Feb 4, 2020 – Prayer Focus
Tuesday, February 4, 2020 – The 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call
“A CALL TO THE WALL…ONE NATION UNDER GOD”
1-712-770-4340 Code: 543555 #
We begin our hour by praising and giving thanks to God!
“Lord my God, no one can compare with you. You have done many wonderful things.
You have planned to do these things for us. There are too many of them for me to talk about. “
Psalm 40:5
We sing:
We worship You, Almighty God, there is none like You!
We worship You, O Prince of Peace, that is what we want to do.
We give You praise, for You are our righteousness
We worship You, Almighty God, there is none like You!
There is none like You! No one else can touch our hearts like You do
We can search throughout eternity long and find there is none like You!
There is none like You! No one else can touch our hearts like You do
We can search throughout eternity long and find there is none like You!
There is none like You! There is none like You!
~~~~~
The key assignment for the 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call is to intercede hourly for the safety and security of our President, Donald John Trump, and to pray for that which pertains to our nation!
We pray for our President’s protection and cover him with the Blood of Jesus, as he is in one of the most difficult moments of his Presidency. Let him respond to every situation by the leading of the Holy Spirit!
We refer those to You who are plotting and planning the demise of our beloved President!
We say “No!” to them and ask that You expose and foil all their plans! Thank You, Lord!
We bless our First Lady, Melania, their marriage, their son Barron and all their family members.
We bless our Vice President Mike Pence, his wife Karen and their family
and all those serving in this Administration.
We pray for the Federal Reserve Board members, to use their power to boost our nation’s economy.
Let them no longer resist our President’s requests to act in accord with what is good for the USA!
The 24/7 NSPC is praying for the 2020 National Elections,
positioning ourselves in intercession before the Lord on behalf of our President and nation!
COUNTDOWN: 274 days until the election!
Let us pray into this verse:
“Let them be ashamed and brought to mutual confusion who seek to destroy my life;
Let them be driven backward and brought to dishonor who wish me evil”
Psalm 40:14
Strategic Focus for Tuesday
WELCOME THE KING OF GLORY INTO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
The 2020 State of the Union Address
“I will make all My goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim the name of the Lord before you.
I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.”
Exodus 33:19
When we opened this hour in worship, we sang and told God 7 different times: ”there is NONE like You!” That is true! Only He can touch our hearts the way that He does. He alone can turn our hearts toward the things He desires us – His intercessors – to be engaged in! It is God Who has brought us to this place where we have taken up our positions on the wall of our nation! It is our relationship with HIM that causes us to lay down our lives daily, to listen intently to His Spirit as He speaks to our hearts and shows us how we are to intercede, and then to pray for our President and our land! And it is WE who have been deeply blessed…through and by our interaction with the LIVING GOD. We can rest assured that He will be faithful to what He’s called us to… and that HE WILL NOT DISAPPOINT!
We pray:
- In gratitude for allowing us to serve Your purposes, Lord, and to be Your witnesses, as we stand and behold Your “compassion” on our President and our country, as He is acquitted tomorrow.
Yesterday, after a year-long Democratic primary battle, people were finally given a chance to have their say as the widely-anticipated Iowa caucuses launched the 2020 election cycle. What was amazing was the turnout for the Republican caucuses…where people showed up in big numbers! President Donald Trump was declared the winner of the 2020 Iowa Republican caucuses, which was recognized to be a largely symbolic vote, as he faced no significant challenge! BUT THE PEOPLE STILL CAME OUT IN DROVES.. to express their support for him and be the first to vote for him in the 2020 elections! The Trump campaign used Monday’s contest to test its organizational strength, with members of the Trump family and the Cabinet and Trump making visits to the state. State GOP officials decided to keep the caucuses in place this year to maintain the state’s status as the first in the nation to cast its ballots.
We pray:
- Symbolic or not, we take this as a prophetic picture of what will take place nationwide on November 3rd, when the nation will re-elect Donald trump for his second term as president of the United States!
In the Senate on Monday, after 4 hours of time allotted for closing arguments, the two legal teams finally “rested”. White House Counsel Pat Cipollone expressed optimism that the Senate would vote to acquit, ultimately allowing voters to decide in November whether or not Trump should continue to serve as President. He said that he has faith that the Senate will allow the American people to make their decision: “At the end of the day we put our faith in the Senate, you’ll leave this choice to them, where it belongs.”
Following closing arguments, individual Senators then began taking the 10-minutes each was given, to speak to the matter at hand and/or attest to why they would vote as they would! Those speeches will continue on the floor of the Senate until all have “had their say”.
We pray:
- That as this 2020 election cycle is launched in Iowa, there will be a clear delineation between President Trump and any others who might foolishly choose to run against him!
- That as this trial comes to an end, that each one who speaks will weigh their words carefully, aware that there is an Audience of One watching and listening…Who will hold them accountable for their words!
Throughout the trial, we observed the endless pandering by the House Managers, to Chief Justice John Roberts. The Dems had hoped that Roberts would tip the scales for them during votes on amendments, and kept suggesting that Roberts could serve as a “final word” on any issues, (ie their attempts at rendering the President’s Constitutional rights “null and void”). Last Friday, the Chief Justice told Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) that he would not be willing to break any ties that might take place in Senate votes. He said: “I think it would be inappropriate for me, an unelected official from a different branch of government, to assert the power to change that result so that the motion would succeed.”
We pray:
- That as this trial draws to a close, that John Roberts will have allowed God to do a deep work of realigning him in accordance with his eternal destiny, as he serves as the Chief Justice on our nation’s highest court.
- That “holiness, faithfulness, and righteousness” would begin to be clearly evident in his life, reflected in his speech, demeanor, and every one of his judicial decisions.
- We pray in advance for him, that when the critical issue of ROE v WADE comes before the Court, he will vote to rule as God desires!
This evening, at 9 PM ET, President Trump will stand at the podium in the House of Representatives and give his 2020 State of the Union address. Seated behind him will be his Vice President, Mike Pence, who serves as President of the Senate, and next to him will be Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), the “dis-graced” Speaker of the House. As Senators and Representatives are gathered for a Joint Session of Congress and are seated in the Chamber before him, an audience from across the nation and around the world will be tuning in by radio, television, and the Internet, as the President speaks directly to the American people.
We on the 24/7 NSPC will begin our weekly “CALL TO THE WALL to Pray for our President” at 8 pm ET and will remain on the line as the President delivers his State of the Union address, monitoring his remarks and interceding for him as he speaks! Maureen and Pastor Ioan will facilitate our time together!
“Jesus, when He came out, saw a great multitude and was moved with compassion for them, because they were like sheep not having a shepherd. So He began to teach them many things.”
Mark 6:34
We pray:
- As our President comes to the podium, let the Spirit of the Lord rest upon him, and move within him, so that as he opens his mouth to speak, the words come forth with such grace, dignity and authority that even his enemies cannot resist listening!
- That the heart of the Father, that has been in such evidence in our President, be seen by those who are watching, and they will see him in a new light…the LIGHT of GOD…radiating from a son of God!
- That the compassion Jesus had when he looked out upon the people and saw their plight, will be reflected through our President as he speaks, and many will realize that he has been called by God to lead this nation at this hour, and they will receive him and what he is calling us to as ONE NATION UNDER GOD!
