  The key assignment for the 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call is to intercede hourly for the safety and security of our President, Donald John Trump, and to pray for that which pertains to our nation!

We pray for our President’s protection and cover him with the Blood of Jesus, as he is in one of the most difficult moments of his Presidency. Let him respond to every situation by the leading of the Holy Spirit,  and not be provoked to go to war with Iran or any other nation!

We refer those to You who are plotting and planning the demise of our beloved President! 

We say “No!” to them and ask that You expose and foil all their plans! Thank You, Lord! 

We bless our First Lady, Melania, their marriage, their son Barron and all their family members.

We bless our Vice President Mike Pence, his wife Karen and their family

and all those serving in this Administration. 

We pray for the Federal Reserve Board members, to use their power to boost our nation’s economy. 

Let them no longer resist our President’s requests to act in accord with what is good for the USA!  

The 24/7 NSPC is praying for the 2020 National Elections, 

positioning ourselves in intercession before the Lord on behalf of our President and nation!  

COUNTDOWN: 297 days until the election!

Strategic Focus for Sunday 

WELCOME THE KING OF GLORY INTO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA 

BE PREPARED!

“Thus says the Lord to His anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have held—to subdue nations before him 

and loose the armor of kings, to open before him the double doors, so that the gates will not be shut: 

‘I will go before you and  make the crooked places straight;

 I will break in pieces the gates of bronze and cut the bars of iron.

 I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places,

That you may know that I, the Lord, Who call you by your name, Am the God of Israel’”

Isaiah 45:1-3

Today, as we worshipped the Lord and extolled His HOLY NAME, we entered a place of rest – SHALOM – knowing that wherever He is, we are secure!  In our scripture verses above, we are told to ask what we will of Him, and that He will go before us, to subdue our enemies and that it will be HE Who undoes the military capacity of our adversaries…which is indeed, GOOD NEWS!  

Iran (called Elam or Susiana) was an ancient Pre-Iranian civilization centered in the far west and southwest of modern-day Iran. Susa (Shushan) was the capital of Elam and the winter residence of the kings of Persia. It was under Babylonian control; but it was captured by the Persians under Cyrus the Great, who made it the seat of government. (It is now in the area of the city of Shush, in central Persia, now known as Iran.)  

Nehemiah 1:1 and Daniel 8:2 both speak of Shushan, and Daniel’s residence at Shushan has caused a structure at the foot of the citadel to be called the “Tomb of Daniel”. It was also in Shushan that Queen Esther outmaneuvered the evil Haman and saved her people, the Jews of the Persian Empire.

“In Shushan the  citadel, there was a certain Jew whose name was Mordecai, the son of Jair, the son of Shimei, the son of Kish, a Benjamite”…and “when many young women were gathered at Shushan the citadel, under the custody of Hegai, that Esther also was taken to the king’s palace”.

Esther 2:5, 8 

We pray:

• In gratitude for our Biblical understanding of this region and people. Lord, would You bless it once more!

Along with its colorful history comes a dark legacy…one with which much blood and death is associated! Islam, the world’s second-largest religion, has two main denominations: the Sunnis and the Shiites, and Iran is 95% Shiite. The two branches have the same basic beliefs but differ in their interpretation of the Quran. The main conflict between the Sunnis and Shiites is a political power struggle that has created endless tensions and wars in the Middle East. Today, we see that tension reflected in the Sunni kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Shiite dominant Iran and Iraq.

Shiism as a separate sect was born of political assassinations. 

• Following the death of Muhammad in 632 AD in Medina, one group believed that leadership of the community should go to Abu Bakr, Muhammad’s father-in-law, a trusted friend and one of the first converts in Islam. 
• A second group wanted Muhammad’s cousin Ali to become caliph (leader). This group became known as Shi’at-‘Ali (partisans of Ali – or “Shi’a”). 
• Ali became  Islam’s fourth caliph, but four years later, he was murdered by his political rivals. Because Ali had agreed to arbitration to resolve Shiite differences about the future direction of the Muslim community, followers saw his assassination as an act of high treason.
• Ali was succeeded by his two sons Hasan, who was later poisoned, and Hussein, who was also murdered.

So when Soleimani, who expanded Shiite influence across the Middle East for four decades was targeted, his death evoked the recall of the dark history of assassinations in the Shiite culture, and they mourned a new martyr!

We pray:

• For the people of Iran and Iraq, and throughout the Middle East, to be freed from the domination of Islam,   to encounter and receive Jesus, as their TRUE SAVIOR and MESSIAH! 

IRAN KNOWS that PRESIDENT TRUMP is NOT an OBAMA! They want the US out of Iraq so they can fully take over that nation, which will allow them to build their influence from Iran through Iraq to Syria and Lebanon to the doorstep of Israel.  When the Iraqi Parliament passed a  resolution calling for an end to all foreign troop presence in their nation, it was an Iranian occupied Iraq talking.  “The Iraqi government must work to end the presence of any foreign troops on Iraqi soil and prohibit them from using its land, air space or water for any reason.”  The problem is that Iran has already infiltrated and taken over Iraqi soil through pro-Iran members of their government.  President Trump “has their number” and he won’t be bullied or let a danger like this go unaddressed.  He has clearly said: “IRAN WILL NEVER HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON!”  

We see God’s judgment against evil when He spoke to Jeremiah: 

“Against Elam I will bring the four winds from the four quarters of heaven, 

and scatter them toward all those winds; there shall be no nations where the outcasts of Elam will not go.”

 Jeremiah 49:36  

“I will set My throne in Elam, and will destroy from there the king and the princes,’ says the Lord. 

‘But it shall come to pass in the latter days: I will bring back the captives of Elam’, says the Lord.” 

Jeremiah 49:38-39

We pray:

• We honor and exalt You alone, Lord, as sovereign, in control, and establishing YOUR kingdom throughout the earth! We pray for our enemies, Lord, ask that You be mindful of us and of Iran and Iraq this day! 

Yesterday, we shared some of the challenges America faces regarding security at home and abroad. Today, we are following up with a Homeland Security Bulletin regarding Iran, along with prayer points.

Details

• On January 2, 2020, the United States carried out a lethal strike in Iraq killing Iranian IRGC-Quds Force commander Qassem Soleimani while Soleimani was in Iraq. Iranian leadership and several affiliated violent extremist organizations publicly stated they intend to retaliate against the United States. Pray.
• At this time we have no information indicating a specific, credible threat to the Homeland. Iran and its partners, such as Hizballah, have demonstrated the intent and capability to conduct operations in the United States. Previous homeland-based plots have included, among other things, scouting and planning against infrastructure targets and cyber-enabled attacks against a range of US.-based targets. Pray.
• Iran maintains a robust cyber program and can execute cyberattacks against the United States. Iran is capable, at a minimum, of carrying out attacks with temporary disruptive effects against critical infrastructure in the United States. Pray.
• Iran likely views terrorist activities as an option to deter or retaliate against its perceived adversaries. In many instances, Iran has targeted United States interests through its partners such as Hizballah. Homegrown Violent Extremists could capitalize on the heightened tensions to launch individual attacks, and an attack in the homeland could come with little or no warning. Pray.
• The Department of Homeland Security is working closely with our federal, state, local, and private sector partners to detect and defend against threats to the Homeland, and will enhance security measures as necessary. Pray.

Be Prepared

• Be prepared for cyber disruptions, suspicious emails, and network delays.
• Be responsible for your personal safety. Know where emergency exits and security personnel are located.
• Carry emergency contact and special needs information with you.
• Implement basic cyber hygiene practices such as backing up your data and employing multi-factor authentication. (For more information visit CISA.gov)
• Prepare your family, businesses & employees.  Security tools/resources can be accessed through the DHS’s Hometown Security Campaign.
• We urge Americans to continue to travel, attend public events, and freely associate with others but remain vigilant and aware of surroundings.

We pray:

• For a supernatural calm and wisdom for our President, our  Commander In Chief. 
• For “Providential intervention” and intelligence for all of his advisors.  
• For unity in the military and defense departments, that they can work together for our nation’s benefit!
• For our families, all the people of the United States, and for our allies.  
• For the Iranian people be free from the suppression of the existing government so they might live in peace and freedom. May a fresh wave of salvation be poured out upon Iran and Iraq.
