We begin our hour by praising and giving thanks to God!
“Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified.

The angel up on the tombstone said He has risen, just as He said!
Quickly now, go tell His disciples that Jesus Christ is no longer dead!

The key assignment for the 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call is to intercede hourly
for the safety and security of President Donald John Trump,
and to pray for that which pertains to our nation!
We pray for his protection, for our First Lady, Melania and their marriage
and for all the members of their family.
We cover them all with the Blood of Jesus.
We ask that in every situation and decision, President Trump will be led by the Holy Spirit!
Pray.
The 24/7 NSPC continues to stand for righteousness and justice in our nation,
and together, we affirm Donald Trump as our duly elected President!

We bless our Vice President Mike Pence, his wife Karen and their family.
Pray.
We pray that the evil actions of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris will be exposed
and that they be removed from office!
Pray.
We pray for ourselves and our loved ones, and corporately put on the full armor of God!
Particular prayer needed immediately… for Deborah Cole, Repeka Nuusa, and Teddi Dial…
to be healed totally of cancer that is attacking them!

WELCOME THE KING OF GLORY INTO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
ONE NATION UNDER GOD, INDIVISIBLE, WITH LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL!
RESURRECTION DAY!
Resurrection…transition / translation from death…to life!
For those who have had the privilege of being with someone we love as they “graduate” from this life to everlasting life, it’s an experience that we never forget. Those who were at the foot of the cross, who watched Jesus suffer were unable to hold and comfort Him, yet their very presence declared their solidarity with and love for Him!
We, His disciples today, have that same opportunity. As we go to the places He sends us, do what He tells us to do, speak a word of comfort, encouragement or deliverance to those who are suffering or tormented, we are serving as His witnesses, declaring our solidarity with Him…and extending His love to those we encounter!
On this day, as we celebrate His Resurrection…His transition / translation from death to life…we remember all those in our 24/7 family who are going through seasons of pain and suffering. We carry them in our hearts, and although we may be miles apart and unable to hold and comfort them, we are one in Him…and never further than a prayer apart.
We pray:
- In gratitude for being able to walk with our sisters and brothers on this journey, and to be able to share in their sufferings. Pray.
- That as we stand together in solidarity, we will share Christ’s love with one another…and see these loved ones resurrected from all that has kept them entombed, released from their pain and suffering…and healed and made whole. Pray.
Noah Webster, one of our nation’s Founding Fathers, was an outspoken supporter of the new Constitution, and served as a Federalist spokesman, defending the administrations of George Washington and John Adams His 1828 American Dictionary contained the greatest number of Biblical definitions given in any one reference volume. It emphasized the virtues of social control over human passions and individualism, submission to authority, and fear of God, all necessary for the maintenance of the American social order. He said:
“Education is useless without the Bible. The Bible was America’s basic text book in all fields.
God’s Word, contained in the Bible, has furnished all necessary rules to direct our conduct.”
His emphasis on God’s Word is seen in the definition of “resurrection” sound in the Merriam Webster dictionary:
- “Resurrection” – when capitalized – “the rising of Christ from the dead”,
- It also applies to “the rising again to life of all the human dead before the final judgment.”
What better way could we commemorate and celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, than to follow Webster’s example and look to God’s Word…and read and pray into the account of the Resurrected Christ’s interactions with the women and men who were His disciples…to whom He appeared after His Resurrection! Please have the elements ready, and we’ll take communion together at the end of the hour, to celebrate our Lord and King!
Luke 24
Now on the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they, and certain other women with them,
came to the tomb bringing the spices which they had prepared.
But they found the stone rolled away from the tomb.
Then they went in and did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.
And it happened, as they were greatly perplexed about this, that behold, two men stood by them in shining garments.
Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth,
they said to them, “Why do you seek the living among the dead?
He is not here, but is risen!
Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee, saying,
‘The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.’ ”
And they remembered His words.
Pray.
Then they returned from the tomb and told all these things to the eleven and to all the rest.
It was Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the mother of James, and the other women with them,
who told these things to the apostles.
And their words seemed to them like idle tales, and they did not believe them.
But Peter arose and ran to the tomb; and stooping down, he saw the linen cloths lying by themselves;
and he departed, marveling to himself at what had happened.
Pray.
Now behold, two of them were traveling that same day to a village called Emmaus,
which was seven miles from Jerusalem.
And they talked together of all these things which had happened.
So it was, while they conversed and reasoned, that Jesus Himself drew near and went with them.
But their eyes were restrained, so that they did not know Him.
Pray.
And He said to them, “What kind of conversation is this that you have with one another as you walk and are sad?”
Then the one whose name was Cleopas answered and said to Him,
“Are You the only stranger in Jerusalem, and have You not known the things which happened there in these days?”
And He said to them, “What things?”
So they said to Him, “The things concerning Jesus of Nazareth,
who was a Prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people,
and how the chief priests and our rulers delivered Him to be condemned to death, and crucified Him.
But we were hoping that it was He who was going to redeem Israel.
Pray.
Indeed, besides all this, today is the third day since these things happened.
Yes, and certain women of our company, who arrived at the tomb early, astonished us.
When they did not find His body, they came saying that they had also seen a vision of angels who said He was alive.
And certain of those who were with us went to the tomb and found it just as the women had said;
but Him they did not see.”
Pray.
Then He said to them, “O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken!
Ought not the Christ to have suffered these things and to enter into His glory?”
And beginning at Moses and all the Prophets,
He expounded to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself.
Pray.
Then they drew near to the village where they were going, and He indicated that He would have gone farther.
But they constrained Him, saying, “Abide with us, for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent.”
And He went in to stay with them.
Now it came to pass, as He sat at the table with them, that He took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them.
Then their eyes were opened and they knew Him; and He vanished from their sight.
Pray.
And they said to one another,
“Did not our heart burn within us while He talked with us on the road,
and while He opened the Scriptures to us?”
Pray.
So they rose up that very hour and returned to Jerusalem,
and found the eleven and those who were with them gathered together,
saying, “The Lord is risen indeed, and has appeared to Simon!”
And they told about the things that had happened on the road,
and how He was known to them in the breaking of bread.
Pray.
We pray:
- That our beloved President, who has a father’s heart and has suffered much on behalf of righteousness and justice, will experience the Resurrection power of Jesus Christ that will empower him to rise up and take his rightful place in and for our nation at this hour. Pray.
- That our nation will once again throw off all that is accosting it, rise from its “sickbed” and walk out of the darkness…and into His glorious light. Pray.
Take communion together and seal all the prayers that have been prayed today!
