08-18-23 Notes from the “International SHABBAT Celebration” 

24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call

Maureen opened us in prayer and praised God for His abiding Presence in our lives, noting that even when we don’t see it, He’s working. She asked for a fresh infilling of the Spirit for each of us on the call and all the members of our 24/7 family! For those who do not know about this gift of the Spirit yet, we pray for an openness to that revelation, so they can be fully equipped to go forth in the battle of intercession for the nation! 

Rachel (MS) led us in receiving the armor of God, according to Ephesians 6:10-18. 

“Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, 

and having done all, to stand.

 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 

and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 

above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 

And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 

praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit.”

We prayed corporately, receiving God’s full armor, asking that we afford it the dignity it deserves

and radiate the character and attributes of Christ, as we wear it.

We opened our time together with this Scripture portion from 1 Samuel 7: 1-14

1 “Then the men of Kirjath Jearim came and took the ark of the Lord, and brought it into the house of Abinadab on the hill, and consecrated Eleazar his son to keep the ark of the Lord.

2 So it was that the ark remained in Kirjath Jearim a long time; it was there for twenty years. And all the house of Israel lamented after the Lord.

3 Then Samuel spoke to all the house of Israel, saying, “If you return to the Lord with all your hearts, then put away the foreign gods and the Ashtoreths from among you, and prepare your hearts for the Lord, and serve Him only; and He will deliver you from the hand of the Philistines.” 

4 So the children of Israel put away the Baals and the Ashtoreths and served the Lord only.

5 And Samuel said, “Gather all Israel to Mizpah, and I will pray to the Lord for you.” 

6 So they gathered together at Mizpah, drew water, and poured it out before the Lord. And they fasted that day, and said there, “We have sinned against the Lord.” And Samuel judged the children of Israel at Mizpah.

7 Now when the Philistines heard that the children of Israel had gathered together at Mizpah, the lords of the Philistines went up against Israel. And when the children of Israel heard of it, they were afraid of the Philistines. 8 So the children of Israel said to Samuel, “Do not cease to cry out to the Lord our God for us, that He may save us from the hand of the Philistines.”

9 And Samuel took a suckling lamb and offered it as a whole burnt offering to the Lord. Then Samuel cried out to the Lord for Israel, and the Lord answered him. 

10 Now as Samuel was offering up the burnt offering, the Philistines drew near to battle against Israel. But the Lord thundered with a loud thunder upon the Philistines that day, and so confused them that they were overcome before Israel. 

11 And the men of Israel went out of Mizpah and pursued the Philistines, and drove them back as far as below Beth Car. 

12 Then Samuel took a stone and set it up between Mizpah and Shen, and called its name Ebenezer, saying, “Thus far the Lord has helped us.”

13 So the Philistines were subdued, and they did not come anymore into the territory of Israel. And the hand of the Lord was against the Philistines all the days of Samuel. 

14 Then the cities which the Philistines had taken from Israel were restored to Israel, from Ekron to Gath; and Israel recovered its territory from the hands of the Philistines. Also, there was peace between Israel and the Amorites.”

Our situation in the USA is similar to what Israel was going through at this time. When the people of God departed from God and didn’t see Him at work, they wondered if He had forgotten them. So, too, do many who have been praying at this hour! We are longing for that time when the children of God will turn away from every idol and serve God alone! 

This nation has no future apart from God’s intervention! As intercessors, we must lament over our condition as a nation, and cry out to the Lord, repenting and asking Him to turn the hearts of the people of this nation to Himself, so that He might heal our land! 

Right now, we are enslaved as a nation, and we must turn back to God, the only One Who can deliver us and cause us to fulfill our destiny! Lord, have mercy on us! We prayed corporately into this!

Lord, have mercy on us!

Lord, have mercy on us. Come and heal our land.

Cleanse with Your Fire, heal with Your Touch.

Humbly we bow and call upon You now.

Oh, Lord, have mercy on us. Lord, have mercy on us.

During the War for Independence 247 years ago, the Founders KNEW that God was with them. We need to have that kind of relationship restored again, and as we do, let us turn back to Him and receive His help!

Maureen prayed over us and shared the above quote from David Barton and prayed for our nation!

Danielle (SC) Isaiah 55: Said that Robert’s aneurysm was ready to burst…but God! She shared that God spoke to her “if this was easy, would you forget Me again?” There is a group called the 24/7 NSPC located strategically across the country. I felt that as I was inquiring, those who have been praying for America together, and we have people in the various states that love God and love America, and we wait on Him, It is time to till the spiritual soil, with a hand full of people in each state, we can stand in the gap for this country. God has spoken to us, and the assignment we have is to pray what we’ve heard from Him back to Him, and as we do, He will break through! 

Maureen affirmed that this was the reason that the 24/7 State Strategic Prayer Calls were established. We must have intercessors on the ground, holding their ground in the individual states, and gathering together for prayer each week. Rachel (MS) Update! Good news, Intercessors!! If you recall, at the end of July our focus was to pray for Providence Christian School in MA. They had had black lash about using the ABeka curriculum. Well, I just talked to the school!!! They open classes using ABEKA on the day after Labor Day!!!! She said the school board vote was divided, but THE LORD PREVAILED!!! Hallelujah!!!! Rejoice, rejoice, intercessors!! The prayers we pray are NOT in vain!!!

Susan (GA) A Step Closer to going home…Tube surgery checked out ok. Gave all clear to feed. HalleluYah!

Prayer requests: 

Stephanie (TX) needs to get from Houston to a family member’s funeral tomorrow in San Antonio. Has to make arrangements to bury her dog that died last night. Grief-stricken. Recent trauma with the healthy husband having 3 emergency surgeries in a week, at the same time Boost shut off her phone. Her husband Raymond is recovering at home. We continue to pray he gains weight and heals quickly in preparation for surgery to reverse the temporary colostomy. Now she needs JESUS’ Touch to get through and receive love and comfort from His Word.

We prayed corporately for these two…with thankfulness for the progress of one, and help in time of need for the other!

We pray for our upcoming elections, that there will be paper ballots, hand counted at local precincts, with results made public and then turned in to the Supervisors of Elections in each Country in each State. 

We then prayed individually.

Debbie (TX) thanked God for those trying to resolve the election issues. Asked for forgiveness for turning to everyone else but YOU, in trying to solve our national problems! 

Candace (Canada) we know there is no solution unless the Presence of God is in us. Let the roots go down deep into You so the Church would reject shallow Christianity. Colossians 2:7 “so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding [d]in it with thanksgiving.” The 

American Revolution was about YOU…we were set apart for Your purposes at this hour! Let truth return to the election.

We paused just before 9 PM, as we do nightly, to pray for the J6 prisoners from across the nation,

We declare “LET MY PEOPLE GO!” and pray that they all will be set free!

We prayed that they would know that they are NOT abandoned, but that we stand with them! 

Then Tesi (FL) led us in singing the National Anthem, united from our 50 states across the nation!

Having prayed on-site for them in DC, we continue to stand with them and their families,

praying that they would be set free, return to their lives and loved ones, 

and be compensated for the injustice they have suffered! 

We lifted up those who were enduring such persecution and torment and denied basic needs. May those who are torturing them become aware of what they are doing, and cease.

Debbie (TX) thanked God that President Trump is a fighter! He, Melania and Barron, and other family members are strong, and they stand for America despite all we are going through. Speak to FOnald and Melania, and convict them of the deep need for repentance and leading the nation in that!

Pastor Ioan said that it is so stupid that the enemy would attempt to attack President Trump in one of the most corrupt places in the nation! We read this statement from the Trump team: 

TRUMP SPOKESWOMAN: “There is no better county to expose the corruption of the 2020 election than Fulton County, bar none. It’s the one county where we have the most hard evidence of fraud. “

We prayed into this, asking that President Trump and his team of attorneys would be well prepared to go into court in GA, and that no weapon formed against them will prevail, and every tongue that rises up against them will be proven false!

We learned that on the night of the debate, President Trump intends to be interviewed by Tucker Carlson, and they will top the ratings over FOX and all the ” wanna-be” Republican candidates!

“Why should I have to defend myself from bogus Indictments and numerous other lawsuits all of which have been brought and coordinated by the person that I’m running against, and leading in the polls, Crooked Joe Biden. This is an unprecedented situation that cannot be addressed individually, but only as a whole. These SEVEN cases are all about ELECTION INTERFERENCE – A very unfair situation that should be addressed by the United States Supreme Court, or other Presidents will do the same thing!!!”

We prayed for the SCOTUS to take, review and resolve this batch of cases, rejecting them as ELECTION INTERFERENCE! 

Sherrill (TX) pray for the clerks that work for the lawyers as they put together the cases that will go before the SCOTUS. No hindrance or obstacles of any kind…a clear path!

Pastor Ioan prayed for protection over President Trump during the campaign. There will be many who will try to pull off stunts like these bogus indictments, so we need a clarifying case where the SCOTUS rules it is ELECTION INTERFERENCE!

There is a hurricane named “Hilary” in the Pacific, which has the potential for flash flooding and destruction in S.CA and AZ. We prayed into this.

As we prepared to close the call, Pastor Ioan spoke of the rhythms of life we experience and suggested that those in the space station would observe it by working 6 days and resting on the Shabbat. Wherever we are, we become part of that rhythm created by God…on land, on sea, or in the air!
 

We shared in communion and prayed for this, our beloved nation! To God be the GLORY! AMEN!
