WALKING IN HIS GLORIOUS LIGHT
PEACE A PERFECT BOND OF UNITY
“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts,
to which indeed you were called in one body; and be thankful.”
Colossians 3:15
Our Focus for today will be PEACE A PERFECT BOND OF UNITY
May the GOD of Peace release His Peace over the Nations of the earth.
May He give us the BODY OF CHRIST complete wholeness, nothing missing,
nothing lacking, as we draw together AS ONE in this day of the Epiphany…
a Christian holiday celebrating the revelation of God the Son as a human being in Jesus Christ.
epiphany |əˈpifənē|
noun (plural epiphanies) (also Epiphany)
the manifestation of Christ to the Gentiles as represented by the Magi
(Matthew 2:1–12).
• the festival commemorating the Epiphany on January 6th.
• a manifestation of a divine or supernatural being
• a moment of sudden revelation or insight
peace |pēs|
noun
1– freedom from disturbance; quiet and tranquility: mental calm; serenity:
2– freedom from or the cessation of war or violence:
3 – (the peace) a ceremonial handshake or kiss exchanged during a service in some churches (now usually only in the Eucharist), symbolizing Christian love and unity.
Etymology
The term ‘peace’ originates most recently from the Anglo-French “pes”, and the Old French”pais”, meaning “peace, reconciliation, silence, agreement” (11th century).
But, “Pes” itself comes from the Latin “pax”, meaning “peace, compact, agreement, treaty of peace, tranquility, absence of hostility, harmony.”
The English word came into use in various personal greetings from c.1300 as a translation of the Hebrew word “shalom”,
which, according to Jewish theology, comes from a Hebrew verb meaning ‘to be complete, whole’.
Although ‘peace’ is the usual translation, however, it is an incomplete one, because ‘shalom,’ which is also cognate with the Arabic “salaam”, has multiple other meanings in addition to peace, (including justice, good health, safety, well-being, prosperity, equity, security, good fortune, and friendliness).
At a personal level, peaceful behaviors are kind, considerate, respectful, just, and tolerant of others’ beliefs and behaviors — tending to manifest goodwill.
Let us search the scriptures to know what God has promised us,
asking the Holy Spirit to release deeper revelations and greater understanding
of our part in God’s overall purposes of restoration of the Church,
the United States of America, and the nations of the earth.
Then place our TRUST and HOPE in HIM,
knowing Almighty God will accomplish all He purposes to do.
Here are today’s scriptures:
Ephesians 2:14-18
2 Corinthians 13:11
1 Corinthians 14:33
2 Thessalonians 3:16
Colossians 1:19-22
1 Peter 3:11
Hebrews 13:14
Philippians 4:7-9
Basic instructions: Please read each scripture one at a time, expounding on it, drawing on the revelation being made! After praying over it, as the Holy Spirit leads, move on to the next scripture doing the same. Please use the console when able and ask individuals to identify themselves when they pray. Please do not ask for a roll call at the beginning of your session as it uses time we could spend on praying.

Let God’s LIGHT penetrate the darkness and do not focus on the darkness,
but rather on how all is being brought out into the LIGHT.
While WALKING IN HIS GLORIOUS LIGHT, our beings are flooded by that LIGHT
and we rejoice as all is being renewed in the LIGHT!
As we Consecrate ourselves to HIM anew,
we reject all that is profane and embrace all that is HOLY, to now live a “fasted’ lifestyle,
FOCUSED ON GOD ALONE!
“Heaven, Come Down!”
