Dec 28, 2019 – Prayer Focus
Saturday, December 28, 2019 – The 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call
“A CALL TO THE WALL…ONE NATION UNDER GOD”
1-712-770-4340 Code: 543555 #
We begin our hour by praising and giving thanks to God!
After these things I heard a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying,
“Alleluia! Salvation and glory and honor and power belong to the Lord our God!”
Revelation 19:1
We sing:
Angels we have heard on high, sweetly singing o’er the plains
And the mountains in reply echoing their joyous strains
Gloria, in excelsis Deo! Gloria, in excelsis Deo!
Shepherds, why this jubilee? Why your joyous strains prolong?
What the gladsome tidings be which inspire your heavenly song?
Gloria, in excelsis Deo! Gloria, in excelsis Deo!
Come to Bethlehem and see Him whose birth the angels sing,
Come, adore on bended knee, Christ the Lord, the newborn King.
Gloria, in excelsis Deo! Gloria, in excelsis Deo!

The key assignment for the 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call is to intercede hourly for the safety and security of our President, Donald John Trump, and to pray for that which pertains to our nation!
We pray for our President’s protection and cover him with the Blood of Jesus,
asking that he will respond to every situation by the leading of the Holy Spirit.
We refer those to You who are plotting and planning the demise of our beloved President!
We say “No!” to them and ask that You expose and foil all their plans! Thank You, Lord!
We bless our First Lady, Melania, their marriage, their son Barron and all their family members.
We bless our Vice President Mike Pence, his wife Karen and their family
and all those serving in this Administration.
We pray for the Federal Reserve Board members, to use their power to boost our nation’s economy.
Let them no longer resist our President’s requests to act in accord with what is good for the USA!
The 24/7 NSPC is praying for the 2020 National Elections,
positioning ourselves in intercession before the Lord on behalf of our President and nation!
COUNTDOWN: 312 days until the election!
Let us pray into this verse:
“Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, for He has visited and redeemed His people,
and has raised up a Horn of Salvation for us.”
Luke 1:68-69
Strategic Focus for Saturday
WELCOME THE KING OF GLORY INTO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
BEARING WITNESS TO THE MESSIAH
“There was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon, and this man was just and devout,
waiting for the Consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him.
And it had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not see death before he had seen the Lord’s Christ. So he came by the Spirit into the Temple. And when the parents brought in the Child Jesus, to do for Him according to the custom of the law, he took Him up in his arms and blessed God and said:
“Lord, now You are letting Your servant depart in peace, according to Your word;
For my eyes have seen Your salvation which You have prepared before the face of all peoples,
A light to bring revelation to the Gentiles, and the glory of Your people Israel.”
And Joseph and His mother marveled at those things which were spoken of Him.
Then Simeon blessed them, and said to Mary His mother,
“Behold, this Child is destined for the fall and rising of many in Israel, and for a sign which will be spoken against (yes, a sword will pierce through your own soul also), that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.”
Now there was one, Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher.
She was of a great age, and had lived with a husband seven years from her virginity;
and this woman was a widow of about eighty-four years,
who did not depart from the Temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day.
And coming in that instant she gave thanks to the Lord,
and spoke of Him to all those who looked for redemption in Jerusalem.
So when they had performed all things according to the law of the Lord,
they returned to Galilee, to their own city, Nazareth.
And the Child grew and became strong in spirit, filled with wisdom; and the grace of God was upon Him.
Luke 2:25-40
The Jewish people followed certain commandments after a baby’s birth!
- At the end of a 40-day period of purification, the parents brought a burnt offering and a sin offering…ordinarily, a lamb for the first, and a pigeon or turtledove for the second.
- Those who were poor were allowed to bring one bird for each offering.
- With a firstborn child, the baby was consecrated to the Lord, and five shekels were given as an offering to the priest to “redeem” the child from a life of temple service.
That Mary and Joseph were obeying these commandments speaks to their obedience and piety. The offering of two turtledoves indicates their level of income: they were poor.
Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, “Consecrate to Me all the firstborn, whatever opens the womb among the children of Israel, both of man and beast; it is Mine.”
Exodus. 13:1–2
“ those redeemed of the devoted things you shall redeem when one month old,
according to your valuation, for five shekels of silver…”
Num. 18:16
We pray:
- In gratitude for a Savior Who was born into a family that honored and revered God, and obeyed His law!
At the Temple, Mary and Joseph met Simeon, a righteous man who was “waiting for the consolation of Israel.”
The people of Israel had suffered for both their own sin and due to the oppression of others throughout their history, and Simeon had spent his life waiting for this “consolation”, for the revelation of the Messiah Who was promised…the One Who would come and redeem His people.
Simeon had been given a unique promise: that he would not die before he saw the Christ—the Messiah—with his own eyes. At an old age, this promise was fulfilled. As he marveled at the glory of God in the face of the infant Christ, he knew that he was finally prepared to die and meet His Creator.
We pray:
- In thanksgiving for being allowed to know, love and serve the ONE TRUE GOD, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and for the joy of intimacy with Him, here and when we transition to our heavenly home!
- For all those we love…that each will acknowledge Jesus for Who He is so that they are ready to meet our Creator, and can stand before God unafraid, clothed in the righteousness of Christ.
The next encounter was with Anna, a Godly, dignified woman who was “at home” in the Temple. She was known for her prayer and fasting and having a heart that was prepared for the coming of the Messiah. She was given the honor of seeing Him with her own eyes, as was Simeon!
Anna was part of the believing remnant from the Northern Kingdom, and a living example of God’s faithfulness to His people. God prepared Anna—through her national heritage and her personal devotion—to be a witness of Christ in His infancy. Through hundreds of years of ancestry and a lifetime of faithful service, the Lord brought her face-to-face with His Son, which caused her to have such an “honorable mention” in scripture!
We pray:
- That we, like Anna and Simeon, are ready, willing and able to proclaim His Presence among us and that we will boldly declare the truth that the KING OF GLORY comes, and is moving in the nations!
As the angels bore witness to the Shepherds, as the star appearing in the East witnessed to the Magi, as Simeon and Anna witnessed the long-awaited promise with their own eyes, we, too, are blessed to have another witness, one who is now bearing witness to and honoring God…our President, Donald Trump!
What joy is in our hearts as we hear him speak God-honoring words and witness to all of us!
- He quoted Scripture on his Inauguration Day, saying that “the Bible tells us, ‘how good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity.’”
- He defended the dignity of every person, by asking the Congress to “pass legislation to prohibit the late-term abortion of children who can feel pain in the mother’s womb. Let us work together to build a culture that cherishes innocent life. And let us reaffirm a fundamental truth — all children — born and unborn — are made in the holy image of God”.
- In another speech, he reminded us that we are one nation under God, and “we must be the hope and the promise and the light and the glory among all the nations of the world!”
- At the UN, he said: “Let us come here to this place to stand for our people and their nations, forever strong, forever sovereign, forever just, and forever thankful for the grace and the goodness and the glory of God. God bless you and God bless the nations of the world.”
President Trump has shown himself to be a “friend” of God…and to the nations, especially our ally Israel!
We pray:
- For the heart of our President. May he be protected and nourished by the WORD of GOD daily, so that he continually expresses God’s heart to this nation and the world!
- For the mind of our President. May he be filled with God’s SHALOM, so that can be communicated to our people, despite whatever circumstances we are facing as a nation.
- For the spirit of our President. May he be led by the Holy Spirit and guided into all truth so that righteousness and justice are foundational in all he does!
As we close out this hour, we speak with ONE VOICE and bless our President. We bless all those who are rightly aligned with him on behalf of this nation! We declare that we are “witnesses”, as were Anna and Simeon, to the work God is doing in his life and that he will be key in the revelation of God’s Presence in our nation, as he “grows and becomes strong in spirit, filled with wisdom; and the grace of God is upon Him.” HalleluYah! AMEN!
