Monday, July 13, 2020 – The 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call

    The key assignment for the 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call is to intercede hourly for the safety and security of our President, Donald John Trump, and to pray for that which pertains to our nation!

We pray for our President’s protection and cover him with the Blood of Jesus.  

Let him respond to every situation by the leading of the Holy Spirit!

We refer those to You who are plotting and planning the demise of our beloved President! 

We say “No!” to them and ask that You expose and foil all their plans! Thank You, Lord! 

We pray for the coronavirus to be taken down by Almighty God…no second wave…no more spikes…

just the full and complete destruction of the virus in the United States!

We pray that the “elite medical establishment” will no longer block our doctors from prescribing hydroxychloroquine as a treatment for the coronavirus. Let the doctors be free to practice as You lead! 

We bless our First Lady, Melania, their marriage, their son Barron and all their family members.

We bless our Vice President Mike Pence, his wife Karen and their family

and all those serving in this Administration. 

We pray for the mass media, which is being used and exploited by the “father of lies.”

We ask that it either reverses course and reports accurately, or be taken down.

We pray for the Federal Reserve Board members, to use their power to boost our nation’s economy. 

Let them act in accord with what is good for the USA!

We continue to pray that the President will not agree to any division of the Holy Land!

The 24/7 NSPC is praying for the 2020 National Elections, positioning ourselves in intercession 

before the Lord, asking for a LANDSLIDE VICTORY for President Donald John Trump!

Strategic Focus for Monday

Praying for our Upcoming National Elections – Healthcare

“Behold, I will bring it health and healing; I will heal them and reveal to them the abundance of peace and truth.”

Jeremiah 33:6

Today, we continue with our series of focuses that will fuel our intercession regarding our upcoming elections. They will provide us with valid information on key issues and inform us of the positions taken by the two political parties.  We are grateful to Pierre Bynum of the Family Research Council for giving us permission to use their material, and we bless their ministry for all that it does for the King and His Kingdom.  Pray.

Today’s topic is Healthcare. We begin with what the Bible says about this issue:

The Bible admonishes us to consider the plight of the poor. We cannot ignore them and their needs. 

“Whoever gives to the poor will not want, but he who hides his eyes will get many a curse.”  

Proverbs 28:27

• The poor deserve our consideration and compassion. 

 “If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them,  ‘Go in peace, be warmed and filled,’ without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that?”

James 2:15-16

• We must be on guard, not permitting any welfare system that would enable bad habits that lead people into poverty…especially laziness and neglect.  

“Go to the ant, O sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise.” 

Proverbs 6:6

• We should also reject any welfare system that rewards idleness and poor work habits. The Apostle Paul issued this command: 

“If anyone is not willing to work, let him not eat.”

1 Thessalonians 3:10

• We are charged to take care of extended family 

“But if a widow has children or grandchildren, let them first learn to show godliness to their own household  and to make some return to their parents, for this is pleasing in the sight of God” 

1 Timothy 5:4

• We are also warned about those who will not provide for their families.

“But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever” 

1 Timothy 5:8

We pray:

• In agreement with our wonderful Vice President, we declare:
  • That we’re going to stay focused at this task force on saving lives, Pray.
  • That we will meet the needs of our state and our healthcare workers, Pray.
  • That we will protect the vulnerable, Pray. 
  • That we will reopen America’s economy, schools, work, and worship. Pray.

Where the Parties Stand on the issue of  Healthcare

As we begin to compare the two-party platforms, it is evident that there are two very divergent perspectives.   There is no “spectrum” (which would indicate a range of differences between two extreme or opposite points). There are two specific perspectives, offered by those that are righteous and just, and those who are not! The two parties’ platforms clearly reflect the hearts and intentions of those who are in Christ and those who are not! Read and pray into the following points.

Republican Party Platform

For Medicare…”we propose these reforms: 

• Impose no changes for persons 55 or older. 
• Give others the option of traditional Medicare or transition to a premium-support model designed to strengthen patient choice, promote cost-saving competition among providers, and better guard against the fraud and abuse that now diverts billions of dollars every year away from patient care. 
• Guarantee to every enrollee an income-adjusted contribution toward a plan of their choice, with catastrophic protection. 
• Without disadvantaging present retirees or those nearing retirement, set a more realistic age for eligibility in light of today’s longer life span.” Pray.

For Medicaid…”we applaud the Republican governors and state legislators who have undertaken the hard work of modernizing Medicaid. We will give them a free hand …by block-granting the program without strings.” Pray. 

“America’s healthcare professionals should not be forced to choose between following their faith and practicing their profession.”  Pray. 

“We support the ability of all organizations to provide, purchase, or enroll in healthcare coverage consistent with their religious, moral, or ethical convictions with-out discrimination or penalty.” Pray.

We pray:

• In thanksgiving for President who cares for and is concerned with affordable healthcare of all Americans, and the elimination of Obamacare, a drastically reduced cost of drugs, and removing regulations that hamper the release of life saving and therapeutic treatments. Pray.

As we consider the points on the Democrats platform, read “between the lines”, with discerning hearts, and see how socialists are working their way into each part, under the guise of “caring” for people…promoting ethnic, gender and socio-economic division.

Democratic Party Platform

“Democrats believe that healthcare is a right, not a privilege, and our health care system should put people before profits…never falter in our generations-long fight to guarantee health care as a fundamental right for every American.”  (if it is a “right”, there is no responsibility to contribute)  Pray.

“Democrats have been fighting to secure universal health care for the American people for generations…” (promoted and endorsed by socialist and “progressive” governments)  Pray.

“Democrats will make sure that the United States finally enacts national paid family and medical leave by passing a family and medical leave act that would provide all workers at least 12 weeks of paid leave to care for a new child or address a personal or family member’s serious health issue.” (a “vote-getting“ promise, without “teeth”) Pray.

“We continue to see unacceptable differences in health outcomes by race, ethnicity, and sexual orientation. A growing body of research demonstrates the link between social factors – such as poverty, unemployment, experience of discrimination, and housing instability – and poor health.” (continuously planting division in our nation) Pray.

“… we will work with health professionals to ensure that all children have access to mental health care.” (Vice President pence said that some 7 million children in America deal with mental health issues, and the services and the counseling they receive at their schools. Should ONLY be with their parents’ consent.)  Pray.

We pray:

• That those who see the “candy-coated” promises of this platform will reject it and the strings of socialism that are attached to it. Pray.
• That the promotion of free healthcare for all, including illegal aliens, supported by liberal progressives like Joe Biden, AOC and Pelosi (and company) will not be accepted. Pray.
