We begin our hour by praising and giving thanks to God!
“I will bring the one-third through the fire, refine them as silver is refined, and test them as gold is tested.
They will call on My name, and I will answer them.
I will say, ‘This is My people’; and each one will say, ‘The Lord is my God.’ ”
Zechariah 13:9
We sing: Purify My Heart
Purify my heart, let me be as gold and precious silver.
Purify my heart, let me be as gold, pure gold.
Refiner’s Fire…my heart’s one desire…is to be holy…set apart for You, Lord!
I choose to be holy…set apart for You, my Master…ready to do Your will.
Purify my heart, cleanse me from within and make me holy.
Purify my heart, cleanse me from my sin, deep within.
Refiner’s Fire…my heart’s one desire…is to be holy…set apart for You, Lord!
I choose to be holy…set apart for You, my Master…ready to do Your will.
Refiner’s Fire…my heart’s one desire…is to be holy…set apart for You, Lord!
I choose to be holy…set apart for You, my Master…ready to do Your will.
I’m ready to do Your will.

Strategic Focus for Monday
WELCOME THE KING OF GLORY INTO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
ONE NATION UNDER GOD, INDIVISIBLE, WITH LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL!
The Battle Spreads Throughout the Nation! KADIMA! – Part 21
When You said, “Seek My face,” my heart said to You, “Your face, Lord, I will seek.”
Psalm 27:8
In a recent blog on Give Him 15, Dutch Sheets said God is about to release something on the earth. He noted that when God was about to do something very significant in Israel, He would ask them to draw near to Him. Why?
- Our levels of faith, power, authority, and effectiveness will always be determined by how well we know Him; and intimacy determines efficacy.
- Our heart connection with the Father completely dictates the degree of all productivity in the Kingdom.
- The more we know His heart and ways, the more authority and responsibility He can trust us with. He wants partners, family, not hirelings.
Pray.
An intimate knowledge of Yahweh should be our highest goal in life and, if achieved, will become life’s greatest treasure. When we, as believers, embark on our “journey into God’s heart,” enjoying the pleasure of His company becomes our greatest reward. Let us read and reflect on Dutch’s message, which is most appropriate for us today. As we pray into it, may we find peace and rest in the Lord!
“But I’ll keep coming closer and closer to you, Lord Yahweh, for Your Name is good to me.
I’ll keep telling the world of Your awesome works, my Faithful and Glorious God!”
Psalm 73:28
Pray.
God often asked the Israelites to draw near to Him, and when He did, the Hebrew word He used was “qadash”. In order to receive the correct understanding of a word, it must be translated correctly. If not, we can be robbed of critical understanding.
“Qadash” is usually translated as “consecrate” or “sanctify.” To most people, this means: “to be holy by not sinning or committing inappropriate acts.” However, that is not its meaning. “Qadash” is to be “set apart” or “separated unto” God.
The Old Testament word for being separated from sin (or from other things, as an offering to God) is “nazir”...from which the word “nazarite” comes. A person who took a “nazarite vow” separated themselves from certain things and activities. It was a vow that “pictured” one’s devotion to God; but it did not create or define one’s relationship with Him.
“Religion” has taken the concept of “nazir” (don’t do this, don’t touch that, don’t go here, etc.) and defined our relationship with God according to it.
- Instead of teaching that God is Father (Abba) Who loves and enjoys His children…the emphasis is that God is a Judge Who reproofs and punishes sinners.
- That leads people to try and “assure their salvation” through doing “good works”, and performing righteous deeds.
- Eventually, the concept of “nazir” (separate yourself from) became the “religious standard”. Pray.
On the other hand, “qadash” is not a command to separate from things and activities or to stop doing something. Rather, it is an invitation to separate ourselves unto…to draw near to someone, to devote oneself to a person and be set aside unto an individual.
Whereas “nazir” tells us to “stay away from”… “qadash” says “draw near.” God wants connection, not perfection…He wants a family, not fearful subjects…He craves relationship, not religious activity. He told Israel repeatedly, “Qadash yourselves. Draw near to Me.” He didn’t say, “Nazir yourselves.” Pray.
The difference is profound:
- Qadash is do; nazir is don’t.
- Qadash produces and enhances relationship; nazir is only a “picture” of relationship.
- Qadash is worship; nazir is works.
- Qadash is the source; nazir is the result / outflow.
- Qadash is the root; nazir is the fruit.
Our word “holy” comes from the Hebrew word “qadash”… not “nazir”. Holy,” in the Old Testament is the word “qodesh”. Attempting to separate ourselves from, or refraining from doing things we perceive as sinful, does not make us holy. (Case in point: the Pharisees…)
Holiness (“qadash”) is literally defined as being separated unto God, drawing near to Him; giving Him quality time; worship; devotion. These things describe a relationship, and they define holiness from which good works are the fruit! Pray.
Look at these examples of “qadash” In the Old Testament:
Then the Lord said to Moses, “Go to the people and consecrate them today and tomorrow,
and let them wash their clothes.”
Exodus 19:10
Moses was told to “qadash” the descendants of Abraham for three days at Mount Sinai, before God began the process of forming them into a literal nation.
Pray.
~~~
So you shall put them on Aaron your brother and on his sons with him.
You shall anoint them, consecrate them, and sanctify them,
that they may minister to Me as priests.”
Exodus 28:41
Moses was told to “qadash’ Aaron and his sons before anointing them
as the beginning of the priesthood in Israel.
Pray.
~~~
And Joshua said to the people,
“Sanctify yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you.”
Joshua 3:5
Joshua was told to “qadash” the people for three days before crossing into the promised land of Canaan.
Pray.
~~~
Blow the trumpet in Zion, consecrate a fast, call a sacred assembly;
Joel 2:15
Joel prophesied that the people of Israel should “qadash” themselves,
in preparation for the incredible restoration God was about to perform,
which pictured Pentecost in Acts 2.
Pray.
Drawing near to the Lord is what prepares us for revival, for restoration, and for new beginnings. It is not our works but our hearts that God wants.
The coming outpouring of the Holy Spirit will be the greatest “Presence” movement in history. It will not be built on or revolve around gifts, preaching, personalities, methods, programs, buildings, innovation, sensationalism, or hype. It will center around authentic relationship with God…and billions of people around the world will find what they have been looking for.
We pray:
- Father, nothing we could ever do will earn Your love or grace. Forgive us for the times we felt as though our good works could motivate You to act on our behalf. Pray.
- That as we draw near to You, we will see facets of Your character that we have not seen before. We cry out with Apostle Paul, “that I may know Him…” Philippians 3:10 Pray.
We close our hour remembering our beloved President, Donald John Trump, before the Lord…
We pray
- May he be blessed with a supernatural longing to know You more, and rejoice as You joyfully satisfy his hungry heart! Pray.
- In gratitude for the letter we sent to President Trump. May we receive a speedily and affirmative response from him. Pray.
- For an “appointed place” and an “appointed time” for our meeting with President Trump! Pray.
