As we come together tonight, Maureen asked Pam (TC) to lead us in putting on the armor of God once again, and receive it with gratitude!
“Put on God’s complete set of armor provided for us, so that you will be protected as you fight against the evil strategies of the accuser! Your hand-to-hand combat is not with human beings, but with the highest principalities and authorities operating in rebellion under the heavenly realms. For they are a powerful class of demon-gods and evil spirits that hold this dark world in bondage. Because of this, you must wear all the armor that God provides so you’re protected as you confront the slanderer, for you are destined for all things and will rise victorious.
Put on truth as a belt to strengthen you to stand in triumph. Put on holiness as the protective armor that covers your heart. Stand on your feet alert, then you’ll always be ready to share the blessings of peace.
In every battle, take faith as your wrap-around shield, for it is able to extinguish the blazing arrows coming at you from the evil one! Embrace the power of salvation’s full deliverance, like a helmet to protect your thoughts from lies. And take the mighty razor-sharp Spirit-sword of the spoken word of God.
We prayed corporately and put on the Ephesians 6 “armor of God.”
As we come together tonight, Pastor Ioan is getting some much-needed rest after quite an ordeal attempting to get David’s “Student Visa” which would enable him to return to the USA to study….and be together with the entire Peia family. That Visa was rejected today…and his current Visa was rescinded. Pastor Ioan knows that this was an attack, and has recovered from the shock, and is strategizing as to the next steps. He asked that we pray for them tonight, as to how to move forward…KADIMA!
Attitude is critical! “Damn the torpedoes” was a phrase used during the civil war by an American hero, Rear Admiral David Farragut, who was aboard a Union ship in the battle of Mobile Bay, August 5, 1864… Farragut’s words, which we often hear shortened to “Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead!” were actually: “Damn the torpedoes! Four bells. Captain Drayton, go ahead! Jouett, full speed!” The Union enjoyed a spectacular victory that day, which, along with the capture of Atlanta, had a significant impact on Abraham Lincoln’s bid for re-election 2 months later.
As we pray for Pastor Ioan and David tonight, we agree with Farragut and declare: FULL SPEED AHEAD>>>FORWARD>>>KADIMA! We prayed corporately and asked for God’s guidance for Pastor Ioan as he deals with this situation. HalleluYah!
We then offered individual prayers as to what we heard:
- Mary Ellen (IL) Be persistent and keep going back until you get it! Three different things came up: 1-by going back, they will be hidden from the evil bureaucrats; 2- that Pastor Ioan’s armor be like steel. Do not let go. Find the Rahab to help you! 3-Satan will have to return 7 x what he stole and peace and love will envelop them.
- Blanche (MO) kept thinking about the unjust judge who relented and gave the persistent woman what she was asking for. Prayed that he will give over that Visa.
- Bobbie (TX) picture of a gold card with black lettering on it…googled it and found AMERICAN EXPRESS! She thanked God in advance for making David an AMERICAN in an EXPRESS way! Even before they left CA, there was something about strengthening David…he shall not be as he was before…he will not succumb to any spirit of heaviness, depression, or anxiety off both of them. You are doing a new thing with him and he will not have to repeat the experience he had before…he will step up to the bat and hit it!
- Blanche (MO) bound the unjust spirit from operating there…justice will be given to them!
- Pam (TX) Give both David and Pastor Ioan eyes to see what You are doing. Let them know as in Isaiah 11 that “the Spirit of Yahweh will rest upon him, the Spirit of Extraordinary Wisdom, the Spirit of Perfect Understanding, the Spirit of Wise Strategy, the Spirit of Mighty Power, the Spirit of Revelation, and the Spirit of the Fear of Yahweh.” Let them maneuver through this without being overtaken by the tactics of the enemy.
- Balance (MO) let the anointing of David be upon them, to sort out any problems.
- Mary Ellen (IL) Peace and confidence…no one will intimidate or fluster them. Philippians 1:28 not in any way terrified by your adversaries, which is to them a proof of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that from God.
- Sharon (Paraguay) the answer is secured in Your Perfect Plan to bring David here. Let both of them be completely saved from any “human dependence” – feeling that he needs to be there as a father for David – or that David will not be dependent on his father, but will grow in his assured dependency on God, his heavenly Father.
- Mary Ellen (IL) something in the area of “cutting the cord” has not been done. Do it, Lord! Heal David and let him grow as a man before You, Father. Heal Pastor Ioan of any sense of insecurity or need to hover over him…give him the confidence that David is strong, and that the Holy Spirit is looking over him! Let Pastor Ioan relax and be free!
- Sharril (CO) David was not there when his mother died, and that impacted him, Reach in and heal any areas in their hearts that are wounded…minister to them in those areas of need…lift him/them up in this time of crisis, this huge storm…and reveal Yourself to David in a much deeper way!
- Mary Ellen (IL) When they were in Romania, they were under Communist control, and there was some woman who was like KGB, and she has this picture of that spirit hovering over that country! When they come face to face with that spirit, what do they need to do….forgive or something???
- Ydia (FL) the woman could be jealous…she is stuck there and David wanted to come back here, and she stopped him. Pray that when they go back there will be another person who will grant the Visa.
- Irma (VA) Can he apply in another place?
- Cindy (CO) addressed the Lord with thanksgiving and praise, that He oversees all the visas and all the travel…and although it may be blocked now, you are the One Who can move them from country to country…and put David’s application on the top of the pile! Let them come to You and not lose faith or be confused. We say we will not hold bitterness or resentment for that lady, nor will they!
- Abigail (MI) 1 John 5:14-15 Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.” Restore freedom to travel according to 1 Samuel 30:8 So David inquired of the Lord, saying, “Shall I pursue this troop? Shall I overtake them?” And He answered him, “Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all.” Psalm 5:12 James 1:5 Show them where to go/replace that person or change her heart.
- Joan (AZ) God is giving them a chance to persevere, and the 24/7 is being asked to pound heaven so that David will not stay in Romania while Pastor Ioan is here Romans 8:16-22 – The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, 17 and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together. For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. …(to the end) Also, if Pastor Ioan has any guilt in his heart about having left David behind to suffer, he will be released from that. We are being called into a closer walk as a family, as our leader is suffering.
- Jenny (CA) – from Russia – said that only Americans make those determinations re Visas…and they may not be sure he will come back.
- Sharon (Paraguay) Open their eyes to see how they can minister to those like this woman…use them where they are now! Let them be so assured of Your being in control and their ultimate good, that they will pour out rivers of living water over her soul…and she may need what they have to be set free!
- Mary Ellen (IL) Joseph in Genesis 50:19-21 Joseph said to them, “Do not be afraid, for am I in the place of God? But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive. Now, therefore, do not be afraid; I will provide for you and your little ones.” And he comforted them and spoke kindly to them.”
- Tesi (FL) Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Isaiah 54:17 No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord. Have him apply for a student visa immediately. It will go through!
- Kris (CA) Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” Call forth those things that are not as if they are! Dispatch an angel to break through these prison doors and let the people see David standing at the door, as Peter was!
- Ann (MN) they will have enough money to do what they have to do!
- Teddi (TN) Isaiah 40:31 they WILL soar on wings of eagles – You’ll take care of the rest!
- Janice (AZ) Isaiah 43:2 “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you.”Pastor Ioan has lived under Communism before, and we pray he will not have to go through this again with his son David! America is their home and we ask You to bring them home!
- Desiree (NY) send an angel and grant them great favor so they can come back to the US.
- Sally (WY) sees a “trip line” that is trying to “trip them up” and pull them down! We say no and ask that You will let them stand in this! Loose their souls from this trauma so they can step into the place God has for them!
- Gloria (NY) placed a restraining order over the strongholds over Romania…and ask You to open doors no man can close…and close doors no man can open for them! Let them be amazed.
- Desiree (NY) Thinking about how people are not free here now…and how in NY, many have the vax ID cards now. We are really praying for ourselves as well as Pastor Ioan and David, for freedom. It’s heartbreaking as to what is going on in NY, and with Pastor Ioan…we are all in the same fight! TOGETHER! We will not accept this…it is unacceptable. Tonight, as we stand in the gap for them, we also stand for our country…and let us be part of shifting the tide for all 50 states…and Romania!
We prayed into that corporately, and then we shared feedback on our prayer:
- Kay (IL) We ask that You will rescue us from this oppression, and we ask that any spirit that is from the USA (suppression in CA) will have no hold on them. We speak wholeness and cleansing from any spirit that has attached itself to them.
- Gloria (NJ) kept seeing the word: INVISIBLE. Make them invisible to those who might make a problem, and let them be free to come back home!
- Mary Ellen (IL) that spirit that wants to attack them, tyranny, can not impact them…they are free and the Blood of Jesus is over them, and as Moses was guided out from under the thumb of Pharoah so too will they be led out!
- Nancy (MN) prayed that the spirit of discrimination against people of faith (Christians) will be stopped and that the enemy will not be able to attack them. Let them be set free and enabled to go in freedom!…
- Desiree (NY) Acts 12:5 “Peter was therefore kept in prison, but constant prayer was offered to God for him by the church.”
- Mary Ellen (IL) maybe we should add a prayer point to the daily focus.
- Teddi (TN) Hebrews 12:1-2 God will make a way, where there seems to be no way
We sang:
God will make a way, where there seems to be no way
He works in ways we cannot see, He will make a way for me
He will be my guide, hold me closely to His side
With love and strength for each new day, He will make a way, He will make a way…
- Susan (GA) Exodus 14:13 Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever. “
- Joan (AZ) Romans 8:37 “Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.”
- Roxie (CO) Proverbs 21:21-22, 30 He who follows righteousness and mercy Finds life, righteousness, and honor. A wise man scales the city of the mighty, and brings down the trusted stronghold. There is desirable treasure, and oil in the dwelling of the wise, but a foolish man squanders it.
- Bobby (WI) kept hearing the word: Peace! Let there be no fear or disturbance…let them both be at peace!
Maureen thanked God for this opportunity to pray for Pastor Ioan and David…and unrestricted time to do that!
- Kay (IL) asked that we remember to pray for our nation. Maureen replied that we do that daily…hourly!

for the safety and security of our duly elected President, Donald John Trump,
and to pray for that which pertains to our nation!”
- Desiree (NY) when we pray for the nation each hour, ask that we receive words of wisdom and share what we hear or see.
- Mary Ellen (IL) Prayed for the political prisoners of the January 6th -5 faux commission.- let people be aware of what is happening and let a groundswell of patriots take place demanding the release of these prisoners. Give good counsel to those being hauled into these committee meetings.
We took all these difficulties that Pastor Ioan and David are experiencing, and what we are dealing with in our nation, and gave them to the Lord as we shared in communion together. We were honored to have Irma (VA) lead us in receiving the bread, and Sherrill (TX) lead us in receiving the cup, and reminded us of the New Covenant in his Blood…as we look back to the cross and ahead to the future with Him!
We closed singing:
Oh Lord, you’re beautiful, Your face is all I seek,
For when your eyes are on this child, Your grace abounds to me.
