Monday, January 18, 2021 – The 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call

“A CALL TO THE WALL…ONE NATION UNDER GOD”

1-712-770-4340   Code:  543555 #  (Ongoing call…24 hours a day!)

We begin our hour by praising and giving thanks to God!

“Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing

that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”

Romans 15:13

We sing: I Believe

I believe for every drop of rain that falls, a flower grows.

I believe that somewhere in the darkest night, a candle glows.

I believe for everyone who goes astray, someone will come to show the way.

I believe, I believe.

I believe above a storm, the smallest prayer will still be heard.

I believe that Someone in the great somewhere hears every word.

Every time I hear a new born baby cry… or touch a leaf… or see the sky,

then I know why, I believe.

Every time I hear a new born baby cry… or touch a leaf… or see the sky,

then I know why, I believe…I believe.

Strategic Focus for Monday

WELCOME THE KING OF GLORY INTO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

ONE NATION UNDER GOD, INDIVISIBLE, WITH LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL!

Standing for our Nation – Part 10

Now behold, two of them were traveling that same day to a village called Emmaus, which was seven miles from Jerusalem. And they talked together of all these things which had happened.  So it was, while they conversed and reasoned, that Jesus Himself drew near and went with them. But their eyes were restrained, so that they did not know Him. And He said to them, “What kind of conversation is this that you have with one another as you walk and are sad?” Then the one whose name was Cleopas answered and said to Him, “Are You the only stranger in Jerusalem, and have You not known the things which happened there in these days?” And He said to them, “What things?” So they said to Him, “Things concerning Jesus of Nazareth, who was a Prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people, and how the chief priests and our rulers delivered Him to be condemned to death, and crucified Him.  But we were hoping that it was He who was going to redeem Israel. Indeed, besides all this, today is the third day since these things happened.  Yes, and certain women of our company, who arrived at the tomb early, astonished us. When they did not find His body, they came saying that they had also seen a vision of angels who said He was alive. And certain of those who were with us went to the tomb and found it just as the women had said; but Him they did not see.” Then He said to them, “O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken!  Ought not the Christ to have suffered these things and to enter into His glory?”  Beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, He expounded to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself. Then they drew near to the village where they were going, and He indicated that He would have gone farther. But they constrained Him, saying, “Abide with us, for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent.”

And He went in to stay with them. Now it came to pass, as He sat at the table with them, that He took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them. Then their eyes were opened and they knew Him; and He vanished from their sight. And they said to one another, “Did not our heart burn within us while He talked with us on the road, and while He opened the Scriptures to us?”

Luke 24:13-32

As we read this verse, we understand that the real question Jesus’ disciples were asking themselves was:

“Why didn’t we recognize Him?”

Their hearts were burning while they walked with Him and listened to Him, yet they didn’t recognize Who it was that was speaking to them!  Why? They had been reasoning and conversing with one another, instead of having their hope grounded in believing what He had told them would happen. Their sadness was evident to the Master, and He urged them to share their hearts with Him. What they said revealed that they had “hoped” in the natural that Jesus, the “Prophet”, would be the one to redeem Israel…but did not believe He was the Savior that had been long promised by the prophets!  With His crucifixion and death, their “hopes” had been utterly dashed!

Jesus encountered them on the road to Emmaus and chided and challenged them, telling them to BELIEVE what had been forecast by the prophets…then He spelled it out, citing each scripture, so they would understand how Jesus had fulfilled every one! He went even further, staying with them for supper, where He revealed Himself to them as He took bread which He blessed, broken and gave it to them!  It was their “Ah ha! Moment!” …when Truth / Jesus was revealed!

“This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast,

and which enters the Presence behind the veil, where the forerunner has entered for us,

even Jesus, having become High Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.”

Hebrews 6:19-20

We pray:

  • That as we travel through this week, we will spend more time talking with God than with one another, and instead of being sad, we will be waiting in joyful expectation for Him to reveal Himself in the midst of all that is taking place!  Pray.
  • That as we come to the call each day, we will approach our intercession with hearts that believe what God has spoken in His Word to us, not allowing anxiety or fear to cause us to back down or retreat!  Pray.
  • That as we encourage and exhort one another with what God has spoken to our hearts, we will be flooded with true hope, based on understanding Who He is and what He has promised…and will look forward with anticipation to the United States being used by Him in the great end-times harvest!  Pray.

There is a saying that “you don’t know what you had till it’s gone!” That can apply to all sorts of relationships…to marriages, parent-child, friends, business, ministerial…and to our relationship with God. Each relationship has the potential to bring “added value” to our lives, and offers us a chance to give the same to others! A great exchange! Properly appreciated and cared for, it will cause us to reap blessings, but if not nurtured, when it is suddenly gone, it can leave us filled with regret!

As relational beings, we find that when we are around certain people, they cause us to feel alive, valued as if we really “matter”!  Jesus is the “ultimate value” that is “added” to our lives when we encounter and receive Him as Savior and Lord!  His charisms are authentic…drawing those who are sincere to Him. As we follow Him, we become radiant with His love, and those we encounter will actually encounter Him in us!

We pray:

  • That as we live and move and have our being in Christ Jesus, we, like the Apostle Paul, will beckon others to “follow me as I follow Him!” Pray.
  • That when we have good and Godly leaders, who are trying with all their hearts to “walk in the footsteps of Jesus”, that we will uphold and pray for them, asking God to preserve, protect and defend them as they serve Him and lead us! Pray.

In Donald Trump, we found a leader that was dearly loved by God and despite any flaws or imperfections he exhibited in his natural man, when we asked God to open our hearts to him so that we could love him with the Love God had for him, the Lord overwhelmed us with that love, and from that moment on, we have been praying and interceding for him as if he was a member of our own family.  In fact, he is…our dear brother in the family of God! Pray.

Our intercession for him is strictly a “God thing.” At first, we received an assignment to protect and secure the victory from the day of electionand set out to fulfill what had been asked of us. We moved quickly from simply being willing totrust and obey” into much deeper waters!  We were committed to God and country and to the assignment to intercede hourly for the safety and security of our President, Donald John Trump, and to pray for that which pertains to our nation!  Those who have been a part of this prayer initiative for the last four-plus years have grown immeasurably in our prayer life, our love of country and our ability to “see beyond” the natural…into the spirit…where the greatest exchanges take place! Only God! Pray.

Let us pray now for our dear brother, our President and child of God, Donald Trump. As we pass through these next three days, let us be filled with the knowledge that Jesus Christ is Sovereign Lord, and that He is bringing about all that is necessary to fulfill His plans and purposes! AMEN!

For the rest of the hour, let us pray corporately and individually for our President,

and for his decision to do what he must to protect and defend this nation…ONE NATION UNDER GOD!
