Wednesday, April 1, 2020 – The 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call

“A CALL TO THE WALL…ONE NATION UNDER GOD”

1-712-770-4340   Code:  543555 #

We begin our hour by praising and giving thanks to God!

“Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus.”

Colossians 3:17

We sing: Heart of Worship

When the music fades, all is stripped away and I simply come

Longing just to bring something that’s of worth that will bless Your heart

I’ll bring You more than a song for a song in itself is not what You have required

You search much deeper within through the way things appear, You’re looking into my heart

I’m coming back to the heart of worship and it’s all about You, It’s all about You, Jesus!

I’m sorry, Lord, for the thing I’ve made it, when it’s all about You, It’s all about you, Jesus!

King of endless worth, no one could express how much You deserve

Though I’m weak and poor, all I have is Yours, every single breath

I’ll bring You more than a song, for a song in itself is not what you have required

You search much deeper within through the way things appear, You’re looking into my heart!

I’m coming back to the heart of worship and it’s all about You, It’s all about You, Jesus!

I’m sorry, Lord, for the thing I’ve made it, when it’s all about You, It’s all about you, Jesus!

The key assignment for the 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call is to intercede hourly for the safety and security of our President, Donald John Trump, and to pray for that which pertains to our nation!

We pray for our President’s protection from the coronavirus and cover him with the Blood of Jesus.

Let him respond to every situation by the leading of the Holy Spirit!

We refer those to You who are plotting and planning the demise of our beloved President!

We say “No!” to them and ask that You expose and foil all their plans! Thank You, Lord!

We bless our First Lady, Melania, their marriage, their son Barron and all their family members.

We bless our Vice President Mike Pence, his wife Karen and their family

and all those serving in this Administration.

We pray for the mass media, which is allowing itself to be used and exploited by the “father of lies.”

We ask that it either reverses course and reports accurately, or be taken down.

We pray for the Federal Reserve Board members, to use their power to boost our nation’s economy.

Let them act in accord with what is good for the USA!

The 24/7 NSPC is praying for the 2020 National Elections,

positioning ourselves in intercession before the Lord on behalf of our President and nation!

COUNTDOWN: 217 days until the election!

Let us pray into this verse:

“Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.”

Galatians 6:2

Strategic Focus for Wednesday

WELCOME THE KING OF GLORY INTO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

30 DAYS TO SLOW THE SPREAD

“Let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.”

Ephesians 6:9-10

On Tuesday, the White House released updated coronavirus guidelines: 30 DAYS TO SLOW THE SPREAD. This is an extension of the previous “15 days to slow the spread” guidelines and will help all of us to protect our health and the health of our family members as we all make a concerted effort to put these guidelines into practice!

We pray:

  • That because of widespread cooperation by the people of this nation, many lives will be spared! Pray.

Let us read through and then pray into each of these guidelines, let us take them to heart!

  • Follow the directions of our STATE AND LOCAL AUTHORITIES. Pray.
  • IF YOU FEEL SICK, stay home. Do not go to work. Contact your medical provider.
    • IF YOUR CHILDREN ARE SICK, keep them at home. Do not send them to school. Contact your medical provider.
    • IF SOMEONE IN YOUR HOUSEHOLD HAS TESTED POSITIVE for the coronavirus, keep the entire household at home. Do not go to work. Do not go to school. Contact your medical provider. Pray.
  • IF YOU ARE AN OLDER PERSON, or A PERSON WITH A SERIOUS UNDERLYING HEALTH CONDITION that can put you at increased risk (for example, a condition that impairs your lung or heart function or weakens your immune system), stay home and away from other people.  Pray.

Every person is urged to  DO THEIR  PART TO SLOW THE SPREAD OF THE CORONAVIRUS. Even if someone is young, or otherwise healthy, everyone is at risk and our activities can increase the risk for others. It is critical that each of us do our part to slow the spread of the coronavirus.

  • Work or engage in schooling FROM HOME whenever possible. IF YOU WORK IN A CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE INDUSTRY, as defined by the Department of Homeland Security, such as healthcare services and pharmaceutical and food supply, you have a special responsibility to maintain your normal work schedule. You and your employers should follow CDC guidance to protect your health at work. Pray.
  • AVOID SOCIAL GATHERINGS in groups of more than 10 people.  Bars, restaurants, food courts, gyms, and other indoor and outdoor venues where groups of people congregate should be closed. Avoid eating or drinking at bars, restaurants, and food courts – USE DRIVE-THRU, PICKUP, OR DELIVERY OPTIONS  Pray.
  • AVOID DISCRETIONARY TRAVEL, shopping trips, and social visits  Pray.
  • Older people are particularly at risk from the coronavirus. All states should follow Federal guidance and halt social visits to nursing homes and retirement and long-term care facilities. DO NOT VISIT nursing homes or retirement or long-term care facilities unless to provide critical assistance.  Pray.
  • States and localities that close schools need to address childcare needs of critical responders, as well as the nutritional needs of children. Pray.
  • PRACTICE GOOD HYGIENE:
    • Wash your hands, especially after touching any frequently used item or surface.
    • Avoid touching your face.
    • Sneeze or cough into a tissue, or the inside of your elbow.
    • Disinfect frequently used items and surfaces as much as possible. Pray.

Watching the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases grow can make people feel helpless, and although we all need to take steps to stay safe, some have become needlessly fearful. They worry they may get infected when they handle mail, or shop for groceries, or just breathe in the air when they run errands. In most cases, this fear is based on misinformation or by lack of information about how to protect yourself.

It helps to understand the most likely ways people can become infected.

  • If someone with the virus coughs or sneezes close to you, droplets can spread to your eyes, nose or mouth.
  • If that person coughs or touches an object which you touch, the virus can transfer onto your hands.
  • If you then touch your face, the virus can get into your eyes, nose or mouth.

Here are simple things you can do to help stop the virus’ spread and keep yourself and your community safer.

  • STAY HOME!  If you feel sick, stay home. If you feel fine, stay home. The goal is to avoid exposing others to the virus (especially those who are elderly or people who are medically vulnerable) and to prevent yourself from being exposed. It’s one of the best ways we can contain the spread of the virus and keep our hospitals from becoming overloaded.  Pray.
  • DO plan carefully for trips outside. You may need to leave your home to work, buy necessities or get some exercise and fresh air. Be prepared when you do.
  • Keep hand sanitizer with you and use it every time you re-enter your car or house.
  • If you must touch doorknobs, push plates, elevator buttons, handrails or handles on sinks and paper towel dispensers, bring a tissue or other clean object to use and discard it after use.
  • If possible, only ride an elevator when there’s no one else in it.
  • After returning home, wash your hands well with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or clean them with an alcohol-based sanitizer. (Even better: do this while you’re away from home, too.)
  • Pray.
  • DO cover your cough or sneeze. Whether you’re at home or not, and whether it’s allergies, the common cold, or COVID-19, make this an everyday habit. Here’s how.
  • Cough or sneeze into a tissue, throw it away and then wash your hands with soap and water for 20 seconds or clean them with an alcohol-based sanitizer.
  • If you cough or sneeze into your arm or sleeve, your arm or sleeve may now be contaminated and can spread infection to anyone who touches it. You should regularly clean clothing, especially frequently worn items such as outer layers.
  • If you cough or sneeze into your hand, wash your hands with soap and water for 20 seconds or clean them with an alcohol-based sanitizer.
  • Pray.
  • DON’T visit crowded places  If you can, avoid going to areas where you could be in close contact with others. Stay at least six feet away from as many people as possible. Try to avoid:
  • Public restrooms
  • Buses, trains and airplanes
  • Airports
  • Movie theaters
  • Concerts
  • Sporting events
  • Meetings and conferences.
  • Pray.
  • DON’T touch your face.
    • Don’t rest your face in your hands while sitting at a table or desk.
    • If your face itches and you can’t resist scratching, don’t use your hands. Instead, use a clean object, such as tissue or a clean scrap of paper.
    • If you have to touch your face, for example to use eyedrops, wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or use an alcohol-based sanitizer first, or wear clean, unused nitrile or vinyl gloves.
    • Pray.
  • DON’T touch shared objects. There are more shared objects — things other people have touched — than you might realize, both in your home and out. If you have to touch these objects with bare hands, clean the objects with alcohol- or bleach-based sanitizing wipes first if possible. Be careful with:
  • Cell phones
  • Keyboards
  • Pens and pencils
  • Water bottles and drinking glasses
  • Dishes and eating utensils
  • Cooking utensils
  • Tools
  • Pray.

None of us have ever faced a pandemic like this before, but with cooperation from everyone, we will get through it.

We pray:

  • Lord, let us remember that we are in this together and that protecting ourselves will protect those around us. Let us be mindful of our actions, so that the number of people who are infected is limited, and healthcare will be available for those who desperately need it. Hosanna! Lord, save Your people!
