Jun 14, 2022 – Notes A Call to the Wall

06-14-22 Notes for “A CALL TO THE WALL…to Pray for our President Donald J. Trump”

8-10 PM ET Tuesdays 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call

712-770-4340 code: 543555 #

Today is President Trump’s 76th birthday, and we lift him up to the Lord, blessing him and his wife Melania, and all of the family. We rejoice in his birth, life and service to the USA, and ask that You will continue to guide and direct him, Lord and allow him to finish his assignment strong!

Let us together receive the Ephesians 6 armor, so graciously provided for us by our loving and protective God.

“Put on truth as a belt to strengthen you to stand in triumph.

Put on holiness as the protective armor that covers your heart.

Stand on your feet alert, then you’ll always be ready to share the blessings of peace.

In every battle, take faith as your wrap-around shield,

for it is able to extinguish the blazing arrows coming at you from the evil one!

Embrace the power of salvation’s full deliverance, like a helmet to protect your thoughts from lies.

And take the mighty razor-sharp Spirit-sword of the spoken word of God.”

Ephesians 6

We prayed and corporately received the full armor of God, asking to wear it with the dignity it truly deserves!

Today, June 14th, is President Trump’s 76th birthday. It is also our National FLAG DAY! Here’s the history!

Flag Day commemorates the date in 1777 when the United States approved the design for its first national flag. When the American Revolution broke out in 1775, the colonists weren’t fighting united under a single flag. Instead, most regiments participating in the war for independence against the British fought under their own flags.

In June of 1775, the Second Continental Congress met in Philadelphia to create the Continental Army—a unified colonial fighting force—with the hopes of a more organized battle against its colonial oppressors. This led to the creation of what was, essentially, the first “American” flag, the Continental Colors.

On June 14, 1777, the Second Continental Congress took a break from writing the Articles of Confederation and passed a resolution stating that “the flag of the United States be 13 stripes, alternate red and white,” and that “the union be 13 stars, white in a blue field, representing a new constellation.” The first flag in America was introduced on June 14, 1777, by the Continental Congress, in the middle of the Revolutionary War, as a way to unify the nation. In 1916, President Woodrow Wilson proclaimed June 14th as the official date for Flag Day. In 1949, the U.S. Congress permanently established the date as National Flag Day. OLD GLORY! Long may she wave

Star-Spangled Banner

O say can you see, by the dawn’s early light, what so proudly we hail’d at the twilight’s last gleaming,

Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight o’er the ramparts we watch’d were so gallantly streaming?

And the rocket’s red glare, the bomb bursting in air, gave proof through the night that our flag was still there.

O say does that star-spangled banner yet wave o’er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

O thus be it ever when freemen shall stand Between their lov’d home and the war’s desolation!

Blest with vict’ry and peace may the heav’n rescued land Praise the power that hath made and preserv’d us a nation!

Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just, And this be our motto – “In God is our trust,”

And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave.

We asked what other people’s experience was about the flag:

  • Sally (WY) said the Pledge of Allegiance every day as a child
  • Tesi (FL) came from Cuba at 9, and loved this country and learned the pledge and all the songs by heart
  • Ydia (FL) came in 1966 at 19, and remembers going to ball games and singing the Anthem, with hand over heart
  • Mary Ellen (IL) in Grade School in the 50s and High School in the 60s and said the Pledge with morning prayers, and was taught about Communism and how it was not for us.
  • Gloria (NJ) we sang patriotic songs and came together for patriotic assemblies
  • Fatima (TN_) came to the USA and started school in 1968, and remembers praying in school, and reciting the Pledge and singing and honoring our country

60 years ago in 1962, Madeline Murray O’Hair succeeded in taking prayer out of school. O’Hair is best known for the Murray v. Curlett lawsuit, which challenged the policy of mandatory prayers and Bible reading in Baltimore public schools, in which she named her first son William J. Murray as plaintiff. Consolidated with Abington School District v. Schempp (1963), it was heard by the United States Supreme Court, which ruled that officially sanctioned mandatory Bible-reading in American public schools was unconstitutional. The Supreme Court had prohibited officially sponsored prayer in schools in Engel v. Vitale (1962) on similar grounds. After she founded the American Atheists and won Murray v. Curlett, she achieved attention to the extent that in 1964 Life magazine referred to her as “the most hated woman in America”. Through American Atheists, O’Hair filed numerous other suits on issues of separation of church and state.

Maureen said that this is the 60th year that prayer has been locked down in schools, and then

  • Tesi (FL) prayed for a DIVINE REVERSAL of this curse
  • Sharon (Paraguay) started to teach in 1962 and as they pledged and prayed, it was a great unifier.
  • Bobby (WI) has asked for forgiveness for not standing up when the prayer was removed from school. Our

brothers and sisters from other countries know how terrible situations have been, and appreciate our freedom. Be merciful, Lord and restore our nation. Let us not take it for granted.

  • Carol (IL) said Kay (IL) has a great testimony about this.
    • Kay (IL) went to Englewood HS, in the worst area of Chicago that had 28 students murdered by gang violence, with 16 gangs in a 500-600 student body. The principal, who was desperate, asked pastors for help. Kay felt that she was to start a prayer altar in the high school, and went in with 6 people, as a World Trumpet team, to pray…with no agenda! They praised and honored the Lord with a sacrifice of praise, for an hour…and continued each Tuesday. The peace of God flooded them, and they knew God was there! The School Resource Officer testified that “there was a change taking place”, and over time, hearts were open and many students accepted the Lord. They were blessed to see the top gang leader come to Christ, and to exchange hugs with him! Their group was able to give a scholarship to one of the students, and Kay was asked to present it at their Commencement ceremony, and tell them about God’s love!
  • Joan (AZ) went to school in the UK, then lived in Canada from 1956, till she came to the US in 1992, we asked about her experience of becoming a citizen. She was sworn in at the US Embassy in Montreal, CANADA and sobbed uncontrollably…she was so happy!
  • Becky (MI) exciting to hear these stories. When I was in grade school, we prayed, pledged and sang patriotic songs. Dad was a WWII hero and Mother was a patriot. In 2020, I met with the 24/7 MI SPC members near Detroit, and as I headed home, on Utica Road, there were American flags lining the road!

Thirty-one words affirm the values and freedom that the American flag represents. They are recited while facing the flag as a pledge of Americans’ loyalty to their country. The Pledge of Allegiance was written for the 400th anniversary, in 1892, of the discovery of America. A national committee of educators and civic leaders planned a public-school celebration of Columbus Day to center around the flag. Included with the script for ceremonies that would culminate in raising of the flag, was the pledge. So it was in October 1892 Columbus Day programs that school children across the country first recited the Pledge of Allegiance this way:

“I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands:

one Nation (under God), indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for all.”

(the phrase “under God” was added later)

Controversy continues over whether the author was the chairman of the committee, Francis Bellamy — who worked on a magazine for young people that published the pledge — or James Upham, who worked for the publishing firm that produced the magazine. The pledge was published anonymously in the magazine and was not copyrighted.

Maureen reminded us to teach our children and grands not to allow the flag to touch the ground! We thanked everyone for sharing their precious memories! Pastor Ioan said he learned the love of our flag as he watched our President, as shown below! MAGA…and so much more!

  • Desiree (NY) shared a story about being the only Christian in a group, where the American and Israeli flags were displayed…and the US flag was lower than the Jewish flag. She asked to hold the American flag, and lifted it high! As they came in, she said: “AMERICA, we love you!”…and they ushered them in.
  • Gloria (NJ) graduated in 1959, from Garfield NJ (known as “the Mafia town”) and Bill Bright came and gave them the 4 spiritual laws, and Bill Wilkerson came and spoke to them.
  • Tesi asked us to pray about the destruction of 70 food processing plants. 55 were by man-made fires. We will keep that in prayer…and address it further.

Pastor Ioan invited us to pray for our President, and bless him so that he can stand strong for the nation!

  • Richard (AK) professed his love for the President and asked GOd’s blessings on him
  • Tesi (FL) prayed for his YOUTH, A CLEAR MIND, and STRENGTH to come back and take the Oval Office
  • Nina (MI) when David was persecuted by Saul, as President Trump is being persecuted, God protected him and He will protect Donald Trump as well.
  • Bobby (WI) said she feels that he shows his emotions on his face. She prayed that God would lift up his countenance and encourage him!
  • Sherrill (TX) said that Kellyanne Conway’s newly released book said that President Trump “lost the election” – Maureen said that was not the full story!
    • President Trump said: “Kellyanne Conway never told me that she thought we lost the election. If she had, I wouldn’t have dealt with her any longer — she would have been wrong — could go back to her crazy husband. Writing books can make people say some very strange things. I wonder why? Got 12 million more votes than we did the first time, the most votes, by far, of any sitting President. The election was RIGGED. They used Covid to cheat and steal, and the evidence is massive and indisputable. See “2000 Mules.”
  • Debbie (TX) we acknowledge President Trump as the DULY ELECTED President. 1 Samuel 2:1-10 ends with “He will give strength to His king, and exalt the [c]horn of His anointed.”
  • Desiree (NY) WE MUST ARISE and STAND and say enough, so that this UNJUST January 6th Committee will not have its way, the wicked will come to ruin, and President Trump will be avenged by GOD!

We prayed corporately for the peaceful condition of President Trump’s mind, that he be encouraged and not discouraged, and that he continues to press forward – KADIMA! – on behalf of the USA.

Tonight, we stand strong and affirm that President Trump is the true President of the United States, that he won the 2020 election, and that will be proven soon, and he will be returned to office!

Pastor Ioan said that history proves that as we pray and sow the seeds of truth, they will bear fruit! Everything in the USA is falling apart, and the Dems can no longer hold it together. People are fed up and calling for change! We pray and proclaim over the nation that President Trump is our President, and we take communion on behalf of the destiny and deliverance of our nation!

We took communion together and sang:

God bless America, land that I love.

Stand beside her and guide her Through the night with the light from above,

From the mountains to the prairies, to the oceans white with foam,

God bless America, my home sweet home!

From the mountains to the prairies, to the oceans white with foam,

God bless America, my home sweet home! God bless America, my home sweet home!

With love and blessings to all!

SHALOM!

Maureen and Pastor Ioan
