Feb 20, 2023 – Prayer Focus

Monday, February 20, 2023 – The 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call Presidents’ Day

“A CALL TO THE WALL…ONE NATION UNDER GOD”

1-712-770-4340 Code: 543555 # (Ongoing call…24 hours a day!)

We begin our hour by praising and giving thanks to God!

You are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.”

1 Peter 2:9

We sing: “God, Bless America!”

While the storm clouds gather far across the sea, let us swear allegiance to a land that’s free.

Let us all be grateful for a land so fair, as we raise our voices in a solemn prayer:

God bless America, land that I love.

Stand beside her and guide her, through the night with the light from above,

From the mountains to the prairies, to the oceans white with foam,

God bless America, my home sweet home!

From the mountains to the prairies, to the oceans white with foam,

God bless America, my home sweet home!

God bless America, my home sweet home!

The key assignment for the 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call is to intercede hourly

for the safety and security of our duly elected President, Donald John Trump,

and to pray for that which pertains to our nation!

We pray for his protection, for our First Lady, Melania, and their marriage

and for all the members of their family. We cover them all with the Blood of Jesus.

Pray.

For the restoration of Donald Trump to his rightful office.

In every situation and decision, let our President be led by the Holy Spirit,

so that he learns the truth and acts accordingly, for the good of the nation.

Pray.

For protection, provision, and peace

for all working to expose the fraud and corruption of our elections!

As the SAVE AMERICA movement gains momentum, let those leaders that God anoints and appoints

take their places in the governments of each state and in our nation’s Capitol!

Pray.

For us to receive and put on the full armor of God as we begin this hour,

that we might be protected as we stand in the gap and pray for our nation!

Pray.

Strategic Focus for Monday

WELCOME THE KING OF GLORY INTO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

ONE NATION UNDER GOD, INDIVISIBLE, WITH LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL!

THE BATTLE TO SAVE AMERICA! – Part 272

The Returning of President Trump to the White House! – Part 162

“He who follows after righteousness and mercy finds life, righteousness, and honor.”

Proverbs 21:21

Today, across the United States, a special observation is being held in schools, communities and in the hearts of patriots who hold dear the memorable words and valiant actions of Presidents George Washington and Abraham Lincoln. Their individual birthdays, on February 22nd and February 12th, respectively, are celebrated together on this third Monday of February, on which it is officially observed as a federal holiday in the United States! Originally established in 1885, in recognition of President George Washington, the holiday became popularly known as Presidents’ Day after it was moved as part of 1971’s Uniform Monday Holiday Act, in an attempt to create more three-day weekends for the nation’s workers. While several states still have individual holidays honoring the birthdays of Washington and Abraham Lincoln, Presidents’ Day is now popular as a day to celebrate theirs… and other favorite Presidents! (And we know who ours is, don’t we!) Pray.

We pray:

  • In gratitude for both Presidents Washington and Lincoln, as we bless their memories. Pray
  • For our own beloved President, Donald Trump, who is the duly elected President of the United States. May he soon be returning to take his rightful place as such, to guide the SHIP OF STATE through the troubled waters created by the imposter who now occupies the White House. Pray
  • As we celebrate today, our hearts are turned toward the young people who are the future leaders of this land. May they see and hear the truth, supporting President Trump as he moves forward for our nation! Pray

Mount Rushmore National Memorial, near Keystone, South Dakota. From left to right, the U.S. Presidents are: George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln.

George Washington was born on February 22, 1732, on his father’s tobacco plantation in Colonial Virginia. He worked as a surveyor on the Virginia frontier and then became a major in the Virginia militia. After serving heroically during the French and Indian War, he returned to his family’s Virginia home, Mount Vernon, and became a successful planter. In 1775, when the American War for Independence broke out between the colonies and Great Britain, Washington was unanimously selected by the Continental Congress as commander in chief of the Continental Army. His small band of soldiers faced a well-equipped, professional army, but he led his often ragged forces to victory in the face of incredible hardships. The British surrendered at Yorktown, Virginia, in 1781. In 1976, the US Congress posthumously promoted Washington to the rank of six-star general, assuring that he would forever outrank all other members of the military. Pray.

Washington enjoyed nearly universal respect, not least for spurning all offers of political power at the moment of his military triumph. He instead chose to return to private life at Mount Vernon. In 1787, he presided over the writing of the U.S. Constitution, and once it was ratified, he became the unanimous choice to be the first president of the United States. He served two four-year terms, from 1789 to 1797. At the end of his second term, Washington was the most popular figure in America and could have continued as president, but he relinquished power, thereby setting a precedent for his successors. Pray.

Abraham Lincoln was born on February 12, 1809, and became America’s 16th president in 1860. As president he guided his country through a great constitutional, military and moral crisis — the American Civil War (1861–1865) — after 11 of 15 Southern slaveholding states seceded from the United States to form the Confederate States of America. His Emancipation Proclamation, issued on January 1, 1863, outlawed slavery in the Confederate states still in rebellion. The proclamation changed the war from a conflict over states’ rights to a war whose aims included the destruction of slavery. Pray.

Lincoln believed that a constitutional amendment was necessary to ensure the end of slavery, and he supported the passage of the 13th Amendment to the Constitution, which was adopted in December 1865. Lincoln was shot to death by a Confederate sympathizer on April 9, 1865, five days after the Confederacy surrendered. Pray.

Honoring Both Presidents Historically, Americans began celebrating George Washington’s birthday just months after his death, long before Congress declared it a federal holiday. It was not until 1879, under President Rutherford B. Hayes, that Washington’s Birthday became a legal holiday, to be observed on his birthday, February 22. Washington’s birthday was celebrated on February 22nd until well into the 20th century. In 1968, Congress passed the Monday Holiday Law to “provide uniform annual observances of certain legal public holidays on Mondays.” By creating more 3-day weekends, Congress hoped to “bring substantial benefits to both the spiritual and economic life of the Nation”

We pray:

  • Father, we repent for commercializing what could be a wonderful teaching experience for our youth! Help us to keep the true spirit of the American Revolution alive in our hearts and pass it on to the generations that follow us. Pray.

At least a dozen states officially celebrate the third Monday in February as “Washington and Lincoln’s Birthday,” and another dozen states call it “Presidents’ Day.” As much as both Washington and Lincoln are revered, the federal holiday officially remains Washington’s Birthday. He is honored with many statues around the country, and likenesses of both Washington and Lincoln are carved in stone on Mount Rushmore in South Dakota, along with Presidents Thomas Jefferson and Theodore Roosevelt.

We pray:

“The words of a man’s mouth are deep waters; The wellspring of wisdom is a flowing brook.”

Proverbs 18:4

  • That as Americans read the writings of Washington and Lincoln, they will honor and treasure these Godly men, given to lead our nation as we emerged, and in a most perilous time, the Civil War. Pray.

The holiday is also a tribute to the general who created the first military badge of merit for the common soldier. Revived on Washington’s 200th birthday in 1932, the Purple Heart medal (which bears Washington’s image) is awarded to soldiers who are injured in battle. (The medal’s predecessor was the Badge of Military Merit, created by George Washington on August 7, 1782 during his command of the Continental Army.) As with Memorial Day and Veterans Day, Washington’s Birthday offers another opportunity for the citizens of the United States to honor our veterans. We do so today, as we remember and celebrate together! Pray.

We pray:

  • That all Americans will be taught our TRUE HISTORY, and that our hearts will be inspired by the patriots of every generation to uphold our responsibility at this hour, to protect and defend our nation, and leave it better than we found it for our children and their children! Pray.
  • That each and every evil plot to overthrow this nation will be exposed, and we will totally dispel this present darkness as we emerge, shining with the LIGHT we have been imbued with by THE SON! Pray.
  • That the people of our nation will stand alongside President Trump, and remain engaged in this BATTLE TO SAVE AMERICA until VICTORY is won! Pray.
  • That the members of Congress will finally investigate and reject the “usurper” Biden and all the corrupt things pertaining to his faux administration, and restoring righteousness and justice for all!! Pray.
  • Protect and strengthen our 24/7 family and bring in new intercessors who are called to this assignment with us, to pray for our President and our beloved nation! Prepare us for our NEXT STEPS in this Battle to Save America! Pray.
