Revised Prayer Focus Friday, January 10, 2025 – The 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call

We begin our hour by praising and giving thanks to God!
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”

A mighty Fortress is our God, a Bulwark never failing.
Our Helper He amid the flood of mortal ills prevailing.

For us to receive and put on the Ephesians 6 “full armor of God” as we begin each hour,
that we might be protected as we continue to “stand in the gap” for our beloved country!
Pray.
The key assignment for the 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call is to intercede hourly
for the safety and security of our duly elected (and now re-elected) President, Donald John Trump,
and to pray for that which pertains to our nation!
We pray for his protection, as he prepares to be inaugurated as our 47th President.
May he be led by the Holy Spirit
so that he will discern truth and act for the good of the nation.
We bless our First Lady, Melania, their marriage and family, and cover them all with the Blood of Jesus.
Pray.
For those leaders that God has anointed, appointed, and elected,
as they take their places in the governments of each state and in our nation’s Capitol!
May they work together to clean up corruption in our government, and restore our electoral system.
Pray.
The Lord has asked us to dedicate the final 30 days to prayer for Washington, DC as it is prepared for the Inauguration! Every hour, we will be praying for the cleansing, purging and preparation of DC.
May January 20th be a day the Manifest Glory of God is revealed in the Capitol of the US!
Pray.
During these final 10 days before the Inauguration, we are standing
in FAITH AND HOPE AND OBEDIENCE TO OUR CALLING…
praying that he will be alive to be inaugurated as our 47th President on January 20th, 2025
and then serve his full term to the GLORY OF GOD!
Let us pray into each of the following prayer points for 2 minutes on President Trump’s behalf.
Divine Fire Shield: O God, surround Donald Trump and his family, his cabinet, and all his appointees (as well as our respective families, the Church of Christ, and the USA) with a wall of fire, burning up every evil force aiming to harm him (and us all).

Warrior Angels: Lord, release Your warrior angels to encamp around Donald Trump and his family, his cabinet, and all his appointees (as well as our respective families, the Church of Christ and the USA) and fight his battles day and night.

After today’s focus had been sent out last night, we received word that the United States Supreme Court (SCOTUS) had denied (by a vote of 5-4) the Trump application to stop the sentencing which is to take place today. Next step? A probable appeal to the Supreme Court to reverse the lower court’s decision.
Although we disagree with the majority’s conclusion, we trust that (as His Word tells us) God will use what takes place in the sentencing hearing today, along with everything that happens because of it, in our President’s life, to work together for his good! Pray.
Background: President Trump had petitioned SCOTUS to postpone sentencing which was scheduled for today, citing presidential immunity concerns and potential harm to the institution of the presidency. This move came after the New York State’s Appeals Court rejected his requests for a delay. Trump’s legal team filed the emergency request, signed by John Sauer, the nominee for solicitor general, this Wednesday, January 8th. In the filing, he argued that proceeding with the sentencing could cause “grave injustice and harm to the institution of the Presidency and the operations of the federal government.” Pray.
President Trump’s May 2024 “faux conviction” on 34 felony counts of “falsifying business records” took place after a “sham” trial, presided over by NY Supreme Court Justice Juan M. Merchan, who has indicated that he does not intend to impose jail time, fines, or probation at the sentencing. Trump’s attorneys based their argument on a recent Supreme Court ruling that granted former presidents broad immunity from criminal prosecution for certain core official acts performed while president. They contended that this ruling should apply to some of the evidence used against Trump in the business records trial, asserting that it should have been protected by presidential immunity. However, Merchan disagreed with this interpretation. The President’s spokesman, Steven Cheung, called for the case to be dismissed in a statement, while the Manhattan district attorney’s office said it would respond through court filings. Pray.
President Trump’s appeal to the Supreme Court follows unsuccessful attempts by his legal team to halt the proceedings. On January 7th, an appeals court in New York denied a request for an interim stay. Justice Ellen Gesmer of the Appellate Division, First Judicial Department, issued a brief order stating, “After consideration of the papers submitted and the extensive oral argument, the movant’s application for interim stay is denied.” Trump attorney Todd Blanche argued in the emergency filing that proceeding with the sentencing would “pose risks to America’s vital interests that are intolerable and unconstitutional under the Supremacy Clause and the doctrine of Presidential immunity.” Blanche emphasized the potential impact on Trump’s ability to assume office as the 47th president, citing concerns about possible restrictions on travel, reporting requirements, and other probationary conditions. Pray.
The legal team’s strategy includes invoking a ruling by US District Judge Tanya Chutkan in Trump’s separate election interference case wherein Chutkan agreed that Trump’s appeal based on presidential immunity automatically stayed proceedings moving toward trial. In another rejection of the move to delay the sentencing, on January 6th, Merchan stated that the President’s arguments were “for the most part, a repetition of the arguments he has raised numerous times in the past.” The Judge also dismissed Trump’s various immunity-related objections to the evidence used during the trial, finding that the evidence related to unofficial conduct and thus did not receive immunity protections. That request was made just days after Merchan’s January 3rd decision to reject Trump’s request to dismiss the case, in which Merchan said that he wasn’t inclined to impose a prison term on the president-elect.
This appeals process is playing out only 10 days before Trump’s scheduled inauguration on January 20th and follows the dismissal of two federal cases against him. We wait in joyful expectation for what God will do in this matter! Pray.

those who are.” Let such an outrage sweep across the nation in defense of our President, until he is vindicated fully and cleared of all charges against him! Pray.
May those persecuting President Trump be visited by the Lord, and have a fear of God put in them, so they will cease and desist in their evil attacks against him! Pray.
That the people of our nation will stand alongside President Trump, and remain engaged in this BATTLE TO SAVE AMERICA until VICTORY is won! Pray.
Protect and strengthen our 24/7 family and bring in new intercessors – and in particular, Godly men – who are called to this assignment with us, to pray for our President and our beloved nation! Prepare us for our NEXT STEPS in this Battle to Save America! Pray.
