Dec 7, 2019 – Prayer Focus
Saturday, December 7, 2019 – The 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call
“A CALL TO THE WALL…ONE NATION UNDER GOD”
1-712-770-4340 Code: 543555 #
We begin our hour by praising and giving thanks to God!
“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, The people He has chosen as His own inheritance.’
Psalm 33:12
We sing:
If tomorrow all the things were gone I worked for all my life
And I had to start again with just my children and my wife
I thank my lucky stars to be living here today
‘Cause the flag still stands for freedom and they can’t take that away…
And I’m proud to be an American where at least I know I’m free
And I won’t forget the men who died who gave that right to me
And I’d gladly stand up next to you and defend Her still today
‘Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land
God Bless the U.S.A.
From the lakes of Minnesota to the hills of Tennessee
Across the plains of Texas from sea to shining sea
From Detroit down to Houston and New York to L.A.
Where’s pride in every American heart and it’s time we stand and say…
And I’m proud to be an American where at least I know I’m free
And I won’t forget the men who died who gave that right to me
And I’d gladly stand up next to you and defend Her still today
‘Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land
God Bless the U.S.A.

Strategic Focus for Saturday
WELCOME THE KING OF GLORY INTO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
REMEMBERING PEARL HARBOR
Proclaim this among the nations: “Prepare for war!
Wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near, let them come up.
Joel 3:9
In a surprise attack that began at 7:48 AM on a sunny Sunday morning in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, the Kingdom of Japan killed 2,403 Americans; wounded 1,178 others; sank four U.S. Navy battleships; destroyed 188 U.S. aircraft; and sank or damaged three cruisers, three destroyers, one minelayer, and an anti-aircraft training ship.
America would never be the same.
The “Infamy Speech” (also known as the “Pearl Harbor Speech”) was delivered by US President Franklin D. Roosevelt to a Joint Session of Congress on December 8, 1941, one day after Japan’s attack on the US Naval Base at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, and the Japanese declaration of war on the United States and the British Empire. Within an hour of the speech, Congress passed a formal declaration of war against Japan and officially brought the US into World War II. An hour after he finished, Congress declared war on Japan. Germany and Italy declared war on the United States on December 11, 1941, putting the United States in the position of fighting a war on two fronts.
We pray:
That our world will NEVER see another World War, and that President Trump… and those who succeed him… will serve God’s purposes in heading off and preventing any such occurrence.
May the KING OF GLORY be welcomed in, to rule and reign in our nation, and the nations of the world! Let HIS PEACE prevail …and cause those who would make war be exposed and stopped before they can achieve their nefarious ends!

The name “Infamy Speech” derives from the first line, which describes the previous day as “a date which will live in infamy”. The address is one of the most famous of all American political speeches. It was not just a personal response by the American President, but a statement on behalf of the entire American people, in the face of a collective national trauma. The speech both crystallized the response of the nation into a collective response and resolve, and expressed our corporate outrage at its “dastardly” nature.
Let us read through it, then we will pray for our nation today, as the Spirit leads us.
Mr. Vice President, and Mr. Speaker, and Members of the Senate and House of Representatives:
Yesterday, December 7, 1941 – a date which will live in infamy – the United States of America was suddenly and deliberately attacked by naval and air forces of the Empire of Japan. The United States was at peace with that Nation and, at the solicitation of Japan, was still in conversation with its Government and its Emperor looking toward the maintenance of peace in the Pacific.
Indeed, one hour after Japanese air squadrons had commenced bombing in the American Island of Oahu, the Japanese Ambassador to the United States and his colleague delivered to our Secretary of State a formal reply to a recent American message. And while this reply stated that it seemed useless to continue the existing diplomatic negotiations, it contained no threat or hint of war or of armed attack.
It will be recorded that the distance of Hawaii from Japan makes it obvious that the attack was deliberately planned many days or even weeks ago. During the intervening time the Japanese Government has deliberately sought to deceive the United States by false statements and expressions of hope for continued peace.
The attack yesterday on the Hawaiian Islands has caused severe damage to American naval and military forces. I regret to tell you that very many American lives have been lost. In addition American ships have been reported torpedoed on the high seas between San Francisco and Honolulu.
Yesterday the Japanese Government also launched an attack against Malaya.
Last night Japanese forces attacked Hong Kong.
Last night Japanese forces attacked Guam.
Last night Japanese forces attacked the Philippine Islands.
Last night the Japanese attacked Wake Island.
And this morning the Japanese attacked Midway Island.
Japan has, therefore, undertaken a surprise offensive extending throughout the Pacific area.
The facts of yesterday and today speak for themselves. The people of the United States have already formed their opinions and well understand the implications to the very life and safety of our Nation.
As Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy, I have directed that all measures be taken for our defense. But always will our whole Nation remember the character of the onslaught against us. No matter how long it may take us to overcome this premeditated invasion, the American people in their righteous might will win through to absolute victory. I believe that I interpret the will of the Congress and of the people when I assert that we will not only defend ourselves to the uttermost but will make it very certain that this form of treachery shall never again endanger us.
Hostilities exist. There is no blinking at the fact that our people, our territory, and our interests are in grave danger. With confidence in our armed forces – with the unbounding determination of our people – we will gain the inevitable triumph – so help us God.
I ask that the Congress declare that since the unprovoked and dastardly attack by Japan on Sunday, December 7, 1941, a state of war has existed between the United States and the Japanese Empire.
We pray:
For the protection and preservation of the United States of America as we move forward in a hostile and rage-filled world.
For “the manifest presence of the sons and daughters of God” who will reach out to those who are afar off,
inviting them to receive the love of God and the salvation our Lord Jesus Christ won for them.
For an outpouring of the Holy Spirit on all flesh, that all may know the ONE TRUE GOD, and receive HIM!
Pray as led by the Spirit for our nation, our president and our people!

National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day
marks the lives lost December 7, 1941 and honors those who survived.
We will close today’s focus with the words from the 3rd stanza of the Navy song: “ANCHORS AWEIGH”
Blue of the mighty deep, Gold of God’s great sun…
Let these our colors be ‘til all of time be done, done, done, done.
On seven seas we learn Navy’s stern call:
Faith, courage, service true, with honor overall.
God bless the United States of America and all those who currently serve, or have served in our military!
We also bless the people of Japan who have become such a great nation and ally of the USA!

Note: We will not tolerate any demonic interference on the 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call. If at any time, it is necessary, the facilitator, in agreement with those on the line, will bind all forces of evil and cast them down into the abyss, then pray a shield of protection over this line and our 24/7 family!
