Apr 27, 2020 – Prayer Focus
Monday, April 27, 2020 – The 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call
“A CALL TO THE WALL…ONE NATION UNDER GOD”
1-712-770-4340 Code: 543555 #
We begin our hour by praising and giving thanks to God!
“They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony,
and they did not love their lives to the death.”
Revelation 12:11
We sing: We Shall Overcome
We shall overcome, we shall overcome, we shall overcome, some day…
Oh, deep in my heart, I do believe that we shall overcome, some day!
We’ll walk hand in hand, we’ll walk hand in hand, we’ll walk hand in hand, some day.
Oh, deep in my heart, I do believe that we shall overcome, some day!
We are not afraid, we are not afraid, We are not afraid, today…
Oh, deep in my heart, I do believe that we shall overcome, some day!

The key assignment for the 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call is to intercede hourly for the safety and security of our President, Donald John Trump, and to pray for that which pertains to our nation!
We pray for our President’s protection from the coronavirus and cover him with the Blood of Jesus.
Let him respond to every situation by the leading of the Holy Spirit!
We refer those to You who are plotting and planning the demise of our beloved President!
We say “No!” to them and ask that You expose and foil all their plans! Thank You, Lord!
We bless our First Lady, Melania, their marriage, their son Barron and all their family members.
We bless our Vice President Mike Pence, his wife Karen and their family
and all those serving in this Administration.
We pray for the mass media, which is being used and exploited by the “father of lies.”
We ask that it either reverses course and reports accurately, or be taken down.
We pray for the Federal Reserve Board members, to use their power to boost our nation’s economy.
Let them act in accord with what is good for the USA!
The 24/7 NSPC is praying for the 2020 National Elections,
positioning ourselves in intercession before the Lord on behalf of our President and nation!
COUNTDOWN: 191 days until the election!
Let us pray into this verse:
For everyone born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world — our faith.
1 John 5:4
Strategic Focus for Monday
WELCOME THE KING OF GLORY INTO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
ONE NATION UNDER GOD, INDIVISIBLE, WITH LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL!
Praying for the States that are Reopening – We shall overcome!
“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. Behold, all those who were incensed against you shall be ashamed and disgraced; they shall be as nothing, and those who strive with you shall perish. You shall seek them and not find them. Those who contended with you, those who war against you shall be as nothing, as a nonexistent thing. For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand, saying to you, Fear not, I will help you.”
Isaiah 41:10-13
“We shall overcome!” Powerful words…and a confident confession of faith! As we stand in a world filled with uncertainty and proclaim the overcoming power of Jesus Christ to those trapped in the darkness, we ask that the Spirit of the Living God will cause them to hear the Word, throw off their chains and enter into the LIGHT… and into His arms!
We pray:
- This day, we cry out corporately, for our nation and for each of our individual states. Let the people of God in each state awaken, arise and begin to adore the Lord…praying as never before..and loving their states into wholeness and holiness!
As we continue to pray on alternate days for the states that are relaunching their economies, and those who are resisting any part of reopening, today we are praying for these states who are already “in process”. We begin by offering “KUDOS” to Governor Kristi Noem of South Dakota for her bold and fearless leadership in her state. We applaud the way in which she has honored and respected not only her oath of office but the precious rights and responsibilities of her citizens to make personal decisions to keep themselves safe and healthy… without her interference.
Governor Noem made a critical decision to let the 880,000 citizens of her state decide on their own whether to follow her suggestions as to social-distancing and other behaviors to fight the coronavirus. In an official statement, this bold Governor said: “My role with respect to public safety is something I take very seriously. But the people themselves are primarily responsible for their [own] safety…South Dakotans are stepping up and taking their personal responsibility seriously.… because of this our projections continue to improve.”
Despite SD remaining free of lockdown / shutdown / stay-at-home orders, there was no significant surge in virus cases, as was projected by various predictive models…it simply failed to materialize. She said that the people of SD have practiced social distancing, washed their hands and stayed home if they weren’t feeling well. By doing that, hospitalization rates were cut by 75%.
- Governor Noem said that wasn’t going to dictate to them, that she valued their freedoms and liberties and was going to let them take action on behalf of their families and communities. The facts on the ground here did not support shelter-in-place, as SD just didn’t have the spread.
- She said that she took an oath to uphold our state Constitution and believes in people’s freedoms and liberties. She always balances that with every decision that she makes as Governor. She gets “overly concerned with leaders who take too much power in a time of crisis…that’s how we directly lose our country someday by leaders overstepping their proper role. I trust my people. I know that if business owners here are given an opportunity to be innovative, they will protect their customers. They will take actions and change business models to make sure their employees are safe and that they can practice social distancing while still serving their customers. I knew I had to give them an opportunity to survive.”
We pray:
- In gratitude for SD Governor Noem for setting a Godly example of leadership, by resisting the temptation to use the virus as a means to usurp powers that are limited by their state constitutions.
Others taking those first steps to reopen need our prayer support and encouragement! Let’s pray for each of these!
- Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt (R) will permit hair and nail salons and other personal care businesses to reopen on May 1, as long as they follow social distancing and sanitation guidelines. State parks are also opening and hospitals will be allowed to resume elective surgeries. Stitt defended his decision claiming it was made after a “steady decline since March 30th” in hospitalizations. “That’s when we decided to have a measured reopening. We’re always going to be data-driven in Oklahoma.” Pray.
- Alaska’s stay-at-home order has expired, and Governor Mike Dunleavy (R) is allowing restaurants and other retail businesses to reopen, as long as they follow the health mandates issued by the state. Pray.
- In Tennessee, Governor Bill Lee (R) said that “the vast majority of businesses” will be allowed to reopen when the state’s stay-at-home order expires on April 30, and state parks and dine-in restaurants were allowed to open with reduced capacity. Tennessee was one of the last states to issue a stay-at-home order. Tennessee’s largest cities, such as Nashville and Memphis, are drafting their own reopening plans. “We want to have the majority of businesses open before May 1, but not every industry will be in a position open safely immediately.” Pray.
- Mississippi Governor Tate Reeves (R) announced that his stay-at-home order is expiring and that a “safer at home” order will go into effect today. Pray.
- In Texas, Governor Greg Abbott (R) has allowed some stores to offer “retail to go” but they must do so at reduced capacity. Residents are still required to wear face masks in public places. The state’s stay-at-home order remains in effect until April 30, while state parks reopened earlier this week. Pray.
- Colorado Governor Jared Polis (D) said that after the state’s stay-at-home order expires, the state will enter a “safer at home” phase during which residents will be recommended to stay home but not obligated to do so. The new restrictions allow small businesses and personal services such as hair salons to reopen, though they’ll be under health restrictions and must follow certain guidelines not yet provided by the state. Pray/
- Montana Governor Steve Bullock (D) announced a phased reopening starting Sunday, when churches will be allowed to reopen with social distancing measures in place. Restaurants serving customers at reduced capacity and schools will be allowed to reopen on May 7. Pray.
As these Governors have seriously and thoughtfully weighed and considered critical information, and have now initiated the reopening of their individual states, we speak LIFE over them, covering them and the people of their states with the Blood of Jesus!
We pray:
- That the Lord will stand beside these Governors, to guide and back them up in this reopening process, and that the people of these states will be appreciative of their efforts and cooperate with the guidelines so they can have a safe reopening! Pray.
- That those Governors who are doing what they feel is in the best interests of their people will prevail in their efforts to reopen safely! They will NOT be ashamed, ridiculed or tripped up by those who want to see our nation’s economy stymied and toppled! Pray.
- We command a blessing on each state as it begins reopening, and declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper…and every evil plan of the enemy to harm their citizens will be thwarted and crushed, and be of no avail! We boldly declare that there will be NO second wave of the virus in any part of our nation! Pray.
- We reaffirm our prayer to see each Governor call their people to pray in their states, as Georgia’s Brian Kemp is doing today! Let him be the first of many to call upon the Lord in this opening process!

One man who has proven to be an overcomer and uses his influence for good is conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh. President Trump recently honored him with the Medal of Freedom, and although he is fighting the battle of his life against advanced lung cancer, he remains strong in the Lord and is speaking out. As we share his thoughts about “reopening”, let us pray into each point, as the Spirit leads us.
Rush says:
- Getting the economy reopened ought to be the overriding objective of everybody. Every day that it’s shut down, we’re destroying it…and anybody not interested in doing whatever has to be done to get the economy going, to get people living their dreams again — anybody who is not focused on that — is automatically suspicious to me. Pray.
- Now, here comes the crowd that doesn’t want it to happen. The Democrat Party wants to deepen this shutdown for as long as they can as a political objective. They know how damaging this is to the President…how damaging it potentially is. The debate’s gonna center around the computer model…because computer models (which haven’t even been close to being right yet) combined with the great thinking of American politicians is what shut us down. Pray.
- Something has gotta give. This just is not sustainable. I’m hoping that there’s a state somewhere out there that grows so fed up with this, that some Governor… just reopens. I do not believe that it represents greed or selfishness to be desirous of people earning a living again and producing things in the American economy….with people getting up and living their lives, creating commerce amongst themselves. The American economy is virtually everything human behavior engages in and the more of it, the better… the more prosperous everybody is. Pray.
- It boggles my mind that there are people in responsible positions of power who do not seem to have it reopening as an objective. I can understand medical people being worried and saying, “It’s gonna be really, really risky.” But the idea that we shouldn’t do it? Sorry, that doesn’t compute…it’s not doable. Pray.
- President Trump is talking seriously about opening…and some people are gonna open their businesses ’cause they’ve got no choice. They have to eat… pay rent… feed their kids. At some point, this has got to give. At some point, some Americans are not going to just continue to stay home. It is simply not normal to want this circumstance that we’re in to continue. It is not normal in any which way you define it. Pray.
