Sunday, April 5, 2020 – The 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call
PALM SUNDAY
“A CALL TO THE WALL…ONE NATION UNDER GOD”
1-712-770-4340 Code: 543555 #
We begin our hour by praising and giving thanks to God!
“Lift up your heads, O you gates! And be lifted up, you everlasting doors!
And the King of Glory shall come in.
Who is this King of Glory? The Lord strong and mighty, The Lord mighty in battle.”
Psalm 24:7-8
We sing: The King of Glory Comes
The King of Glory comes, the nation rejoices. Open the gates before Him, lift up your voices!
Who is the King of Glory; Who shall we call Him? He is Emmanuel, the Promised of ages!
The King of Glory comes, the nation rejoices. Open the gates before Him, lift up your voices!
In all of Galilee, in city or village, He goes among His people, curing their illness!
The King of Glory comes, the nation rejoices. Open the gates before Him, lift up your voices!
Sing then of David’ Son, our Savior and Brother; in all of Galilee was never another!
The King of Glory comes, the nation rejoices. Open the gates before Him, lift up your voices!
He gave His life for us, the Lamb of Salvation; He took upon Himself the sin of the nations!
The King of Glory comes, the nation rejoices. Open the gates before Him, lift up your voices!
He conquered sin and death; He truly has risen. And He will share with us His heavenly vision!
The King of Glory comes, the nation rejoices. Open the gates before Him, lift up your voices!

The key assignment for the 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call is to intercede hourly for the safety and security of our President, Donald John Trump, and to pray for that which pertains to our nation!
We pray for our President’s protection from the coronavirus and cover him with the Blood of Jesus.
Let him respond to every situation by the leading of the Holy Spirit!
We refer those to You who are plotting and planning the demise of our beloved President!
We say “No!” to them and ask that You expose and foil all their plans! Thank You, Lord!
We bless our First Lady, Melania, their marriage, their son Barron and all their family members.
We bless our Vice President Mike Pence, his wife Karen and their family
and all those serving in this Administration.
We pray for the mass media, which is allowing itself to be used and exploited by the “father of lies.”
We ask that it either reverses course and reports accurately or be taken down.
We pray for the Federal Reserve Board members, to use their power to boost our nation’s economy.
Let them act in accord with what is good for the USA!
The 24/7 NSPC is praying for the 2020 National Elections,
positioning ourselves in intercession before the Lord on behalf of our President and nation!
COUNTDOWN: 213 days until the election!
Let us pray into this verse:
“Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart”
Psalm 24:3-4
Strategic Focus for Sunday
WELCOME THE KING OF GLORY INTO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
Jesus’ TRIUMPHAL ENTRY
As we celebrate Palm Sunday and remember Jesus’ TRIUMPHAL ENTRY into Jerusalem, we are painfully aware that the Coronavirus continues to ravage the earth. It has sparked fear, stress, uncertainty, hoarding, greed, panic, and hostility in the hearts of people in every nation, and attempts to find some control over the “uncontrollable” has literally brought out the worst in many!
Yet we who know the One, True, Living and Loving, Compassionate God understand that He empowers us to be courageous, to live at peace, and stand in holy boldness. He wants His children to be known for our generosity, level-headedness and kindness…even at the hardest times! This only happens after He has made His TRIUMPHAL ENTRY into our lives, takes His place enthroned in our hearts and exudes His peace!
Today, as we pray for our President, we are going to pray for ourselves, our families and friends. We will also pray for those who have yet to become part of the family of God! May they experience the JOY of coming into relationship with Jesus, our Savior and Lord, and receive that same peace He has given us.
“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”
John 16:33
We pray:
- Father, we ask forgiveness for trying to control our circumstances, rather than placing our trust in You. May the heart of this nation be turned back to You, Lord. Have mercy on us, and as we humble ourselves before You, flood the atmosphere over this nation with Your sweet fragrance. Pray.
~~~
As we submit to Him, we wash our hands…and allow Him to cleanse our hearts of all fear and anxiety!
“Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.”
James 4:7
We pray:
- That we, as a nation, will humbly bow our hearts before God and repent for our national sins…especially the sin of abortion! Pray.
- That this nation will align with the WORD of GOD with ONE VOICE, we will petition Him to bring revival to our land. Pray.
~~~
Our focus is on God and we have turned our faces away from the activities of darkness.
“The thief does not come but to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly”
John 10:10
We pray:
- For God’s people to resist the devil and live the abundant life Jesus offers, May the church be strengthened to live extraordinary lives of service, compassion, and generosity, so those who have yet to receive Christ will see and want what we have, and be drawn to You …and into Your abundant life! Pray.
~~~
He is our peace. May fear and anxiety be overcome and cast out of every life, so that this nation is flooded with His peace… that passes understanding!
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:6-7
We pray:
- That, just as You calmed waves, storms and people, wherever You went, may we be carriers of Your peace in the face of this destructive virus that threatens the lives and livelihoods of many. Pray.
- Guard our hearts and minds so that our emotions and thoughts are tuned into You instead of the uncertainty that swirls around us. May we be overcomers who help others…rather than those who live in fear and focus on ourselves! Pray.
~~~
For the church take every opportunity to show compassion, creativity and unity and to radiate Christ to the world.
“That they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me. “Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world. O righteous Father! The world has not known You, but I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me. And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.”
John 17:21-26
We pray:
- That we will show the power of Jesus, and what it means to be lights on the hill and beacons of hope and transformation, as we reflect the Living Word, Jesus, to those in our communities. Pray.
- Give us courage and strength to do the extraordinary. Bring us into unity with one another across faith traditions to help in whatever ways we can, coming alongside of our local, state and federal government officials, first responders, the medical community and social services to meet the needs of people in unprecedented ways. Pray.
~~~
We all know people who fall into the high-risk group for being susceptible to Covid-19...the sick, elderly and those in compromised health situations who are the most vulnerable to this virus.
“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.”
Psalm 23:4
We pray:
- For the most vulnerable among us…the sick, elderly and compromised…and that might include some of us, or someone in our home. We ask God for protection for anyone…of any age…who is at risk. Pray.
~~~
You are Jehovah-Rophe, the God Who heals…our Great Physician We stand on Your Word, Lord, for You said:
“I will take sickness away from the midst of you.”
Exodus 23:25
We pray:
- May God remove sickness from our midst and bring healing to those who are ill. We ask for Your divine intervention and protection for those who are healthy. Care for them, Lord, as they protect and serve. Pray.
~~~
Separation from friends or loved ones causes many to feel lonely or lost. We come against depression, despondency, despair and death for those who are isolated and alone, for those who, through no fault of their own, lost their jobs and have no income, and for those who feel helpless or hopeless. May God use us as the hands and feet of Jesus for others.
“Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.”
1 Peter 5:6-7
We pray:
- That we would pay attention to the needs of those who are quarantined, feeling isolated or forlorn! Help us to want to support them emotionally…and to reach out and connect with calls, cards, texts and emails! Pray.
- That we will support local businesses as they learn to operate differently. Pray.
- That people who want work will find jobs as soon as we reopen the economy! Pray.
- That first responders, medical personnel and other working parents with children out of school will find decent safe, childcare! Pray.
NIGHT of HOSANNAS!
April 5, 2020
“That the coming generation might know – even children yet to be born – to arise and tell their children, that they should put their confidence in God, not forgetting His works, but keeping His commandments.”
Psalm 78:6-7
You, your family and friends are invited to join in a candlelight vigil on Palm Sunday evening,
on behalf of children who have yet to be born.
As we remember and celebrate Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem, we can picture families lining the streets, waving palm branches and shouting “HOSANNA! Lord, save us!” What a powerful moment it must have been to see Jesus as He entered their city to shouts and acclamations!
Tonight, across this land and in many nations, many believers will be making that same declaration the Jewish people made on that first Palm Sunday: “Hosanna! Lord save us.” This “Night of Hosannas!” is a way for every individual and family to take a public stand for the unborn…to be a light for life! As we publicly repent for the sin of abortion, we will offer our own “HOSANNAS!” …on behalf of unborn babies. Let us also cry out “HOSANNA! Lord, save US” …for the US…the United States …during this, our hour of our need.
Invite family, neighbors, friends to stand in their driveways with lit candles and picture God looking down from Heaven, seeing the lights of thousands upon thousands of candles…representing the birthday of children born, not aborted. You might even want to bake a birthday cake to share with your loved ones afterward!
We pray:
- We thank God for all the positive things that are taking place in homes during this time…families being together – eating meals together – studying and playing games together…and for the time we have been given to spend with the Lord, as we prepare to move through HOLY WEEK…walking with Jesus through His passion and death and on…to Resurrection Day! May this be a Night…and a week…of HOSANNAS! Pray.
