Sunday, February 7, 2021 – The 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call

We begin our hour by praising and giving thanks to God!

“Stand  fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.”

My country, ’tis of thee, sweet land of liberty, of thee I sing;

land where my fathers died, land of the pilgrims’ pride, from every mountainside, let freedom ring!

My native country, thee, land of the noble free, thy name I love; 

I love thy rocks and rills, thy woods and templed hills. My heart with rapture thrills like that above.

Let music swell the breeze and ring from all the trees sweet freedom’s song;

The key assignment for the 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call has not changed! 

We are called to intercede hourly for the safety and security of President Donald John Trump, and to pray for that which pertains to our nation!

We pray for his protection and cover him with the Blood of Jesus,  

asking that he respond to every situation by the leading of the Holy Spirit!

We thank God for exposing and foiling every plan of the enemy that is set against him,

and for the angels to be stationed to surround and stand guard over him continually!

Pray.

We bless the First Lady, Melania, their marriage and all the members of their family.

We forbid and bind any backlash planned against them 

and any of those who faithfully served in or supported his Administration. 

Pray.

The 24/7 NSPC continues to stand for righteousness and justice in our nation 

and affirm Donald Trump as our duly elected President! 

Pray.

We pray for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris and all those complicit in their ascension to power. 

They have come into office through fraud and deception, 

and we ask that their crimes against this nation be exposed and that they be removed from office!

Pray.

We pray for ourselves and our loved ones, as we put on the full armor of God!

We pray for the total healing of our sister, Repeka Nuusa (TX), and for the health of all our 24/7 family. 

We ask that the coronavirus be sovereignly destroyed by Almighty God!

Pray.

We pray for the fake news, the corrupted social media and big tech “giants” to be taken down and for Godly platforms to emerge to serve the needs of our people!

Strategic Focus for Sunday

Praying for the Resurrection of the Nation – Part 18

“Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell forevermore. For the Lord loves justice, and does not forsake His saints; they are preserved forever, but the descendants of the wicked shall be cut off. The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell in it forever.” 

Psalm 37:27-29

“Do good. Avoid evil!” Four simple words, yet the majority of the world has failed to either hear or obey them, resulting in the chaos and confusion we see everywhere today! Those who have heard and obeyed are secure in the protection of God as we move forward…KADIMA!…in the battle for the heart and soul of this nation. We are assured that we will possess this land and our children after us! That surely is GOOD NEWS today! Pray.

“This is the will of God, that by doing good you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men” 

1 Peter 2:15 

As we approach the coming week, in which our President (and the American people) will be forced to endure yet another unjust impeachment trial, our hearts and prayers are with him. We are surrounding him in the spirit, standing firmly against the outright lies and wickedness that have enabled these proceedings to take place. Interceding for him, we will refute every vile statement made by the evil men and women who are attempting to publicly “lynch” him…for a crime they know he didn’t commit!  Pray.

Today, we are calling in reinforcements…the saints in heaven and the angelic host…asking that their presence accompany us in this battle. We are ONE BODY IN CHRIST…past…present…and to come…and we do not stand alone! Building upon the prayers that past generations of precious, liberty-loving saints offered for our beloved nation, we add our own to the bowls in heaven, and cry out to the Lord to pour out His justice for our President, Donald Trump! Pray.

The concept of generations praying together was reinforced this past week, in a Give Him 15 post. It  said:  “Since we don’t typically align with past movements or agree with past prayers, this has all too often led to the segmentation of the ages, forcing each generation’s intercession and effort to stand on its own.”  Yet God promises that we will see the “hearts of the fathers turned to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers.” Malachi 4:6… and the generations would come together before Him as one! Pray.

When the devil succeeds in causing people to forget their history, they lose their sense of generational connection.  From one generation to another, we tell the stories of God’s faithfulness in the situations we faced as a nation. From our conception forward, throughout the years and generations, we have remembered, retold and rejoiced over those who received the grace and empowerment which enabled them to give their all to keep America free! We take courage in this current battle, knowing that what God did once, He can do again! Pray.

Life is cyclical, and as we connect with the past, we get a glimpse of our future. In His mercy and grace, God continues what He began in one generation…through the next! Our connection with the lives of those who have gone before us reveals something called the “synergy” of the ages. (Synergy: the interaction of two or more things that produces a combined effect greater than the sum of their separate effects.) As Americans, we are part of that “synergy”. We stand on the shoulders of and are forever connected to the prayers and dreams of the pilgrims who came over on the Mayflower, the colonists who fought in the War of Independence (the American Revolution), the pioneers who pushed westward, braving the obstacles presented by plains and mountains to reach the west coast of this continent. Each and every generation has been part of “the American story”…and now, it is our turn. We must do our part to keep this “Great Experiment”…the American Dream”…alive!  Pray.

“You who love the Lord, hate evil! He preserves the souls of His saints;  He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.”

Psalm 97:10

As we prepare our hearts and minds for this coming week’s events, we pray for those who will be representing our President in the impeachment trial before the US Senate, and for their success as they present his defense. President Trump’s lawyers, led by David Schoen and Bruce Castor, filed a 14-page counter brief on the exact same day that the Democrats’ impeachment managers submitted an 80-page filing…typical “overkill”. Pray.

These are the 4 key arguments put forth by the Trump legal team. Let us read and pray into them on their behalf!

1. President Trump Did Not Incite. Schoen and Castor assert that President Trump’s January 6 speech at a rally near the White House did not incite the deadly riot in which protesters broke into the Capitol. Democrats’ impeachment managers specify that Trump’s telling the crowd to “fight like hell” prompted them to attack the Capitol. 

The Trump legal team’s brief says: 

• “It is denied that the phrase ‘if you don’t fight like hell you’re not going to have a country anymore’ had anything to do with the action at the Capitol as it was clearly about the need to fight for election security in general, as evidenced by the recording of the speech.  Pray. 
• It is denied that President Trump intended to interfere with the counting of electoral votes.”  Pray.

2. Senate Lacks Jurisdiction. President Trump’s lawyers contend that since he no longer holds public office, the Senate lacks the authority to try him and possibly prohibit him from holding future federal office. To take action on that allegation would “constitute a bill of attainder” (a legislative act that singles out an individual or group for punishment without a trial) which would be in violation of Article I, Section 9, Clause 3 of the Constitution. 

The Trump legal team’s brief says: 

• “It is denied that the quoted provision currently applies to the 45th President of the United States since he is no longer ‘President. The constitutional provision requires that a person actually hold office to be impeached. Since the 45th President is no longer ‘President,’ the clause [in the Constitution] ‘shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for…’ is impossible for the Senate to accomplish. Since removal from office by the Senate of the President is a condition precedent which must occur before, and jointly with, ‘disqualification’ to hold future office, the fact that the Senate presently is unable to remove from office the 45th President whose term has expired, means that [House Democrats’ allegation] is therefore irrelevant to any matter before the Senate.  Pray.
• It is denied that the 45th President engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the United States. The 45th President believes and therefore avers that as a private citizen, the Senate has no jurisdiction over his ability to hold office … Pray.

3. Not Unusual to Challenge Electoral Votes.  President Trump’s lawyers deny that, while President, he intended to interfere with the counting of Electoral College votes January 6th in a joint session of Congress. Challenging the counting of Electoral College votes for President has become routine after Republican victories under the Electoral Act of 1887, which allows such challenges.   

The Trump legal team’s brief says: 

• “As is customary, members of Congress challenged electoral vote submissions by state under a process written into congressional rules allowing for the respective Houses of Congress to debate whether a state’s submitted electoral votes should be counted. In [January] 2017, Democratic members of Congress repeatedly challenged the electoral votes submitted from states where President Trump prevailed.” Pray.
• “The purpose of the joint sessions of Congress in both 2017 and 2021 was for members of Congress “to fulfill their duty to be certain the Electoral College votes were properly submitted, and any challenges thereto properly addressed under congressional rules. Congress’ duty, therefore, was not just to certify the presidential election. Its duty was to first determine whether certification of the Presidential election vote was warranted and permissible under its rules.” Pray.

4. Absence of Chief Justice Signals Biased Trial  The Constitution requires the Chief Justice to preside over a Presidential impeachment trial; Chief Justice John Roberts declined to preside over the Senate impeachment trial since Trump no longer is President. In Roberts’ absence, Senate President Pro Tempore Patrick Leahy (D-VT), a vocal critic of Trump over the past 4 years, is set to preside. Leahy voted to convict and remove Trump from office in the first impeachment trial early last year. 

In their brief, Trump’s lawyers argue:

• Once the 45th President’s term expired, and the House chose to allow jurisdiction to lapse on the article of impeachment, the Constitutional mandate for the Chief Justice to preside at all impeachments involving the President evidently disappeared, and he was replaced by a partisan senator who will purportedly also act as a juror while ruling on certain issues. Pray.
• The House actions thus were designed to ensure that Chief Justice John Roberts would not preside over the proceedings, which effectively creates the additional appearance of bias with the proceedings now being supervised by a partisan member of the Senate with a long history of public remarks adverse to the 45th President. Pray.

Lord, we commend our President and this nation into Your hands! Our trust is in You, and You alone! Give President Trump JUSTICE and expose the injustice that has been done in this matter. Show the full depth of the corruption that is seeking to destroy this nation, and bring all those involved down, including the usurper in the White House and all those aligned in the darkness with him.  Thank You for hearing and answering our prayer!
