Sunday, April 12, 2020 – The 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call       RESURRECTION DAY

“A CALL TO THE WALL…ONE NATION UNDER GOD”

We begin our hour by praising and giving thanks to God!

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life.

He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.

And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”

She said to Him, “Yes, Lord, I believe that You are the Christ, the Son of God, who is to come into the world.”

John 11:25-27

We sing: WE BELIEVE!

In this time of desperation when all we know is doubt and fear

There is only one foundation: We believe, we believe!

In this broken generation when all is dark, You help us see

there is only one salvation: We believe, we believe!

We believe in God the Father…we believe in Jesus Christ…we believe in the Holy Spirit

and He’s given us new life!

We believe in the crucifixion…we believe that He conquered death…we believe in the resurrection

and He’s comin’ back again!

We believe!

So, let our faith be more than anthems, greater than the songs we sing.

In our weakness and temptations: We believe, we believe!

We believe in God the Father…we believe in Jesus Christ…we believe in the Holy Spirit

and He’s given us new life!

We believe in the crucifixion…we believe that He conquered death…we believe in the resurrection

and He’s comin’ back again!

We believe

Let the lost be found and the dead be raised in the here and now, let love invade!

Let the church live love our God will see: We believe, we believe!

And the gates of hell will not prevail, for the power of God, has torn the vail.

Now we know Your love will never fail: We believe, we believe!

We believe in God the Father…we believe in Jesus Christ…we believe in the Holy Spirit

and He’s given us new life!

We believe in the crucifixion…we believe that He conquered death…we believe in the resurrection

and He’s comin’ back again!

We believe

Strategic Focus for Sunday

WELCOME THE KING OF GLORY INTO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

HE IS RISEN! HalleluYah! WE BELIEVE!

On Resurrection morn, when Mary and the disciples saw the empty tomb, they had physical proof that the tomb was empty. BUT not until Jesus appeared to them…and they had a personal encounter with Himdid they truly believe that He had risenThat same evening, when He stood in their midst, and ate and spoke to them, “He opened their understanding, that they might comprehend the Scriptures”…and then they finally grasped the reality of   “resurrection”…He was LIVING PROOF!

In the same way, the disciples on the way to Emmaus had no idea Who they were speaking with, although they later confessed that they had felt their hearts burning within them, “while He talked with us on the road, and while He opened the Scriptures to us!”  Yet, it was not until they broke bread together that they recognized Him…for it was then that “their eyes were opened and they knew Him.”

In order to experience salvation, each of us must have our own personal encounter with the Lord Jesus.   There is no way to be “saved” through knowledge, spiritual practices or self-discipline alone. We must “know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings”  Philippians 3:10  and recognize that there is only One Way to God, and that is through THE WAY, THE TRUTH and THE LIFE…Jesus!

This week, across this nation and around the world, God is drawing people to His Son!  In all God is working together for the good of those who are being called to Him. In this holy time of “suspension”, as people seek answers to their deepest questions and satisfaction for their deepest longings, we will see more people will come to the Lord than ever before!  HalleluYah!

We pray:

  • For our family members and friends, those whom we have carried in our hearts in prayer before Your Throne. Let their eyes and ears be opened by the Holy Spirit, so they will hear Your Voice, Lord, and answer You! Pray.
  • We bring our beloved President before You, Lord, and we thank You for the precious relationship You have with him, Lord.  Show Yourself strong on his behalf. Give him wisdom for the decisions he is weighing on behalf of our nation. Fulfill Your Word within him as it is spoken out and cause it to come to pass! Pray.
  • Take us deeper, Lord, and cause this time to be when we will see the  RESURRECTION of our nation! Pray.

Let us enter into the Word and rejoice over the Resurrection this glorious day, reading and praying into each portion!

Now on the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they, and certain other women with them, came to the tomb bringing the spices which they had prepared. But they found the stone rolled away from the tomb. Then they went in and did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.

Pray.

And it happened, as they were greatly perplexed about this, that two men stood by them in shining garments. Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them,  “Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee, saying, ‘The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.’ ” And they remembered His words.

Pray.

Then they returned from the tomb and told all these things to the eleven and to all the rest. It was Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the mother of James, and the other women with them, who told these things to the apostles.  And their words seemed to them like idle tales, and they did not believe them. But Peter arose and ran to the tomb; and stooping down, he saw the linen cloths lying by themselves; and he departed, marveling to himself at what had happened.

Pray.

Now behold, two of them were traveling that same day to a village called Emmaus, which was seven miles from Jerusalem.  And they talked together of all these things which had happened. So it was, while they conversed and reasoned, that Jesus Himself drew near and went with them. But their eyes were restrained, so that they did not know Him.

Pray.

And He said to them, “What kind of conversation is this that you have with one another as you walk and are sad?” Then the one whose name was Cleopas answered and said to Him, “Are You the only stranger in Jerusalem, and have You not known the things which happened there in these days?” And He said to them, “What things?” So they said to Him, “The things concerning Jesus of Nazareth, who was a Prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people, and how the chief priests and our rulers delivered Him to be condemned to death, and crucified Him. But we were hoping that it was He who was going to redeem Israel.

Pray.

Indeed, besides all this, today is the third day since these things happened. Yes, and certain women of our company, who arrived at the tomb early, astonished us. When they did not find His body, they came saying that they had also seen a vision of angels who said He was alive.  And certain of those who were with us went to the tomb and found it just as the women had said; but Him they did not see.”

Pray.

Then He said to them, “O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken! Ought not the Christ to have suffered these things and to enter into His glory?” And beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, He expounded to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself.

Pray.

Then they drew near to the village where they were going, and He indicated that He would have gone farther. But they constrained Him, saying, “Abide with us, for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent.” And He went in to stay with them. Now it came to pass, as He sat at the table with them, that He took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them. Then their eyes were opened and they knew Him; and He vanished from their sight. And they said to one another, “Did not our heart burn within us while He talked with us on the road, and while He opened the Scriptures to us?”

Pray.

So they rose up that very hour and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven and those who were with them gathered together.  saying, “The Lord is risen indeed, and has appeared to Simon!” And they told about the things that had happened on the road, and how He was known to them in the breaking of bread.

Pray.

Now as they said these things, Jesus Himself stood in the midst of them, and said to them, “Peace to you.” But they were terrified and frightened, and supposed they had seen a spirit.  And He said to them, “Why are you troubled? And why do doubts arise in your hearts? Behold My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself. Handle Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see I have.” When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His feet. But while they still did not believe for joy, and marveled, He said to them, “Have you any food here?” So they gave Him a piece of a broiled fish and some honeycomb. And He took it and ate in their presence.

Pray.

Then He said to them, “These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled  which were written in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms concerning Me.” And He opened their understanding, that they might comprehend the Scriptures.

Pray.

Jesus began both to do and teach, until the day in which He was taken up, after He through the Holy Spirit had given commandments to the apostles whom He had chosen, to whom He also presented Himself alive after His suffering by many infallible proofs,  being seen by them during forty days and speaking of the things pertaining to the Kingdom of God.

Luke 24:1-45 and Acts 1:1-3

Pray.

We pray:

  • That the eyes of the American people will be opened so they come to know and receive Jesus as Savior! Pray.
  • That this nation will experience a GREAT AWAKENING and that the harvest from it will be profound. Pray.
  • God will be glorified throughout the United States, and in every city and community, His Name will be exalted! Pray.
