Dec 30, 2019 – Prayer Focus
Monday, December 30, 2019 – The 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call
“A CALL TO THE WALL…ONE NATION UNDER GOD”
1-712-770-4340 Code: 543555 #
We begin our hour by praising and giving thanks to God!
Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying,
“I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”
John 8:12
We sing:
Make my life Your temple, Lord, at this season start, to pull down every idol I have raised up in my heart.
On this Hanukkah, on this Feast of Dedication, I dedicate myself to You!
Take my defiled altar, come, cleanse and come repair, so every time I falter I can run to meet you there.
On this Hanukkah, on this Feast of Dedication, I dedicate myself to You!
And with every candle on the menorah that illuminates the night
Comes a prayer You’d kindle in me, Messiah, a desire for Your fire, for Your light!
Make of my mortal body a house worthy of Your name
Rid me of what’s ungodly and every hidden thing of shame
Take my supply of oil, not enough to burn long I fear
But, oh how I pray, I may one day say “A great miracle happened here!”
On this Hanukkah, on this Feast of Dedication, I dedicate myself to You!
Yeshua, I dedicate myself to YOU!

The key assignment for the 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call is to intercede hourly for the safety and security of our President, Donald John Trump, and to pray for that which pertains to our nation!
We pray for our President’s protection and cover him with the Blood of Jesus,
asking that he will respond to every situation by the leading of the Holy Spirit.
We refer those to You who are plotting and planning the demise of our beloved President!
We say “No!” to them and ask that You expose and foil all their plans! Thank You, Lord!
We bless our First Lady, Melania, their marriage, their son Barron and all their family members.
We bless our Vice President Mike Pence, his wife Karen and their family
and all those serving in this Administration.
We pray for the Federal Reserve Board members, to use their power to boost our nation’s economy.
Let them no longer resist our President’s requests to act in accord with what is good for the USA!
The 24/7 NSPC is praying for the 2020 National Elections,
positioning ourselves in intercession before the Lord on behalf of our President and nation!
COUNTDOWN: 310 days until the election!
Let us pray into this verse:
“He who sent Me is with Me.
The Father has not left Me alone, for I always do those things that please Him.”
John 8:29
Strategic Focus for Monday
WELCOME THE KING OF GLORY INTO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
Conclusion of Hanukkah
“Now it was the Feast of Dedication in Jerusalem, and it was winter.
And Jesus walked in the Temple, in Solomon’s porch.”
John 10:22-23
Marty Goetz’s “Hanukkah Song”, with which we began the hour, is a sweet reminder of what Hanukkah can be for us today. Use it as a time to allow God’s inner work in us…so every idol is pulled down, and the altars of our hearts are cleansed, prepared for us to be set aglow and DEDICATED, so begin to burn with His HOLY FIRE.
We pray:
- In gratitude for the freedom to follow You, Yeshua Messiah, and to carry Your LIGHT within us to the world!
When the Jewish people were under foreign domination by Antiochus, the Macedonian King, he tried to force them to abandon their culture and religion. They could no longer go to the Temple to worship. Idols were erected in the Holy Place and a pig was sacrificed on the consecrated altar, defiling it! This caused the Jews to be utterly demoralized…BUT THEN…when Mattathias, a Jewish priest, was ordered to sacrifice to a pagan god, the priest rose up and killed the Greek official instead. The Jews united and stood behind Mattathias and his five sons, who became known as the “Maccabees”, (Hebrew for “hammer,” because they were said to strike hammer blows against their enemies).
Antiochus underestimated the will and strength of his Jewish adversaries. Within three years, the King’s forces were annihilated, and this small band of Jewish guerilla soldiers, the Maccabees, rekindled their people’s hope as they miraculously recaptured Jerusalem and the Temple. Their rallying cry, heard far and wide, was:
“Whoever is for God, follow me!”
We pray:
- Remembering the word God gave His 24/7 NSPC family, about using us as His “hammer’s handle”, striking spiritual blows as we prayed each day, following the focus and hitting our target 24 separate times!
In 165 BCE, the Temple was purified and rededicated, an event that gave birth to Hanukkah…the Feast of Dedication. It was not named for those brave warriors, the Maccabees, but for the real victory that was achieved…that of being able to once again worship the God of Israel in His Temple. A common Hebrew phrase connected with Hanukkah is “nes gadol haya sham,” which means, “A great miracle happened there.”
The first miracle is the preservation of the Jewish people. The way God preserved His people Israel reflects the way He continues keeping all of us, Jews and Gentiles, who trust in Him today. For had Antiochus been successful:
- Israel would have lost her unique identity and God’s precious promises would not have been kept.
- There would have been no recognizable Jewish culture for the promised Messiah to be born into.
The second miracle associated with Hanukkah is the miracle of light.
- When the Maccabees recaptured the Temple, they cleansed it and searched for oil to rekindle the sacred flame, but they discovered only enough to last one day.
- They trusted God and used what oil they had to rekindle the flame. Miraculously, it lasted for eight days, which is why Hanukkah is celebrated for eight nights.
The Jewish historian Josephus referred to Hanukkah as the “Festival of Light”. During the Feast of Tabernacles celebration, four giant candelabras, each holding four huge bowls of oil, were lit in the Court of the Women. The blaze from these 16 flames could be seen in Jerusalem. It was in that place that Jesus chose to declare that He was “the Light of the world”.
Jesus is our “Shamash”, (the servant candle on the Hanukkiah). He lights our way, and His Spirit empowers us to shine His light in a dark world. In and of ourselves, we don’t have enough “oil” to do this, but when we belong to Jesus, He miraculously provides the oil, His anointing, for us. As we reflect on the miracle of Hanukkah…the miracle of the light…let it remind us of THE LIGHT, Jesus, about Whom was said:
“I will also give You as a light to the Gentiles, that You should be My salvation to the ends of the earth.”
Isaiah 49:6
The common theme that links Hanukkah and Christmas is “God with us”…Immanuel. These two holidays share their ultimate significance in the person of Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah. God is present with His people… in the miraculous military victory of the Maccabees, and in the form of a man-child, as the incarnate God.
We pray:
- Jesus…Immanuel…God with us…You sacrificed Yourself as an atonement for our sin. You were born to “light our way” …and deserve to be adored by Jews and Gentiles together, as the ONE NEW MAN.
- We bow to worship You today, as the hope of Hanukkah and the Christ of Christmas. He truly is our Rock of Ages.

PRAISE REPORT – answered prayers for our US Court System
President Trump is fulfilling his promise to appoint judges who will set aside their personal views and political prejudices in order to protect and honor the Constitution and the rule of law. In only three years, President Trump has appointed 187 federal judges, including 50 appeals court judges, and two Supreme Court Justices. The historic transformation of the judiciary is one of a long list of President Trump’s accomplishments since he took office in 2017. Despite the unprecedented levels of opposition by Democrats, the Senate’s significant confirmation achievements in 2019 have helped solidify President Trump’s judicial legacy.
The US Senate is ending the year with a historic confirmation of 102 judges, further solidifying President Trump’s legacy in reshaping the federal judiciary.
- This year’s number of confirmed judges is more than twice the annual average of judges confirmed over the past several decades…and the second-highest number of judicial confirmations in a single year in US history.
- Of the 102 confirmations this year, 20 were to the U.S. Court of Appeals, bringing President Trump’s total number of appointed appeals court judges to 50. (Obama appointed only 55 appeals court judges during his entire eight years as President.)
We pray:
- In thanksgiving for a President who keeps his promise to honor the Constitution by appointing Judges who will do the same!
- Rejoicing “in advance” for the upcoming appointments he will make to SCOTUS, replacing liberals with conservative Constitutionalists in those seats!

Note: We will not tolerate any demonic interference on the 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call. If at any time, it is necessary, the facilitator, in agreement with those on the line, will bind all forces of evil and cast them down into the abyss, then pray a shield of protection over this line and our 24/7 family!
