Thursday, February 20, 2020 – The 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call

“A CALL TO THE WALL…ONE NATION UNDER GOD”

1-712-770-4340   Code:  543555 #

We begin our hour by praising and giving thanks to God!

“Let us come boldly to the throne of grace, to obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”

Hebrews 4:16

We sing: This is Amazing Grace

Who breaks the power of sin and darkness? Whose love is mighty and so much stronger?

The King of Glory, the King above all kings!

Who shakes the whole earth with holy thunder and leaves us breathless in awe and wonder?

The King of Glory, the King above all kings

This is amazing grace! This is unfailing love!

That You would take my place…that You would bear my cross

You lay down Your life that I would be set free…

Oh, Jesus, I sing for all that You’ve done for me!

Who brings our chaos back into order? Who makes the orphan a son and daughter?

The King of Glory, the King of Glory!

Who rules the nations with truth and justice, shines like the sun in all of its brilliance?

The King of Glory, the King above all kings!

This is amazing grace! This is unfailing love!

That You would take my place…that You would bear my cross

You lay down Your life that I would be set free…

Oh, Jesus, I sing for all that You’ve done for me!!

The key assignment for the 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call is to intercede hourly for the safety and security of our President, Donald John Trump, and to pray for that which pertains to our nation!

We pray for our President’s protection and cover him with the Blood of Jesus, as he passes through difficult moments of his Presidency. Let him respond to every situation by the leading of the Holy Spirit!

We refer those to You who are plotting and planning the demise of our beloved President!

We say “No!” to them and ask that You expose and foil all their plans! Thank You, Lord!

We bless our First Lady, Melania, their marriage, their son Barron and all their family members.

We bless our Vice President Mike Pence, his wife Karen and their family

and all those serving in this Administration.

We pray for the Federal Reserve Board members, to use their power to boost our nation’s economy.

Let them no longer resist our President’s requests to act in accord with what is good for the USA!

The 24/7 NSPC is praying for the 2020 National Elections,

positioning ourselves in intercession before the Lord on behalf of our President and nation!

COUNTDOWN: 258 days until the election!

Let us pray into this verse:

“By the mouth of two or three witnesses every word shall be established.”

2 Corinthians 13:1

Strategic Focus for Thursday

WELCOME THE KING OF GLORY INTO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

Authentic Christianity

Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves

Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?”

2 Corinthians 13:5

When you see someone who is authentic…genuine…not putting on airs, you are at ease with them, whether in person or seeing them from a distance. There’s something precious and praiseworthy about such people!  A prime example is our President and First Lady. They ARE the “real thing”…unfeigned…honest to goodness…and straightforward…(part of the reason they draw such intense fire from the globalist, socialist, far left, who have no identity in Christ and hate those like our First Family who do!)

We pray:

  • For our beloved and very authentic President, as he travels to the western part of our nation, visiting California / Beulah, Phoenix, Colorado Springs, and Las Vegas for rallies over the next 4 days! Protect and keep him in Your loving care, Lord, bringing him home safely…and guard his precious wife and family while he is away!

When we see people who are always in the public eye, we often question if they’re “the real deal”…or just pretending…playing a role. So many times, they have been acting out a part for so long that they can’t separate themselves from the part they’ve been playing. They become lost in the illusion, putting symbolism over substancepreference over principle, and content over character

Today’s verse, 2 Corinthians 13:5, tells us to “examine ourselves as to whether we are in the faith.” Paul is giving a “confrontational challenge” to the Church in Corinth, telling them that they must prove…put to the test…inspect themselves…to see if they are really believers. We like them, must also “take stock”…proving that we are in the faith…lest we are disqualified!

What does it mean to be “disqualified”? Simply: failing the authenticity test! Sadly, there are many “church members”, who call themselves Christians, but they are not “born again”. They are “unregenerate”…not willing to reform or even show repentance; but in stubborn rebellion, they obstinately maintain their wrong positions. When their lives are examined, there is no obvious change or proof of “abiding” in Christ. If they were to be brought into court and accused of being a Christian, there wouldn’t be enough evidence to convict them!

Let’s read and pray into these five “spiritual tests” from scripture and see how we might apply them as we pray for the President…and see him pass everyone with flying colors!

1. Fruit Bearing Test

“For a good tree does not bear bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit. For every tree is known by its own fruit. For men do not gather figs from thorns, nor do they gather grapes from a bramble bush.

A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good;

and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil

For out  of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.”

Luke 6:43-45

What is the fruit that we can see being produced in our President’s life? Here is an example of what God is doing in and through him.  Former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich, publicly thanked President Trump for commuting his sentence, just hours after returning from prison a free man. “We want to thank and give our most profound and everlasting gratitude to President Trump.” Noting they are from different parties, he said Trump’s commutation decision “does nothing to help his politics.” “Trump is a man who is tough and outspoken, but he also has a kind heart.”

We pray:

  • That as we see the things our President does, that touch the lives of others so deeply, we find expressions of some of the fruit of the Spirit…love, joy, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, and gentleness, we pray for the fullness of each fruit of the Spirit to be manifest in his life!

2. Good Works Test

What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him?

If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit?”

James 2:14-18

As Christians, it should be our delight to love and serve others, so that we be among those who will hear the King say, “Inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.”

We pray:

  • In thanksgiving for President Trump not being self-centered, but rather, serving the nation, with his focus on making the lives of others better.

3. The Obedience Test

“Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments.

He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him.

He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.”

1 John 2:3-6

Instant obedience…a true desire to conform to the Word of God…is precious to the Lord! It’s our heart attitude that matters! We can see how the President has demonstrated an appreciation for wise counsel, and how he has sought the advice of others when making decisions..

We pray:

  • That the posture of our President’s heart is one of loving submission to our Lord and King…coupled with a humility that allows him to receive counsel in order to make the right decisions for our people and nation.

4. Brotherly Love Test

“We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren.

He who does not love his brother abides in death.”

1 John 3:14

“To know and be known”...”to love and be loved”…precious gifts that so many in this world have yet to experience! How fortunate we are to have our President counted among the “beloved” and then freely extending that love to others. He is the most pro-life President this nation has ever seen…and he is a man of peace!

We pray:

  • May our President be continually filled with the love of the Son for the Father, and to share this love with those around him.

5. Worldliness Test.

“Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.”

1 John 2:15-17

“Worldliness” is a preoccupation with material values which causes us to embrace values that are opposite those of God! As our President’s relationship with God grows, we will rejoice to see how it changes his relationship with the world.

We pray:

  • That our President’s life fully reflects the transformation that comes from the encounter with our Lord Jesus Christ!

I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine making request for you all with joy, for your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this very thing,

that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.”

Philippians 1:6

God has no stepchildren…those who have a “hand-me-down faith” do not know the meaning of submission. He only has sons and daughters!

We pray:

  • That our President will always live a life of obedience that reflects and radiates our Father’s love and character!
