The key assignment for the 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call is to intercede hourly for the safety and security of our President, Donald John Trump, and to pray for that which pertains to our nation!

We pray for our President’s protection and cover him with the Blood of Jesus, as he passes through difficult moments of his Presidency. Let him respond to every situation by the leading of the Holy Spirit!

We refer those to You who are plotting and planning the demise of our beloved President!

We say “No!” to them and ask that You expose and foil all their plans! Thank You, Lord!

We bless our First Lady, Melania, their marriage, their son Barron and all their family members.

We bless our Vice President Mike Pence, his wife Karen and their family, and all those serving in this Administration.

We pray for the Federal Reserve Board members, to use their power to boost our nation’s economy.

Let them no longer resist our President’s requests to act in accord with what is good for the USA!

The 24/7 NSPC is praying for the 2020 National Elections,

positioning ourselves in intercession before the Lord on behalf of our President and nation!

COUNTDOWN: 261 days until the election!

Let us pray into this verse:

Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall honor Me.”

Psalm 50:15

Strategic Focus for Monday

WELCOME THE KING OF GLORY INTO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

The Art of Honoring

“Those who honor Me I will honor, and those who despise Me shall be lightly esteemed.”

1 Samuel 2:30

“Honoring” is an art…and a wonderful character trait! It speaks well of the person rendering the honor…and also of the worthiness of the one being honored! When we honor someone, we show our high esteem, deep respect, even reverence for them.  Honor, first and foremost, belongs to God! We are to honor Him above all else!

“This is what the Lord spoke, saying: ‘By those who come near Me I must be regarded as holy;

and before all the people I must be honored.”.’

Leviticus 10:3

“You who fear the Lord, praise Him! All you descendants of Jacob, honor Him”

Psalm 22:23

“You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power;

for You created all things, and by Your will they exist and were created.”

Revelation 4;11

We pray:

  • Lord, we are so blessed that You have called us to Yourself, and we delight in giving You all the honor and praise and worship that You so richly deserve. Help us to understand how to more perfectly honor You so that we might delight You in it!

There is a precious preferring of one another that is exhibited between Father and Son: as honoring taking place:

“For He received from God the Father honor and glory when such a voice came to Him from the Excellent Glory: ‘This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.’”

2 Peter 1:17

“If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor.”

John 12:26

“All should honor the Son just as they honor the Father.

He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.”

John 5:23

We pray:

  • What an example has been set for us! Teach us to honor and value one another as we see in the Godhead.

In true honoring, the capability to express that honor is an attribute given by God. (When not rooted in Him, it is simply flattery…and dishonest!)

In God is my salvation and my honor; The rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.”

God also tells us to honor one another. We are all made in the image of God and Psalm 62:7

“A man to whom God has given riches and wealth and honor, so that he lacks nothing for himself of all he desires”

Ecclesiastes 6:2

“Blessed  be the Lord God of our fathers, Who has put such a thing as this in the king’s heart, to beautify the house of the Lord which is in Jerusalem,

Ezra 7:27

We pray:

  • Lord, we ask that You allow us to only speak what is edifying and true, as we seek to honor those who are deserving of praise! Root out all flattering and self-serving words so they will NEVER be part of our expression.

In the process of honoring, we recognize praiseworthy qualities and speak of that which is commendable. Distinctive character attributes, such as honesty, integrity, and faithful adherence to their beliefs in the face of opposition are specific traits which are all “worthy of honor”.

The first commandment with a blessing is about honoring, and it is found in Deuteronomy… and is echoed in Ephesians.

‘Honor your father and your mother, as the Lord your God has commanded you, that your days may be long,

and that it may be well with you in the land which the Lord your God is giving you.

Deuteronomy 5:16

“Honor your father and mother,” which is the first commandment with promise:

Ephesians 6:2

We pray:

  • Lord, let us ever be grateful that You gave us life and placed us here on this earth, at this moment in time.
  • Thank You for those who “co-created” with You, in whatever way that occurred. We are here today, to honor You…and are enabled to know and love You as we serve Your purposes in this life and the next!.

The command / exhortation to honor extends from the first and smaller arena of the family to the wider sphere… of honoring each person we encounter! Words matter and the way we speak about someone can influence others about them!

Honor all people. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king.”

1 Peter 2:17

“Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another”

Romans 12:10

We pray:

  • That our words, actions and attitude will be those that convey honor and respect for all we encounter.
  • That as we speak of others, that we will be mindful of the power of words, and as we “speak the truth IN LOVE”, it will always be for the good of others!

Today is President’s Day.. officially known as “Washington’s Birthday.”  It is a national holiday on which we honor and celebrate the life and achievements of “The Father of our Country”, George Washington, the first President of the United States (1789-1797). On this day, along with Washington, we also honor and remember all past US presidents. President’s Day, created in 1879, was celebrated for the first time in 1880, and it was originally held on February 22nd, Washington’s actual birth date. In 1971, it was changed to the third Monday of February and was the first federal holiday to be created in honor of an American citizen.

Today, there will be no mail delivery since federal workers have the day off, and in many communities, there will be celebrations with parades and lots of sales by businesses that hope to capitalize on “President’s Day” shoppers!  For those in the military, this is the day on which the Purple Heart (a military badge which carries an image of George Washington) is awarded to our soldiers who have been injured in the course of duty! As a nation, we show them the honor that is due them for their service and sacrifice to this country!

We pray::

  • As we remember the past and honor those who laid the foundations and contributed to the growth of this nation, we pause to thank God for the man who now holds the office of President!  We lift him and the future of this nation to You, Lord. Pray for President Trump.

As we conclude this hour, we remember and grab ahold of these words, on behalf of our nation today…then close with this stirring anthem invoking God’s blessing on our nation!

“O Lord my God, listen to the cry and the prayer which Your servant is praying before You today:

that Your eyes may be open toward this temple night and day, toward the place of which You said,

‘My name shall be there,’ that You may hear the prayer which Your servant makes toward this place.”

1 Kings 8:28-29

AMERICA the BEAUTIFUL

Oh, beautiful, for spacious skies for amber waves of grain,

for purple mountain majesty above the fruited plain.

America, America

God shed his grace on thee and crown thy good with brotherhood from sea to shining sea.

Oh, beautiful for vision clear, that sees beyond the years,

thy night time sky our hopes that fly, undimmed by human tears.

America, America

God shed His grace on thee, ’til selfish gain no longer stain the banner of the free.
