We begin our hour by praising and giving thanks to God!
Let them praise the name of the Lord, for His Name alone is exalted;
His glory is above the earth and heaven.
And He has exalted the horn of His people, the praise of all His saints,
of the children of Israel, a people near to Him. Praise the Lord!

The key assignment for the 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call is to intercede hourly
for the safety and security of our duly elected President, Donald John Trump,
and to pray for that which pertains to our nation!
We pray for his protection, for our First Lady, Melania, and their marriage
and for all the members of their family.
We cover them all with the Blood of Jesus.
We ask that in every situation and decision, President Trump will be led by the Holy Spirit!

Praying for Those Affected by Hurricane Ida
“Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return there.
The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away;
Blessed be the name of the Lord.”
Job 1:21
Hurricane Ida made landfall yesterday as a Category 4 storm, slamming into the state of Louisiana, after Hurricane Katrina hit…in the same place…on the same day…16 years ago! As Ida moved inland, it remained at Category 4 strength, with sustained winds to 140 mph. It arrived with more powerful winds and a greater amount of rainfall than Katrina, but its storm surge of 15 ft was less than Katrina’s, which reached highs of 20 ft. That led to the catastrophic failure of levees in New Orleans.
- The Louisiana National Guard had stationed 5,000 troops in preparation for search and rescue missions.
- 10,000 linesmen were placed on standby to deal with power outages.
- By far, the greatest concern was for residents choosing to stay at home in remote areas that lie outside the New Orleans levee protection system, which is designed to limit flooding. Pray.
New Orleans is more vulnerable to hurricane damage than most cities for two main reasons:
- first, the city’s elevation is about six feet below sea level;
- second, the area lacks wetlands and barrier islands, which serve as a natural defense against storms.
LA Governor John Bel Edwards said the state invested significantly in shoring up the levy system after Katrina. Now, Ida “will be the most severe test,” but he expects the levees to hold. “The next 24, 36 hours are just going to be very, very critical for us here in Louisiana.”
Tens of thousands of residents in coastal communities, as well as those in New Orleans, outside the levee protection system, were under mandatory evacuation orders. All others were urged to leave voluntarily. Pray.
Let us read and pray Psalm 86, interceding for those who are dealing with issues in Ida’s aftermath.
Bow down Your ear, O Lord, hear me; for I am poor and needy.
Preserve my life, for I am holy; You are my God;
Save Your servant who trusts in You! Be merciful to me, O Lord, For I cry to You all day long.
Pray.
Rejoice the soul of Your servant, for to You, O Lord, I lift up my soul.
For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, and abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You.
Pray.
Give ear, O Lord, to my prayer; and attend to the voice of my supplications.
In the day of my trouble I will call upon You, for You will answer me.
Pray.
Among the gods there is none like You, O Lord; nor are there any works like Your works.
All nations whom You have made shall come and worship before You, O Lord, and shall glorify Your name.
For You are great, and do wondrous things; You alone are God.
Pray.
Teach me Your way, O Lord; I will walk in Your truth; unite my heart to fear Your name.
I will praise You, O Lord my God, with all my heart, and I will glorify Your name forevermore.
For great is Your mercy toward me, and You have delivered my soul from the depths of Sheol.
Pray.
O God, the proud have risen against me, and a mob of violent men have sought my life,
and have not set You before them.
But You, O Lord, are a God full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering and abundant in mercy and truth.
Pray.
Oh, turn to me, and have mercy on me!
Give Your strength to Your servant, and save the son of Your maidservant.
Show me a sign for good, that those who hate me may see it and be ashamed,
because You, Lord, have helped me and comforted me.
Pray.
We pray:
- For our brothers and sisters who were in harm’s way, and are suffering repercussions due to the storm! Pray.
- For the levees to continue to hold and the high water to dissipate and be removed quickly…Pray.
- For the removal of faux leaders, including Biden, Harris, Pelosi, Schumer, and all those who are collaborating with them. Pray.
- For an “appointed place” and an “appointed time” for our meeting with President Trump! Pray.
