts?  Do you protect your credit cards and Social Security number? Do you think signal lights, curbs, guardrails and traffic lines are a necessity, or should people be allowed to drive any way they want? How about secure borders – are they necessary or optional? The truth is secure borders are critical…and the life we have in the United States would be impossible without them.

We pray:

• That all Americans will feel secure – economically and personally – and have the freedom to innovate, invest and extend themselves in making a living and prospering! Pray. 
• That our people will honor and adhere to the rule of law, so our security can be maintained and economic security be fostered! Pray. 

Today, as we continue with our series of focuses comparing the Republican and Democrat platforms, we will discuss the topic of security…specifically, BORDER SECURITY.  We will be provided with information that will fuel our intercession regarding our upcoming elections as we learn that positions being taken on this by the two political parties.   Let us begin with what the Bible says about this issue of Border Security. 

In the Old Testament, a number of provisions were made to secure and protect the cultural integrity of Israel. The government was to protect the borders, punish those who broke the laws, and treat both citizens and aliens with respect and dignity. However, these provisions didn’t apply to foreigners who were temporarily in the country for work or other purposes.

• It was required that all foreigners dwelling in Israel must enter into the covenant to obey God. 

“Gather the people together, men and women and little ones, and the stranger who is within your gates, that they may hear and that they may learn to fear the Lord your God and carefully observe all the words of this law, and that their children, who have not known it, may hear and learn to fear the Lord your God  as long as you live in the land which you cross the Jordan to possess.”

Deuteronomy 31:12-13 

• Those who did not support God’s leadership were not allowed to enter the land. Aliens in Israel were not given the same status and rights as Jews in the land. 

“One law and one custom shall be for you and for the stranger who dwells with you. ”

Numbers 15:16

• At the same time, the Jews were mandated by God to treat aliens with respect.

 “Do not mistreat or oppress a foreigner, for you were foreigners in Egypt.” 

Exodus 22:21 

We pray:

• In gratitude for such simple “rules and regulations” being set forth, to provide the protection and security of His people while permitting aliens to live among them as long as they understood and the obeyed covenantal laws of God! Pray.
• That You, Lord, will place those individuals in our Congress who will forge such simple and fair laws for our nation at this hour. Pray.
• That our borders will remain secure and be inviolate, and that those who, in good conscience, come here, seeking to be a part of the American Dream, will find a home among us!  Pray. 

As we begin to compare the two-party platforms regarding Border Security, we see two very different perspectives. As we said on Monday, there is no “spectrum” (which would indicate a range of differences between two extreme or opposite points). There are two specific perspectives, offered by those that are righteous and just, and those who are not! The two parties’ platforms clearly reflect the hearts and intentions of those who are in Christ and those who are not! Read each of the following points…and pray into them.

Where the Parties Stand on the issue of Border Security

Republican Party Platform

“To keep our people safe, we must secure our borders, enforce our immigration laws, and properly screen refugees and other immigrants entering from any country.”  Pray. 

“Our immigration system must protect American working families and their wages, for citizens and legal immigrants alike, in a way that will improve the economy.”  Pray.

“We oppose any form of amnesty for those who, by breaking the law, have disadvantaged those who have obeyed it.”  Pray. 

“We support stiffer penalties, such as a mandatory minimum sentence of five years, for any illegal alien who illegally reenters our nation after already having been deported.” Pray. 

“Because ‘sanctuary cities’ violate federal law and endanger their own citizens, they should not be eligible for federal funding.” Pray. 

“To ensure our national security, refugees who cannot be carefully vetted cannot be admitted to the country.”  Pray. 

We pray:

• That the Godly standards, adhered to and advocated by the Republican platform, will be well received and affirmed by the American people as they VOTE on November 3rd, electing and putting God-fearing, nation-loving conservatives in every office! Pray.
• That we will protect and secure our borders and remove those who do not respect our laws. Pray.
• That only those who will respect our laws and integrate into our national culture will be allowed to enter! Pray.  

Now, as we consider what the Democrats have put in their platform, we are encouraged to “read between the lines” to discern how the socialists are working their way into each aspect of American life, under the guise of “caring” for people…all the while promoting their global agenda of socialism and communism. Despite their claims of FREE! FREE! FREE! there is always a price to be paid…and those who are not vigilant will pay it with their lives! 

Democratic Party Platform

“We will defend and implement President Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals and Deferred Action of Parents of Americans executive actions to help DREAMers, parents of citizens, and lawful permanent residents avoid deportation.” 

“We will work to ensure that all Americans – regardless of immigration status – have access to quality health care.…” 

“We will support efforts by states to make DREAMers eligible for driver’s licenses and in-state college tuition. We will invest in culturally-appropriate immigrant integration services, expand access to English language education, and promote naturalization….”

We pray:

• That the hidden agendas behind each of these “planks” will be seen for what they are…socialist Democrat steps to COMMUNISM…which is being foisted on the American public, and will ultimately turn our country into a “free for all”, destroying our economy and putting us in bondage! Pray. 

• That we will vigilantly maintain the security of our borders so that millions who would flood this country and overwhelm it will be prevented from doing so.  Pray.   
• That people would understand that controlled immigration and secured borders will protect our nation, and that the Bible affirms that borders are legitimate and walls are good things. Pray.  
• That our government will ensure secure national borders, to track everyone who comes into the USA. and to ensure that no one who would seek to do harm is able to enter. That’s consistent with the God-ordained role of government  Pray

We are blessed to live in the United States of America., but we need to recognize that it’s impossible for everyone to live here. The best way to protect America and help people outside of our country is to control immigration at a sustainable level while exporting our ideas of economic and political liberty to other nations. We may not be able to bring everyone to America, but we can share the ideals of America with everyone!
